Exactly. Especially when you consider the fact that the game has one button blasts like Heat Smash and Heat Bursts, moves that are rewarding on hit and on block for some reason and the only counter play is to step them yet they will randomly track you.
The thing is, it's just certain characters that still have this. I don't really understand their logic. Homing already is in the game, you can have some moves only track one side, but sneak 4 on paper should be stepped right, and it still tracks like that. Makes no sense
Tracking in this game is way weaker than in Tekken 7, you're talking nonsense. Try playing Tekken 7 and step half the strings/moves in that game. Tekken 8 movement is way better, only backdash is nerfed and not for all characters.

I had a privilege to fight Dombili on stage at UFA last weekend (first stage match for me.) He completely walked over me first game, but i got some momentum in the second game by going completely ungabunga but still lost due too being nerfed by stress and doing too many risky moves. He is incredibly skilled player, and i wish i can fight him again.
The whole eSports retiring age is also becoming way less common, Faker is 28 by now and overall players are becoming older and older as people figure out reaction time doesn't really decrease as much as we tought and experience and mental is way more important
Knowing tekken players are older makes me hopeful to get into the scene. but seeing issues with converters with the PS5 while I use a XBSeries controller makes it harder for me to know how I will fair even after practicing to a high degree.

The tracking in this game needs adjustment. Especially 2nd and 3rd hits should never turn 90° out of nowhere. It seens like you always get clipped.

The problem with ps5 controller are the sense L2 and R2 not always trigger, mostly during combo. I experience it on my laptop with wired controller.
