Okay, followup to my last post. I received my Major Fade System and I am so impressed. All three have been great for my sensitive skin and well worth the money. The mask I am using once a week for now. Eventually I hope to increase to twice a week. It is strong but that's what I wanted. Thank you Dr. Idriss! Congratulations on a fantastic fade system. All of your hard work paid off for your patients.

Thank you for this video demonstrating how to use your products especially the Flash Mask. The tip about not rubbing in the mask made it very helpful since my skin is very sensitive. So happy for you and us to be blessed with these products because they are that good!
I started my routine last night with your products. First impression : No burning sensation, just slightly tingling, feels super creamy and nice on the skin, after washing off my skin didn’t feel dry at all which happened with other exfoliant , the Hyper serum slides smoothly on your skin, no stickiness , doesn’t feel heavy at all, very smooth and pleasant. The final step , Active seal, same , very pleasant, not heavy or sticky , I added the Cicaplast balm B5 which I do no matter what because I have dry skin and it does help to lock in all the goodies I just put on. I repeated the routine this morning without the exfoliant and so far I am very very happy. I know i’ve only use it for two days …. Maybe I am biased … 😁… but I have follow this Channel for a while and you have helped me to get my skin where I always wanted. Nothing but love for you and your products. Congratulations!!!!!!

Price is pretty decent,nice size so you are getting enough product for your money, and the Hyper Serum comes with an extra refill.
I feel the prices are quite fair based on quality and quantity of products. I've paid much more for a similar routine that I don't trust as much as Dr. Idriss.
I received my Major Fade Hyper Serum last week and was so excited to try it. My daughter, who has melasma, tried to order during the pre-sale but was too late before it sold out. She was so upset. She is a new mom, which seems to have caused her melasma to worsen. I gave her my order so she wouldn't have to wait, and she was so happy, which made me happy!!!

I started the routine Thursday it definitely is tingling. I think I'll do Tuesday. Thursday & Saturday for the mask. I did 7 minutes Thursday will try 10 today. Everything's has a nice feel to it. Love the packaging too. I find it very relaxing and soothing. I'll keep you posted.

I do have a dermatologist and he is on TH-cam as well but I get more information and how to from you. I have melasma and it’s heartbreaking and you feel desperate. My dermatologist gave me tretinion and triluma. And said if this doesn’t work for you there is nothing else I can do. I was crushed. I learned on this channel there are other products you can use for melasma with my prescription. So thankful you are on youtube and you really want to help people. Personally I’m so glad there is no retinol in your products. I have developed an “allergy” to retinol and argireline, used separately not together. My eyes puff up and get red and scaly. Even if I put petroleum jelly around my eyes to protect them.

My mother just got diagnosed and I’ve been trying to help her as much as I can recommending sunscreens and UV protection clothing. I never see products from The Ordinary recommended, and a lot of them are really good. I use the azelaic acid from The Ordinary and it does miracles for my rosacea.

Good morning!! Love your videos! I always refer to your videos when my young adult daughters ask me skin questions. “Let’s go to the expert” I always say.
I’ve always been told not to use Vit.C and tretinoin together. So on the nights I use tretinoin I skip vitamin C. Also are you thinking about having a sample or travel size for your peel for those of us that are sensitive and wanna try the 15% glycolic acid first before we dive into the bigger purchase?

You did a video a while ago discussing Tyrosinase inhibitors at your recommended % and pH for maximum efficacy. Do you three products provide the active ingredients at those? Hi Dr. Idriss! I received my products and LOVE THEM! I just had a question regarding how to incorporate the use of benzoyl peroxide/tretinoin into the routine as the moisturizer has vitamin c and I’ve read it’s not meant to be combined with it? 🤔😕would love to know what you recommend!
If I were you I would use that moisturizer during daytime under a sunscreen and use another moisturizer during night instead. Other brightening ingredients, that I know of, that can be used with tretinoin are niacinamide and licorice root extract. Hope that helps.
She says in this video to use your prescriptions before the serum. For Tretinoin she said to use on non mask days.
She’s said in a previous video that there’s no counter indications for using tretinoin with vitamin C

Thank you so much for not putting any retinol in your products. I love prescription tretinoin myself and avoid products with retinol as a result. And retinol is too strong for many. I live in Paris so your products are not available here yet. Luckily I have sisters who will be visiting so I am arranging for them to bring me some Major Fade. I would also, as commented by someone else, love a video on applying products to damp versus dry skin, misting between layers, waiting, etc.. Thanks and congratulations on your product. I am looking forward to trying it.

Hello Dr. Idriss! How would you recommend using Major Fade with other ingredients? On the nights when no mask is being used, how to incorporate retinols or hydroquinone or can I wash my face with benzoyl peroxide? I’m confused with how to use Major Fade Serum and Moisturizer products with these and you only mentioned Azelaic acid :)

Hey Dr Idriss, I just ordered my kit. Soooo, excited to get it. I do have a question...if I use the system strictly as a nighttime routine will it still be effective?
I have use the Major Fade moisturizer the past 2 night & omg it is so yummy!! It feels like pudding, applied very easily, and feels so good on the skin!! I am excited to use the flash mask today for the first time as I have very dry skin so only use acid masks 1-2x weekly. 💜
Last year I ordered 16 bamboo cotton rounds....they even came w/their own zipper mesh bag to put them in so they can be tossed in the washer. I think they're great ! No more throw-away pads for me.

Hi ya Dr Idriss - I'd love a video on damp vs dry skin application. I've seen some people advocate for applying serums, moisturisers etc on damp skin, but vit C, Tret etc on dry skin. I see that you pat your skin dry after cleansing. Is there any benefit to e.g.applying an active then waiting 10-15 mins, THEN water-misting and going in with humectants, emollients & occlusives? Or is that just unnecessary?

So excited! Been using about four days/nights. I know you said retinol before the serum. Would that be the same for A313? Wasn’t sure bc of the A313 seems it would block absorption of the serum and C cream.

I just use salicylic acid serum and niacinamide serum and moisturizer and lip balm

I think I messed up with my skin barrier about a week ago, and I have been using Aveeno Oat calm + restore line. It has helped a lot, but ai received my Pillowtalk derm set a few days ago and I am dying to try them.
So my question is,
How long would you recommend me to keep it easy on my skin before introducing new products?
I guessed that I screwed my skin barrier when it started to burn followed by peeling.
