The obsidian platform spawns randomly in the end dimension usually in the end island or float near the end island. However it won’t spawn higher than the top surface of the island, this is so you never spawn near the top or above an obsidian pillar.

At 7:47 he's kinda wrong 3 golems mean is rare to drop 5 and 5 iron and 2 golems dead and then the 1 golem will drop 3 but the guy instead get 12 so he made it up I hope this helps at 7:47 luney
