The joker if he went to a jazz club instead of a vat of acid
holy shit yeah lmao
There was a comment in the original video going “ introducing the newest Batman villain.”
And a reply that went
“The *sax offender* “
@@Hammerter Lol.
Theres an acid jazz joke somewhere in there but im not witty enough for it.
Its proven god listens to jazz therefore confirming it as the best genre of music
Honestly, this guy could probably hold his breath underwater for 47 minutes on a bad day.
you ment 47 hours right?
I mean, he's breathing every 5 seconds lol
@@DTux5249 Takes a lot of air to play bari sax though, especially on those honking notes.
@@craaazyboy5231 it does lol that's why he has to breath XD
Hes circular breathing a bunch
I can't tell if he did a couple lines backstage beforehand or if he's just super pumped for this performance
both
@@conarr3639 I came to say this. Why must it be an either or :P
i think that’s just what he’s like
Why not zoidberg?
he's super pumped for _every_ performance
"He just walked on stage and started playing. None of us dared to stop him."
That's now cannon😂😂😂
This guy put all his skill points in accuracy and stamina
@Angus Smith YESSSIRRR
charisma too.
Yeah. He also has advantage on performance checks.

The fact that this guy can play this already insane piece of music while doing these crazy moves is amazing
and it’s a barri that thing is HEAVY
@@SeñorCastillo-v2u Can't wait for him to do it on a Contrabass Saxophone XD
You know what's doing on his sax is not so difficult
@@lau4871 I can't really tell how difficult or not it may be considering I have no experience with a saxophone, but regardless even if it isn't as impressive as it seems, I enjoy it none the less.
This is not the sort of thing musicians say to or about other musicians. There is nothing constructive whatsoever about trying to diminish his performance based on your personal belief that this is not a difficult piece of music. We are lucky to have people like Leo in the world willing to do performance art for our enjoyment. Keep your negativity to yourself.
1:16 My food in the microwave
XD
Russell Romine yes
XD XD XD
🤣
I genuinely laughed at this lol
Little known fact about this performance: The footwork is 100% critical to getting the sound right.
No comments disputing this, because this is an entirely factual statement
the sound actually comes from the feet not the bell
Especially the maximum effort in the thrusting. Truly a beautiful sound
all of the percussion that you hear in this piece of music comes solely from leo's feet
They say he got secret shoes with reeds in them from Russia.
The fact that his tone is so amazing while jumping and dancing is incredible, most people that march bari in marching band dont even have a clear tone.
Half the people playing bari in a chair don’t have true clear tone
As a bari player, I can confirm this is 100% factual, bari players are goated or garbage, no in between
@@kaiblevins3989 as another bari player, for jazz band, marching band, and concert band, I can confirm
i am a bari player and i am of the garbage tone kind
I think it's because people who march bari have hundreds of hours of practice playing sitting down posture. This dude is a busker, all of what he's played was on the street, standing and dancing around like this.
Everyone: oh a bunch of classical instruments, this will be nice
Leo: BARI GO BURRRRRRRR
More like bari go SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL
ye
Its called an overtone glissando
@@harrietfaulknier1636 ok Ms. I just watched a better sax vid
and this, is a perfect example of a yt comment section, we have the original comment who fell victim to these people, the guy who tries to be funny by changing the joke, the illiterate person who cant even say yeah, the know-it-all who no one likes, and the person who calls out the former
What tempo are we going to play this in?

“Shit were robbing Ace today? I got a jazz club performance”
I don't know. I think be one of the better Lazytown episodes. I mean don't need to do any speaking. Let the instrrment do all the talking. Oh and his moves would be fire.
this video was what introduced me to the baritone saxophone. 6 years later, it's senior year and I'm playing Moanin' with the jazz band for our school's biggest concert.
That’s awesome!! I’m seeing this video for the first time today and I can see why it inspired you! Keep playing!!! 👍🏻
Can you upload a video or tell me the arrangement name?
Good luck! Have fun and do your best!!!!
That's really cool. Is there a woodwind orchestra arrangement somewhere? Id love to play it with the orchestra I'm with

Yup
Christian Scott writes some really phenomenal music
I met him this summer
it's like reading subtitles, i love this format
I knew this was impressive, but I didn't really get how difficult until I started playing bari (from alto)
How is the switch to bari from alto I'm getting a bari soon and I play alto so any tips?
@@deadpixels7573 hey i recently switched from alto to bari as well, just know you gotta use a lot more air and have a wider embouchure and take in more mouthpiece 👍🏽 also low notes take quite a bit of air but they’re so fun to play lol
I switched to Bari from Clarinet.

Adriel Verçosa yea the crack is just kicking in
no, he's being forced to contain his immense power completely for the fairness of the show
I thought he was going to swallow his reed at that point😂
he looks like a minecraft pickaxe
His control of altissimo range is absolutely insane
In the opening bars of Moanin' , I was thinking "This tempo.. oh no.... you're gonna spoil the tune.... and ruin the experience of having a pop orchestra (big big band)"... But two minutes into the performance I had completely changed my mind. This performance will be shown for many, many years..... 3:43 Jules Buckley points to trumpet.. so good..... 6:16 is the bomb

Why do I hear boss music
The 250lb linebacker bari player at my school is the guy who gives you the quest
yeah Leo P is incredible but I don't think that drummer is getting nearly enough credit

@@goldensea03idk51 th-cam.com/video/bDf4O0-XV7I/w-d-xo.html Leo himself explaining
He said in an interview "we probably run through it once" so I think the drummer is mostly following leo with some idea of what he's going to do.
Actually, it is very normal for drummers to adlib because it adds more flavor.
Sometimes drummers literally get criticized in jazz bands by judges for not adlibbing.
I keep finding myself coming back to this. It's that good.

I don’t care what anyone says, no one and I mean no on in the entirety of the universes existence enjoys something like Leo P
i barely play a 3 bar whole note on a trombone and this guy playing a baritone sax (which requires more air) is dancing around and playing 4rth octave note is insane! absolute ridiculous. speechless
What’s crazy is that during his big jumps he takes the mouthpiece out of his mouth, so he very often completely resets his Embouchure and still plays like crazy
What's crazier is that he's jumping whilst playing and your commenting on his jumping technique whilst playing 🤣 like it's a perfectly regular thing to do. when has this ever happened before?
I still keep coming back for more. If anyone wants to best Leo, they'll need yo be playing bass whilst performing with the cirque de soleil 🤣
なんでめちゃくちゃ重いバリサクを持ってそこまで暴れ回れるんだ…?凄すぎて言葉が出ない

I've been playing saxophone for about almost 5 years now, and it's still super hard to get to most of those notes, this man is amazing, especially to be playing the Baritone sax. Like dang. Unfortunately my band teacher won't let me play baritone, so I'm stuck on Alto.

Maybe 30 or 40. Or 100, or 1000. It’s that good
