Still will not go back to Cosmo. A simple apology doesn’t make it right with me. For starters, they need to comp his next stay and a steak dinner for two. A hotel that treats its guests like 💩 deserves all the blowback directed at them.

I've been going to Cosmo since the day they open and I visit them several times a year. They are my home away from home. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to dig deeper on what you are currently doing for Vegas right now. Luckily, someone from the social team at Cosmo got it right by seeing what value you're bringing in a crazy time. Simply put, you are single-handedly coaxing us out from our Covid apprehensions to come back to Vegas. Your video work, production, and timeliness is what Vegas needs right now. You are on the front lines of Vegas tourism. You are showing us the atmosphere and what the crowds are like, what's open, how people are masking up. You're answering all the questions I've had and helping to set my expectations. No casino website is successfully doing that right now. Thanks to you, I literally have a Delta tab and Cosmopolitan tab open on my browser about to book. Keep up the good work and thank you for taking care of the city we all love and miss.

Hi! I am a bartender at Bally's and my regular shift was working at the Lobby bar! ( the new nice one in front of check in ) It was open 24/7 before the pandemic! I always loved Barbary Coast, then Bills b/c of the price & location; the Cromwell is not my scene. Maybe Bally's will now be what Bills used to be.

@@joyce3435 With all due respect, Cosmo had told Pompsie not to record on an earlier occasion, which he documented on his vlog. When he went to check in on a later date, they probably realized they had already told him not to film. So it's not like it was out of the blue, he had been warned. For him to be contacted by the VP is very unusual. I'm sure he'll have carte blanche to record as he sees fit in the future.
@joeschmeaux Sir, with all due respect, the whole point of the story was that he had the camera in plain sight at check-in never being told NO professional equipment in the room, they then proceed to check him in, take his $$$ only to wait till he got to his room to throw him out and not refund him!
@@soupy8959 Nope. Watch both videos again. They told him not to record at the restaurant on an earlier occasion, then again when he checked in. After that he recorded again on the way to the room. Of course they saw it on camera, because they were likely watching him all the way to his room, knowing that he'd do exactly what he said he wouldn't -- they do that in casinos. As for the charge, casinos like to cause maximum inconvenience when they 86 people -- they do that too, often after a loud 4:00 am wake up knock, and security guards standing in the room as the evictees dress, pack and GTFO! He could have successfully disputed the charge with his credit card company. Lucky for him, Cosmo realized its bad PR and fixed things. But nice sticking up for your bro anyway, sis.
The Cosmo thing is awesome! It's nice to know that vloggers and the people who watch them have enough influence to get noticed by these executives.

Staying at Bally’s next June. Got a room for 25 a night with caesars rewards. Stayed at paris last year. Beautiful. Amazing.
In the whole "big picture" of the being thrown out really worked to Pompsie advantage. First, many people like myself are followers of other Vegas bloggers. When this happen it was a big deal story all over the Vegas youtube community. So much so, huge numbers of us viewed the "kicked out" video. which was our first introduction to Pompsie. From that time the numbers of viewers have grown greatly, and his subscribers have doubled. While I work to stay loyal to another Vegas blogger, I must admit this guy is quickly growing on me.

I was so happy to hear you say you respected the job the security people had to do when asking you to leave that one floor. I'm so sick of young people having an attitude about being told by others they're not allowed somewhere. Too many young people think they're above all rules and regulations. The late "apology" from the Cosmo may be the resultant of checking out your channel and realizing that it is bad for their publicity. Even if you have only 50k subs at this time, many are watching your videos.
And I found you exactly because I checked videos about the Cosmo, and just happened on yours.
I like Ballys because it was the old MGM. I like to think of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis and Dean Martin roaming around the lobby.

I like the Bally’s I stayed here for my birthday weekend last year had a great time and I’m going back in May for memorial day weekend and I know I’m gonna have a fabulous time and The rooms are definitely decent and the location you can’t go wrong and the price can’t be beat
I recommend playing 10 cent keno throw a $20 in the morning and it will last you all day. I sit and have a coffee in the morning. Then discuss the day.

I was just there this past Super Bowl weekend. I was there by accident since I couldn’t get back to Cali because of a big accident on the I-15. Bally’s was my old school Casino when I started coming to LV 20 years ago. I love that they keep the rooms updated. Nothing crazy they just keep them up to date and clean. Keep up the good work with the Vlogs!

I like Bally's very small and quiet in the morning. When your there, play some 10 cent keno throw a $20 and that will last all day. I've come out ahead on it a few times. Sit at the Keno lounge in the morning have a coffee, then sit and discuss the days events.
They need to do more than apologize!

In this day and age, I love that some Las Vegas hotels, and hotels around the world too, ONLY allow you to to go your own floor. So a young person intent on causing trouble not only cannot get onto a floor, but if they have a room, and they're the only person on the elevator, the elevator will ONLY open on their room floor.

Bally's has some of the most spacious rooms on the Strip and an awesome view of the Bellagio.

