On the strix b450-i, the rear m.2 shares with the pcie x16. When you use the rear m.2, the pcie becomes x8, so your GPU is running on x8 now, not x16. It's mentioned in the manual.
Yes good point! This is true but based on the benchmarks it didn't really make a difference in performance, something to keep in mind though.
@@Pokanimal Good to hear it doesn't make a difference. Wasn't sure if the x8 is enough bandwidth.
So should I still get the B450-i? Or should I find another motherboard?
@@hanshc just get the b550 it solves the problem of the rear m.2 splitting pcie lane bandwidth not to mention it supports pcie 4 when that becomes relevant.
@@bb_poison but does that fit with the H210i motherboard? (Is it an ITX Board)
Actually appreciate this part 2:54 where you carry the case. It gives me an idea how big it was by just looking at it.
right? it's super hard to find visuals for size comparisons, even if you watch x videos and make a whole ass excel table comparing sizes in % I just can't wrap my head around it without some proper visualization, as simple as someone carrying/standing next to case. but that doesnt make for good montage footage so nobody does it.
Similar build here, can’t wait to get going. I got the 210i. Loved the vid. Very clean!
Thanks! Good luck with your build :)
I´ve bought the "big brother" of this case, the H500 and I´m in love with it. Might buy this one in the future for a ITX build. I´m loving the NZXT case designs.
NZXT H400 is good case.
I really like your 24pin cable going behind the motherboard. I'm going to steal that idea for my build
That’s not recommended as that can wear out the motherboard and decrease its lifespan.
@@caniget10ksubswithnovideos47 how will it wear out my motherboard? It easily fit behind the motherboard with no stress or fitment issues. Good thing for the motherboard standoffs leaving a large enough gap, right?
Really good build - loving how clean it looks and I have to say the black case actually nice and stealth.
There is ITX mobo with type c function, but slightly more expensive. Find Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX
I love Stef signature, seven strings rules!
The low frets are sooooo far apart though
Looking many videos just trying to find out how to remove the front of the case adn finally someone shows it!! Thanks :)
First time I've actually seen someone us the hyper-x ram. I don't get why a lot of tech youtubers don't use it.
finally 6:40 someone actually showed me how to remove the front panel. I couldnt find a video that does this lmao.
Got this case coming in coming monday so hopefully it Goes well
I just bought a new case but I definitely want to build a mini pc one day. This is a really nice build!
dude your videos are great, great editing skills and music. keep it up!
Thank you!
Great solution for the Usb 3.1 Gen2 header! I was struggling to find any Mobo that had one available as well so ill take your idea for sure!
Clean build and we have the same case too! let me buy that M.2 USB C port. Thank s for showing it gives me and idea
Very nice, only extended cables white black,or red black.
What i would do with the 24 pin, is just routing it through the big hole. I would do this because the cable is very beautiful, the small ugle cables I would do the same
What is a ugle cable? Lmfao
like, man I love mini itx builds!!!
Nice but AIO is definitely mounted wrong.. orientation wise tube should be running from the bottom, not top.
I have the H200 myself and was thinking of putting a custom loop in there. Great job and nice components you have, I'm still waiting on a graphics card (lol).
excellent video, I have the same pieces, only the refrigeration that is 120 that I bought, so your video was very useful, greetings from Chile!
P.S. how wonderful is the h200 and the founders edition I love that combination!
(Update) I just got a replacement for the type-c pci card and it works! I'm able to read data now and transfer files at full speed, the first one must have been a nutty dud. Thanks for watching everyone will be posting a vid soon :)
This is good to know as I just ordered the exact same card to power my USB-C 3.1 case mounted socket - did you find the data throughput was reliable with the new replacement ?
So far the speeds are consistent and don't drop, seems as good as having a native port
@@Pokanimal Nice ! and now Amazon have them shipping via Prime so I don't have to wait for the Ali-express ! :)
@@leehickin4456 Good call lol
The worst thing you can ever hear someone say in a PC build: “I went with the cheapest power supply I could find”. Anyone reading this, that’s one of the worst things you can do. Never go anything less than 80 plus gold certified and if possible try to go for platinum.
80+ Bronze is fine on a budget. I do think you need to have a PSU that is at least 80+ Bronze
Bronzre, Gold, Platinum -- these are all terms describing energy efficiency; these terms don't say anything about the quality of the rails and capacitors inside the PSU. You can get Gold certified from a Chinese off brand and it can still bust into flames.
@@purplecrayon7281 At this point, you just shop around for a PSU from a reputable brand like Corsair, SeaSonic, Silverstone etc. It is NEVER recommended to go off brand due to that inherent risk
Why is everything a question? I know you have a lot to talk about? Like all your parts? And how you're going to route wires? But maybe watch that upspeak? Unless of course your Jen Psaki? Nice build.
Hey man, nice build! How come you didn’t spring for a B550? (as they have a usb c header).
That's a good question, I bought these parts almost 2 months ago and b550 wasn't out then :(
Vassi Tech ah! I’m starting my build now. Will buy a few parts a month so hoping to get the 550 ..
