- I know I've done Leo's solo already, but I wanted to revisit it and do it over in my current style, as well as do Christian Scott's dope trumpet solo.

Leo is just freaking out in the background during Christian’s part
he's getting hype man
He’s so skitz fucking hell. He’s not paying attention to anything Christian’s playing
Boob Man you don’t know that for sure my broski
Cause he's actually able to play jazz. Christian can I mean. I'm no fan of leo p though
GRiM2.0 why? Leo’s part was more difficult than the other person
Piccolo:i can play high notes
bari-sax:hold my beer
Hold my cocaine*
Obsessed With Cooperstown very *VERY* true
It’s a B-trumpet
@@zadigolindecifrabileironia5932 i may be late, just maybe but no, no and no. do u know what a piccolo is lmao. a tiny flute which is higher than that one dude at the bar.
"switch to tea kettle" xD Made my day!
Lol
Edit: wait, how dafuq you play a tea kettle?
LOL me too tubastone
“While being possessed by Dizzy”
I don’t get what that means I may be uncultured but does it mean as dizzie the trumpet jazz player? Idk
@@iandwyer8070 yeah it's referencing dizzy gillespie
Dizzy Gillespie’s trumpet was bent upwards like his in the video.
@@fantasygd5983 And the blowing out of the the cheeks
@@steelbase7803 That was actually a terrible condition with his cheeks. But for his trumpet and one day it got bent. He played it and the sound was so unique he had a custom trumpet made purposely bent
0:50 when you know he’s cracked
Man, this trumpets making me feel dizzy
Braingears nice one 😂
Groan.
Daniel Congleton moan ;)
Nice
@@cm4n63 that sounds unintentionally creepy
That trumpet player is killing it! I love that solo!
Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah
I'm glad to see a trumpet solo that isn't comprised of playing the highest notes possible and playing as fast as possible
i will never get tired of this solo
Same
I listen to it damn near every day.
Same, its freakin crazy. Hope one day I ll get at least 10% of his talent
Which one? The trumpet solo or the saxophone solo?
*Descend into madness*
*Switch to tea kettle*
*angrily* is also one of them
0:53 leo feeling slightly excited from his extra line of cocaine
1:52 I swear to God that second note is just someone saying "baow" into a hidden microphone somewhere
I want to be like Leo P. Someday. He’s such a great musician!
*sees line of cocaine*
Oh sweet!
VeryHard same here
Ah, a brother in dong! Imagine a roomful of people like leo jamming
Check out Adam Rapa playing Struttin with some barbecue
Just pull a Charlie parker
VeryHard he's more like a one trick pony tbh
Such a full sound so damn high. Doesn’t even sound like a trumpet INSANE
1:48 is the most amazingly complex run of both of these solos. Alot of the solos are blues-y, which sounds great but can be really simple sometimes. This run really threw me off guard (and the amount of cocaine he's on)
And he sets it up so perfectly with those two lines that kind of leave the blues vocab
It’s more or less chromatically descending diminished arpeggios if I’m not mistaken.
it's just descending dim. triads lol
@@sanyuyuzuru3460 sounds great though imo
@Hemanth kamana leo P's phrasing and transitions in this solo was truly phenomenal. I think thats the realest language can get
ThAt's A sTrAnGe TrOmBoNe
Leo.exe has crashed
Awesome work! I love following the music as they play and then trying to learn it. Really helps my playing ability
George Woolley nice seeing you here too 😂
Jorge Mendoza is this a George meeting?
Leo P puts on such an amazing performance, he is and will remain will be legandary.
I’ve probably come back to this video like 20 times, and every time it’s been for Leo P’s part. Man just gets down.
It's insane that you do these by ear, keep up the awesome work
Probably one of the best solos I've ever listened to
Awesome trumpeter
And Christian Scott once again went beast mode
The way Leo p makes his bari sax sing like that is so musical and so impressive
Thank you so muchhhhhh! I’ve been wanting to learn Leo’s solo!!!!! You have no idea how great this is to look at!
Leo_P.exe has crashed. XD
Excelent work!
Who knew bari sax could be so powerful. He crashed.
By far my favorite performance ever of moanin.
this transcription is beautiful
"switch to tea kettle"
Three words: Car Alarm PLEASE
He did it hours after that song was released
th-cam.com/video/lCX7UkO6Ygw/w-d-xo.html
1:30 and 1:31
1:18 Just look how happy christian looks
He’s a professional watching another professional. :)
Holy shit. You actually transcribed both solos. This is fucking amazing.
leo went through more emotions in one minute than pregnant women do in nine months and it was absolutely beautiful
Soo beautiful. I play the trumpet in the band of my city in Italy
*cease rotation* 😂😂
Colin Nolan *switch to tea kettle*
So I just wanted to find a cool song to practice with my alto, and I cam across this...Gorgeous MONSTROSITY! This one song made me quit alto...