Bally's was the first place I stayed at in LV. I loved it, and if I recall, it had a proper pool and amenities.
Helpful tip: The Rio is closed from Monday through Wednesday but will still allow you to make reservations through 3rd party booking sites. If you book the Rio they will bump you over to Bally's with your lower Rio Resort Fees AND FREE PARKING since you would have had that at the Rio.
I stayed at Bally's from June 20-23. It was my first time there and as a member of Caesars Rewards I got a great deal. Want to stay there again

Bally’s used to be my second home for years, I literally stayed there “a 1000 times”. Since re-opening, everything has changed for the bad. They suspended valet parking, so you have to park at Paris Garage which is quite remote, lots of long hallways to cruise plus the entire casino floor in order to check-in. Very exhausting. They also closed down one of the best Steak Houses on the Strip: BLT Steak, home of the famous Sterling Brunch. The remaining dining options are a bad Mexican place, a subpar Bucca di Beppo and a so-so Burger place with very limited items on the menu. Dining options at adjoining Paris are better though also limited. Bally’s discontinued room service so if you don’t want to walk olympic distances, your dining options consist of Grubhub or the Pizza place from the flyer they put underneath your door. Rooms at Bally’s are huge, nice equipped and newly renovated. Comfy beds and huge TV’s with generous lineup of channels and PPV movies. If you find a cheap room rate don’t forget the mandatory resort fee of $35 per night per room (waived for Caesars Rewards Diamond level and up) In-room Wifi is included in your resort fee.

$37? That’s a lot! I’m staying at Harrah’s now most of the time, also no more Valet Parking but walking distance from/to parking structure to check-in/elevators is not too bad. Rooms at Bally’s are much better than Harrah’s but Harrah’s does the job. Dining options are much better as well due to next-door Linq and Flamingo (Margaritaville).

Bally’s has the largest and recently remodeled rooms for a mid-tier property on the Strip. For room size alone, it’a 100sqft larger then Flamingo, Linq, Harrahs, NYNY, Luxor, Park MGM, etc

Great vlog ! I love Bally's. My first place I stayed in LV and it's still my go to hotel. Location mid-strip is perfect and they have some of the largest regular rooms in Vegas.

Started visiting vegas in 2017 and stayed at Bally’s 11 times in a row, always loved it and found something there new every time.
Interesting, I only stayed there once, back in 2008 and it was Ok but nothing special. Minimal shopping and food choices plus all of the slots are Bally's games (obviously) which cuts down the options. The location is the biggest selling point, plus it is pretty inexpensive but I would rather stay at Paris in that area.

Pompsie brings a cinematic style to Las Vegas casino and hotel reviews that really make his videos entertaining and fun to watch. His narration is calm and informative. I really enjoy watching his videos especially since I can’t go to Vegas right now.
Side note, I’m glad the Cosmo reached out and rectified the situation. What they did left a bad taste in my mouth, but I feel good about visiting their casino again.

Once spent a few hours waiting for my flight (or waiting to go to the airport) at that keno lounge, good drink service pre-covid for something you can spend almost no money playing.
Plus its probably the best place to stay if you plan on spending a lot of time at the Stage Door casino.
We stayed there about four times between 2005-2008 and glad to see the rooms renovated and updated. Great location and pretty cool that it's connected to Paris. We've done the Eiffel Tower and highly recommended!
Was just at Ballys last week. Also discovered that hidden floor completely by accident. From the casino floor, the only signs we saw were when you were almost to the escalators saying it was down stairs.
I usually stay at either the Cosmo or the Bellagio, but I wanted to do an inexpensive trip for once, so I stayed at Bally's. I was pleasantly surprised. The room wasn't fancy, but it was clean. What I loved most was that it was close to the part of the strip I love. I would definitely stay there again.
Congrats on getting an apology and getting access back into Cosmo! I discovered that arcade area a couple years ago when I was cutting through Bally's going back to Park MGM from my EDC shuttle. They had some cool crossbow Walking Dead games back then. Bally's looks pretty nice and the empty fridge is always appreciated as opposed to the price gouging mini-bar.

I so agree Mark. They are very overpriced (+ super high resort fees). There are other beautiful options for rooms. I got suites at other hotels cheaper.

Thanks for the Ballys video / I was trying to find a budget place for a Sat night and took your advice and found that they has a new Resort Room for a good price on a Sat which is usually pricey on the Strip / thanks for your tip it came in handy plus Ballys has a center strip location which is great / did you know your room had a refridge which is nice /

I still won't be staying at Cosmos. I've heard that they've treated a lot of people like crap and I doubt any of them got an apology. They obviously checked out your channel and decided it was to their benefit to apologize to you, especially with the current state of business right now

Just stayed at Bally's recently this month. Loved it! Spent a lot of time in the poker room and keno area haha. Would definitely stay again and again. It's also in the middle of the strip so it's easy to get anywhere you want to go!

I've been dealing with the tourist in LV for years. Ballys manages to keep a lot of people happy. They get a lot of repeat / loyal customers. They must be doing something right. (Good news about Cosmo)
Agree with you Pompsie. I would definitely stay there again. The pick up on Flamingo Road is excellent for getting Uber. I believe the reason for the room scan is to keep the riff riff down.