@@atthelord Nice!
Arman Talwar if you can, get an x570
David M. Hey man, I’ve held off from buying as of now. But is there any particular reason to buy the x570i over the B550i?
The extra PCIE lanes don’t apply for ITX setups as such, no x570i has usb c front header and even though the VRMs are lesser, it still over clocks well.
How are the thermals for this case?
Great video! Also planning on buying the same case!
I have the same case and wondering how I install a Samsung 860 EVO SSD in the front spot
Nice job good luck with your TH-cam channel
Thanks!
you are not supposed to route power supply cable that way... The big opening next to the motherboard is just for doing that.
Beautiful build man! although I can’t help but thinking that gpu is running hot in that case 🥵
It is had to create a custom fan profile so it doesn't throttle :P
When he was about to put the fan outside the case and he showed a beer can lmao
awesome build...really clean.
Nice Build
Thanks :)
looks so sick wow
I'm gunna build something in this case! Probably a 3070 build...
I just did. Its a dream!
@PJA rtx 3070 i7 9700k 16gb 3200mhz g skill trident (rgb) Aorus z390 pro wifi all stuffed into a nzxt H210
I think it came out perfectly. Very nice job. Do you know if there is enough space for the distribution-plate pump combo (EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 120 D5 PWM D-RGB - Plexi)? This information will be usefull for planning my custom loop. Thanks beforehand.
Not sure about this one, where were you gonna mount it?
@@Pokanimal The plan is to mount it on the front-radiator with this mount: EK-Loop Angled Bracket. This makes it possible to position it vertically. I'm just wondering if it won't be blocked by the detachable bracket or lengthy GPU. Also I just ordered the parts, so hope you can give me some confidence haha.
@@DhrFriso That's a clever way of mounting it, I checked quickly and you should be ok. Take out the cable bar and mount the radiator close to the highest position, the reservoir will go to about where the ram is.
@@Pokanimal Awesome man! I'm gonna see how it goes monday. Thank you so much. See you in the next video :)
@@DhrFriso Good luck!
It is the most beautiful pc I have seen!!!! but it makes a lot of noise? because of the reduced space
Thx! It has a lot of fans so it is audible but not enough to be bothersome
Nice work dude!
Wonder why don't choosing b550 motherboard since you have actual needs for the type-c?
When I ordered the parts it wasn't out yet, should have been more patient lol
Damn trying to find a rtx 2060 super but fe edition
idk but this is so simple but cool. like this so much. how about the temperature ?
Hello, congratulations great build!
One question: are you having any issues with the gpu temps?
The gpu fan looks so close to the case and makes me think it can't dissipate the heat very well...
Thanks! I'm working on posting a video with temps results soon if you wanna check it out.
@@Pokanimal please!!
I use a sfx power supply in the same case temps are fine it pulls air from the perforated holes
Would really like the know the temps on that rad config. Just built in this case and not digging the temps.
It strikes me, that this build could profit from reversing the airflow: Cool air in over the VRMs and hot air from the AIO pushed out to the front. Could be worth a try!
I was thinking about using a be quiet dark pro 4 or something facing upwards and exhaust all the air out the top then find a gpu that is a blower style hopefully and it might help get some heat off the gpu
@@noxify5873 I see. Those twisted cases are rare and I doubt they fit the new graphics card dimensions so well. Usually a "standard-airflow" case, that has enough intake from both the front (for the cpu/mb) and below (for the gpu) and an exhaust up the roof will cool quite well. The heat exchanger for liquid cooling is then placed under he roof.
Hey dude, really enjoyed your video, I’m also looking to get this case with the Corsair H100i cpu cooler, will it fit?
Edit: Also looking into getting a 2070 super or 2080 super, Those cards are longer..
Yes it will but only with a single side of fans, dual fan setup won't with those gpu's!
sick ESP bro
Thx! It's a lot of fun to play
I saw you have installed 2 fan behind the water cooler block. Are that 4 fans intake?
Please answer this! I need help with the same problem. I have the same case and I would like to use the usb c port at the front. However, I have a asus b150i mobo. Can you explain what you did to put the adapter on? You showed the adapter and the after it was placed on but not how. I thought it was a pcie slot but after you placed it on, it was on the back of the mobo?
So it's 2 pieces total one is m.2 to pci and the other part is m.2 to the type-c header. From what I see that mobo has a m.2 port on the back so it would plug in there. Check the description I included the parts I used. Hope it helps.
@@Pokanimal Thanks! It's a little confusing though because which piece do I connect to the m.2 port on the MOBO. Since there's two ends of the m.2 and only one m.2 port. Like if we connect the m.2 end from the m.2 to pci... how to we connect the other pieces towards the piece on the mobo.
Hate the giant Corsair logo on the cooler, just put a symbol not a name too, it's obnoxious. Otherwise insanely nice looking and compact build.
Looking at picking up that GPU with the NZXT H210, upgrading from a GTX 1660S.. how are the thermals?
