Prayers for all who was effected in the flood. I live in the Florida panhandle where we got hit by Hurricane Michael in 2018 and I absolutely know how it feels to lose everything. And as the man said helping people clean up and showing your love and caring about others meant more to me than any amount of money.. love and prayers for y’all in Kentucky
Yes. I have found that a living heart and dirty hands have been one of the largest contributions through all of this. We've been given so much. We've been so blessed. God has really been seen through all of this.
We took a u-haul truck full of supply’s food and toilet paper, bottled water up there a week ago. Terrible how many got wiped out!

I have rode a motorcycle through eastern Kentucky several times.Had people tell me their life stories and then ask me to stay for supper.Truly the greatest and most gracious people I have ever met.GOD BLESS THE PEOPLE OF EASTERN KENTUCKY.

I live in eastern ky too. Not in whitesburg but I’m close. I didn’t get very bad affected by the flood but my heart goes out to everyone. Us people have so much Jesus in us that even in tragedies like this we can still be happy and laugh about things. Keeping everybody in our prayers

I live in south eastern Ky, we were hit hard. The last month has literally tore me apart. It's so sad to see all the destruction. We were lucky but much of my family lost their homes and everything. It was a terrifying thing to experience.

@@WarriorCall Prayers! My family is safe and our home is still standing, I'm beyond blessed for that reason. But so many more people are not as fortunate. There is a website where people can donate to help. Type in Eastern Kentucky Flood relief fund and you should be able to find it. Thank you for asking.

When I heard about the flood I was thinking about KG and all those people. I was so sad. I prayed about the flood. And all these people are sending water bottles, and food, house supplies. All these things, God is good. Amen

I work for a large company in eastern KY and we had several employee affected by these floods......several lost everything. My heart goes out to all these people who were affected! There’s still a lot of people without water I just feel horrible for these people.
Wish I would've know you were here filming. That "subdivision," is actually where I've been working for the past few weeks tearing down houses. It's going to take a lot for us to get back to normal, but we'll get there! #ekystrong
Thank you for coming to help! Also thank you for getting video of this. I live in Whitesburg. We are blessed we didn’t lose anything besides our front yard. From our front steps out all slipped & is now washed out. It is devastating! Our people need all the help they can get. The school you showed at the first is my sons school. It was completely under water. No one would of ever imagined we would have a flood like this. We are lucky we got power back within two days. We were without running water for 3 weeks. There is still people without power & water to this day! Thank you to you & your church family it really means a lot to each & every person! ❤️🙏

I live about 5 minutes down the rode from the trailer at 2.10 and fished that river many of times,it’s crazy driving up/down 7 and seeing all houses the flood destroyed.

Last thing my grandma told me before she passed away was, "no matter how big of a storm the sun will always rise and dry away the rain." Keep God in your hearts and you will make it.
I live in ky, Same thing happened to us when a tornado destroyed our town. A lot of help the 1st week.. But the weeks following when we really needed the help, There wasn't too much around.

I live here, we weren't hit as badly, I'm thankful for that. I've family here that has lost everything, it feels as if the "disaster relief" has already abandoned so many. I've lived as far as Toronto Canada, Louisville, and this place just always seems to call me home. It is the poorest region I've ever seen, and these people surely need help. So many families are homeless, a lot with little children. I'm rich by no means, I've given what I have to give. I've helped where I can help, I've prayed, and will continue praying. Where people fall short in money, they thrive with personality, and hope here. This is my old Kentucky home.
Oh Kendall. I'm so sorry for the people effected. I'm so glad you are okay. I was worried. Praying to our father God that it will all end as ok as it can. Though it's hard, we know its God's plan.

I live there and I was luckily not hit by it but 5 minutes were I like the store and my P.O. Box and the whole building was ruined and it was so heart booking now I have to drive 15 minutes to go to the store and everything

we are from over in perry county and the devastation was all around us ,thankfully we were un affected personally but so many people around us were devastated, lost everything some lost their lives. Thanks for the work you and your church put in helping the people of our area. The support for this area has been overwelming. I have actually heard that the goverment agencies in the area have said they have never been to an area of a natural disaster where the people have stuck together and helped each other so much in a time such as this. #EastKYStrong

Mathis happened in Calgary Alberta a few years back… and I know first hand what these people are going through..
I know the community will always come together in times of need, and may god bless everyone who is affected, or is helping the affected people.

Exactly, god made the weather but he doesn’t control it. Just like he made humans but don’t control them.

Amen sir. God gave the earth to mankind... makind sinned and it became a fallen earth. The weather is not how God originally designed it. John 10:10 "The thief (devil) comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I (Jesus) have come that they might have abundant life."

Just because he knows everything doesn't mean he controls everything. Mankind has a part to play. God's not a puppet master.

Well. That's hard for people to accept. This was my house in the video. And I have been a Christian for 31 years. But what we have to know is that according to Romans 8:28. All things are working for the good of those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. So though it is sad in the beginning. The end will be greater than the beginning. God bless you

It’s crazy how fast this still happens within an hour and a half that man’s home was being flooded. As someone in Florida, this is so sad to see the absolute devastation these people are going through. They deserve more help

I feel for these people. They lose what little they have and yet are still up and at em' trying to get back to normal and happy to do it. There is something we can all learn from that.

I live in the Lexington area, and seeing this part of the state a month later is really sad. We have had a ton of rain in central Kentucky, but thankfully nothing like this happened here. I hope these people can return to some normalcy and not have to leave their homes for good 😥
I keep waiting to see Tents with BUILDING SUPPLIES, LUMBER, NAILS, SHINGLES, HAMMERS, SKILL SAWS, HOUSE WRAP ETC.
That's probably what we need now more than anything. It's gonna take a while to rebuild. That's my home that was swept away. FEMA helped us some. We will be able to start over. But many people have to try to completely remodel their homes. Without the funds to be able to do so
I would never have guessed Kentucky would have a flood but its is so amazing to see a community band together and help one another with smiles and laughs to better a bad situation and i think this will be a more positive experience then a negative one for that town but hopefully they can rebuild quickly and hope the school can start without delays

I work for a company that’s currently dealing with all the flooded vehicles and campers, words can’t describe how bad it is
Water is an amazing thing. We delt with the same thing in 2016 here in Louisiana. We have to deal with the weather every year down here. Especially hurricanes But when something like this happens this is when you see how people really are
