    Love the upgrade, but I'm concerned about how it's blocking the radiator. Can the radiator still properly do it's job with this setup? And is there enough space to use this oil cooler with the larger Mishimoto radiator?

      Hey Christopher! We design all of our parts to function together, seamlessly. If you're interested in our R&D process, I've included a link here to the full category archives for the R&D on all things Fiesta ST at Mishimoto!

    On your Engineering Report write-up for this you mention that you removed the active grille shutters for the installation of this oil cooler. Did you skip that in the video? Does the Fiesta ST come with active grille shutters?

      Hey Franco, I believe you're confusing this with the R&D write up on our Focus ST?

      Here is the engineering report I am talking about: cdn.mishimoto.com/media/productpdf/MMOC-FIST-14_EngineeringReport.pdf
      "Since reducing the size of the current heat exchangers wasn't an option, the active grille shutters were removed to accommodate the new oil cooler"

      @mishimoto  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Franco, thanks for pointing this out. This is an error in the engineering report and we should have the updated version in its place soon. To clarify, there are no shutters on the ST, so no need to remove! :)

    So I just put on my oil cooler today! it looks awesome and the test drive went smoothly. kinda nervous on how much coolant its drinking though...and is it suppose to sound like a winding noise when I press on the accelerator?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Justin Gutierrez . If installed properly, this unit would not cause any loss of coolant. Just be sure to refill and bleed the system after your done with the installation. If your vehicle is making a strange noise after installation, please send a quick video to our customer service team at support@mishimoto.com . We'd be happy to help out :)

      We unfortunately do not have a shop ourselves in California. You may be able to find a local installer using our store locator: www.mishimoto.com/storelocator/

    Theoretically this should fit on any Ford equipped with the 1.6 right?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Bradley. In theory, this should work with any 1.6L Ford. I'd just want to double check that both the vehicle in question and the Fiesta ST use the same oil filter. The only issue I can see you running into would be if the 1.6 your trying to install on requires a different sandwich plate and adapter.

      Mishimoto Automotive alright,I'll definitely check it out first. Thanks!

      Mishimoto Automotive for your information. The part numbers for the intercooler and oil cooler for a fiesta st are the same as the 1.6 fusion.

      Hey Bradley. Thanks for looking into this. With that being said, I'd be fairly confident this will be capable of functioning on your vehicle. It may require some minimal modification, but it sounds like the system itself will be cross-compatible.
