FINALLY!!!! A perfect crack recipe that explains things properly! For instance, let the caramel come to a ROLLING BOIL and then let it ROLL for three minutes, stirring constantly. This little step makes all the difference and I watched tons of recipes on this recipe and not one mentioned this till Renee!!! Thank you!!!! Now my crack won’t taste grainy because the caramel didn’t get cooked long enough. And thanks to your lovely daughter also!! Merry Christmas, y’all!!!
Have you ever had CRACK? I honestly am a CRACK ADDICT!! LOL This is the most satisfying addicting sweet treat I've ever had. Is this something you would make?
I made this Christmas Crack, I didn't know it before. My family loves it, it's so crunchy! Thank you for the recipe, now we are Christmas Crack addicts, too!
Lordy I hope that doggie had ChisCrack too. Choc . . . isn't what it's made out to be. I mean his own square not just a crumb. Wellll some one has to be the voice for the dog. Mom pls I want a Christmas crack it smells good in here Mom and everybody's crunching, one of my favorite things to do. Woof woof etc...
Little ears sticking up with adorable white fur face at Randy's side. Well we give an 18 year old doggo sweets and chocolate, definitely not a lot of chocolate because you hear so many opinions and doctors jump right on board but when I was a child our dogs ate everything, all these problems that exist now I think it's because people don't feed their animals variety of foods that they should be in order to stay healthy, they're living beings they got to eat real food like people do too. I've bought your ingredients and we'll be making soon. Thank you {your 💫 family 🍎}
Hi Renee, just finished watching the video and it looks yummy! One question, how do you store it if you want to make ahead and give as gift at a later date. How long does it keep? I want to try and make it this xmas. TIA
I'd never made it before...and it turned out delicious! The recipe is nowhere NEAR what I typically make..ever lol! And may I caution first time makers to be careful as you remove the baking sheet from the oven....my crackers, yes my crackers slid and ended up in a jumbled mess lol. It may not be pretty but it tastes myTfine! THANKS for the recipe!! 💚🎄💚
Update....I succumbed, and ate the entire batch over the course of the last five days! Tonight, I made two new batches, to give as Christmas goodies, which was actually what that FIRST batch was supposed to be for, lol. This time I used Club Mini Crackers, topped with Scharffen Berger Dark Chocolate, some chopped Himalayan Pink Salt, plus toasted walnuts, pine nuts, cashews, coconut and crushed candy cane! All the nuts are very finely chopped, so they look like a sugar..and the crushed candy canes were left a bit larger, so you can see the red and white pattern. THE TASTE IS GLORIOUS! Well, yes I had to taste for...quality control!!! But I promise to not devour, amen! THANK YOU for changing my life @welcome to my curls! 🌲🎁💐 And Merry Christmas! 🌹
You may be talking about ranch crackers? If so, I haven't made them in a while but I remember off the top of my head. You use however many crackers will fit on a large cookie sheet. Crackers 1 package of dry ranch dressing 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 TBSP. Red pepper flakes Put all ingredients into a gallon size zipper bag. Toss until all the crackers are coated. Line crackers on cookie sheet and bake at 350. I'm not sure how long to bake, I want to say twenty or thirty minutes. I just bake until they start to brown and the oil is absorbed into the crackers. You'll need to toss them around at about ten minutes. Store in air tight container if you can stay out of them long enough lol. Side note... I use a large bag of the oyster crackers but I have ate it on saltines at Christmas parties that other people have made. The recipe is the same for either crackers you want to use. It seems to me like the spices get mixed better on the little oyster crackers, it wants to clump up on the saltines. Plus the little oyster crackers you can just reach in the bowl for a perfect bite sized amount. I hope this is the recipe you are talking about. If you've never bought oyster crackers they are tiny little octagon shaped crackers about the size of a dime and come in a clear package the same as a bag of egg noodles.

I never found the full recipe
My caramel ran under the crackers and they stuck to the foil! I had to throw them away 🙁
Uh oh! Did you spray the foil before laying down the crackers? If so, you should have still been able to pop the crackers off and enjoy 🤪
My mom makes something similar.. she won’t give me reviie
