De mémoire, cette auto à été développé durant l'année 1986 et devait remplacée la DELTA S4 pour la saison 1987. Projet avorté suite à l'accident de TOIVONEN au tour de corse 1986. La technique de la caisse autoporteuse était deux demi coque en carbon kevlar assemblées collées par l'axe central. La motorisation, un 4 cylindres deux litres développant 800cv avec deux turbo.
J'ai 1 000 000 de viewers sur ma chaine youtube J'ai vu beaucoup de vidéos + ou moins bien sur la toile Celle ci est sans hésiter une des rare qui me fout les larmes aux yeux d'émotion Car je l'avais la revue "Quattroruote" qui en parlait en 1987...... Bravo Beppe Volta !

Visto che FGA ha lasciato andare Lancia alla deriva (che vergogna, presentare un nuovo modello Delta e non farne una versione Integrale sport, con po' po' di motori twinAirTurbo oggi a disposizione come il 1750, giustamente qualcuno ha pensato bene di tirar fuori qualche vecchia gloria. Ben fatto!
not quite the s4 was homologated for group b competition this prototype was built to meet a proposed group s specification the main difference being 200 hundred road going examples of your group b monster had to be produced to compete in group b. for group s however 20! a whole fuck tonne of cash and many man hours were still to be spent on this car had the class not been scraped

Quando nei primi anni 80 provavano la delta nella mandria io lì sentivo. Pensavo addirittura che ci fossero gli aerei.