AND BUY A FLIPPIN BARI!!!!
Me too. This song was literally a large factor in me switching to bari. Now I'm a bari boi through and through.
@@maxwellmckinley637 its so fucking nice to play bari, it just feels powerful and you have the ability to make the snare drums rattle from across the room
@@deathedell215 For real dude. Have some brass players talking shit and then blast just as loud as they can in their fave. And the way it rattles your own head is soothing.
@@maxwellmckinley637 hell yeah
Yeah Leo does that to you
I was already hating on Leo P by how showy he seemed to be, but when he started playing...damn, you gotta respect the skills.
@Hemanth kamana What do you mean lmao
@Hemanth kamana dude can you shut the fuck up and enjoy
@Hemanth kamana That's why he's a really popular bari popular. There are a lot of talented bari sax players out there but Leps showmanship makes him stand out
Hemanth kamana it’s a live show. People want to be entertained. Not bored with technical rightness. No one gives a shit about music theory. They just want it to sound awesome and get feet moving. And Leo does that.
@Hemanth kamana why so elitist? About jazz of all things. Jazz. The form that inherently is unconventional and you're paradoxically being a fuddy-duddy about it. Perfect.
I just LOOOOOOOOOVE WHAT YOU DO !!fantastic work
Bless your soul for doing this
God what I'd give for the whole thing lol
I'm still dying to try these solos
Love your transcriptions so much
Those dynamic markings are brilliant
1:29 is my favorite part

Leo makes that thing scream👌🔥
Leo p is such a great bari player I love to watch him perform
Really nice transcription man I like the effort good job man!
1:47 "decent into madness"
Conheci neste momento esse canal e já estou apaixonado , Imagino como deve dar trabalho escrever e ainda editar os vídeos .
Parabéns 👏👏👏👏
After trying to learn the trumpet I have new found respect as a clarinet player for trumpets
Incredible!
0:47 when the crack kicks in
Thank you for the vídeo man, you are amazing!
LEO_P.EXE HAS CRASHED I'M DEAD
Leo shouldn’t be fucking around during another musicians solo. He knew Christian Scott is the better musician.
holy hell that was an amazing job.
Nice chops...both players...and great transcription....thanks
0:47 charles mingus is entering leos body
Charles Mingus is a bass player
@@diegobustamante556 LMFAO
Diego Bustamante are you serious man?
If I could describe this in one word it would be Awesome
*switch to tea kettle*
Loving Leo's energy
Amazing work my friend
This be playing in Olive Garden Ong 💀 (but fr tho they play really good)
That sound sooo nice
Greatest commentaries
bro...i can't even explain how hard it is to play those high notes..
I love how the altissimo squeals are the only thing that plant him on the stage like a tree
"switch to tea kettle" god damm I love your comments hahahaha
1:29 Gives me the Ronnie Cuber vibe on these low A's
does someone know the trumpet his playing
Damn Leo is even more impressive while playing jazz!!
1:03
AMAZING job.
The "tea kettle" got me at the end :D
What a showman.
Lovely transcription!
I have literally watched this over 40 times now shit that solo is good
Nice job transcribing! Now me and my trumpet friend can play together!
You gotts do the dance moves too tho
1:47 *descend into madness*
Hey, love your work! Could you please do a transcription of the new too many zooz song car alarm?
0:47 when the special needs kid hears the fire alarm and thinks it's music
Underrated comment
1:49 I imagine ready some music and you see D E S E N D I N T O M A D N E S S
"switch to tea kettle" I died.
the end of the world starts at 1:04
Wish there was more
Switch to tea kettle had me in tears lol
“Leo P.exe has crashed” had me in stitches
Damn some high notes for that trumpet
Can you make a transcription of TNT by too many zooz please?
literally every part of leo's solo was awesome
The little notes on the side for the articulation is hilarious
Would Leo's solo be improvised or written?
Common man, you know jazz solos are improvised on the spot
How about Leo?
This solo is too complex to be improvised. Many great musicians right out solos before performances to avoid crashing or choking. And with all the performing he is doing, playing with one hand, spinning around, it gets to be too much to be improv. Probably written.
Jack Is God. He might’ve done a bit of planning but there is no way in hell he was reading sheet music.
This coming from a fellow jazz musician ;)
@@connorwilde1471 im not saying he was reading from the sheet, but it was probably written and memorized. Also a jazz musician ;)
音が高く聞こえない
不思議!!
Well done
Absolutely insane ... BUT please
does anyone know how this score is added to the video ?
0:46
That pink guy tho
Subtle but extremely nice memes
