    On the strix b450-i, the rear m.2 shares with the pcie x16. When you use the rear m.2, the pcie becomes x8, so your GPU is running on x8 now, not x16. It's mentioned in the manual.

    • @Pokanimal
      @Pokanimal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Yes good point! This is true but based on the benchmarks it didn't really make a difference in performance, something to keep in mind though.

      right? it's super hard to find visuals for size comparisons, even if you watch x videos and make a whole ass excel table comparing sizes in % I just can't wrap my head around it without some proper visualization, as simple as someone carrying/standing next to case. but that doesnt make for good montage footage so nobody does it.

    The worst thing you can ever hear someone say in a PC build: “I went with the cheapest power supply I could find”. Anyone reading this, that’s one of the worst things you can do. Never go anything less than 80 plus gold certified and if possible try to go for platinum.

    • @zenihalt8004
      @zenihalt8004 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      80+ Bronze is fine on a budget. I do think you need to have a PSU that is at least 80+ Bronze

    • @purplecrayon7281
      @purplecrayon7281 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Bronzre, Gold, Platinum -- these are all terms describing energy efficiency; these terms don't say anything about the quality of the rails and capacitors inside the PSU. You can get Gold certified from a Chinese off brand and it can still bust into flames.

    • @zenihalt8004
      @zenihalt8004 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @petermeyer6873
      @petermeyer6873 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@noxify5873 I see. Those twisted cases are rare and I doubt they fit the new graphics card dimensions so well. Usually a "standard-airflow" case, that has enough intake from both the front (for the cpu/mb) and below (for the gpu) and an exhaust up the roof will cool quite well. The heat exchanger for liquid cooling is then placed under he roof.

    Hey man, I picked up the Deepcool 200PRO RGB LED Strip and I cant get them to work. My motherboard is the Asrock z390 Phantom Gaming itx/ac, I connected these 2 strips together and connected the GND 5V 3 pin connector to my motherboard ADDR_LED1 header. Am I missing something? When I turn it on nothing lights up