Any reason why you got this over the H210i ? Is it because you wanted to out your own RGB strips ?
Too expensive over here wasn't worth the diff imo
Vassi Tech thanks !
Yo. I saw somewhere you could mod the 2060 bios to change the color of the "GeForce RTX" green logo. Apparently it's RGB.
The first thing you want to do is make sure that there is no rgb software. If there is, then that would be your first choice. Minding the bios isn’t ideal.
Great video!
Thanks!
Hello, I use the same computer case, but my GPU sees 90 degrees. I own the Galakuro RTX 3060. Can you help?
Bro, how's the performance of the liquid cooler? I am planning to buy it. Thanks and cool video!
If I make this exact build but with the Ryzen 5 5600x, would there be adequate cooling?
I just opened the case and unscrewed and removed the type C and kept until I upgraded to a mobo with a type c header
What's the price in all of the components ?
Do you have overclocking video for this set up?
Would a pc build like this be good for using Adobe programs too?
I saw a video where it's best to put the tubes of the radiator down instead of up. Can you do that with this case?
I saw that too! I don't think it would fit with this config, maybe with single side of fans
Was it hard to build the pc i am scared to build my own
Im thinking of building a similar PC but i had a few concerns about the gpu air space, hows your gpu tempreture looking?
Im also a bit fked since my desired gpu has thickness of 46mm and the maximum the case suggesting was 44mm lol
I'll post details of performance and cooling in an upcoming video if you wanna check it out!
@@evanszikun5307 It will likely fit, might hinder cooling a little but should be ok.
@@Pokanimal Sure do, good sir
The SN550 is a dram-less ssd.
do you think the h210 can handle a 5800x3d with 4070 ti
Any chance I can get a link to the adapters you used? I ran into the same problem with my case not really paying attention to the issue
My biggest grip is no 3 slots for gpu, otherwise fantastic case
did you have to update the bios? going with a ryzen 5 3600 also for this case. was looking at the mobo but was sure if i was going to beable to use it with that cpu? first build here
It worked out of the box I didn't need to update the bios with this board
Awesome, thank you for you’re reply. Awesome video
Noooo radiator tubes are top down. Rip
Hi, It's me your cousin.
How do you install rgb fans on this case?
Never been a Mini ITX fan, and much less and NZXT fan, but this case is so clean.
Would you consider selling the RTX 2060 SUPER Founders EDITION? I cannot find it anywhere on the internet to buy. Or can you tell me where you bought it?
I got this from the nvidia store website, can't sell unfortunately the pc isn't mine :P
@Jake W yes but it wont ship to Europe :(
Its enough a 500w psu? Im wondering build the same as you, with the 2060 super and 5 3600
500watt is enough :)
how much for overclocking?
800w is good for almost heavy load
People always go OP with their psu it’s stupid.
Where to connect the rgb/fan hub to? Is it the motherboard?
How much is the 2060 super
Beautiful..
Thanks :)
Well done 👌
can i use rtx 3060 instead rtx 2070?
Can this case fit a 3 fan GPU plus a front radiator with fans?
How much gpu clearance did you have with the push pull rad?
257mm
Sabe dizer se cabe um Gamaxx GTE V2?
I dont know how to connect the front usb type c to my itx aorus b550i pro ax. Also do I need the smart device to connect my h210 stock fans? Dont know/find where to connect them in the motherboard. Appreciate any help
That 500w bronze rated seems a lil weak for rtx 2060 super and a ryzen 5
im building mine rn but the 24 pin is kinda tricky to put behind the mobo
Hey man, I picked up the Deepcool 200PRO RGB LED Strip and I cant get them to work. My motherboard is the Asrock z390 Phantom Gaming itx/ac, I connected these 2 strips together and connected the GND 5V 3 pin connector to my motherboard ADDR_LED1 header. Am I missing something? When I turn it on nothing lights up
Seems like u did it right, were you able to figure it out? Make sure none of the pins got bent or it wasn't plugged upside down
@@Pokanimal How can it be plugged upside down? Doesn't it only go one way? I still haven't been able to get it working
@Vassi Tech ??
@@kylek1252 Still no luck eh? What I was referring to is making sure the 5v on the cable is plugging in to the 5v on the motherboard same with ground and data, the 5v always has an arrow on the connector if u look closely
@@Pokanimal No man I dont recall seeing any arrows only on the strips themselves
If u put an atx motherboard it that case will it still work??
i notice you put the AIO fan in front but on your final build, you put them in the back. was there an issue?
What are the GPU temps on this build?
which EZDIY-FAB PSU Extension Sleeved Cables did u use in this build and what are the pins on them
how are the thermals on this build?
I'm going to build my girlfriend pc in this case. Does the case support ATX form psu? I have the Corsair TX650M
Yes it supports atx psu
does the usb c port work with that motherboard ?
what speaker is that
Can I put a 280mm aio in this case?
Yup it should fit
@@Pokanimal Okey, thanks sir!!
Can we put rtx 3090
Should really flip the AiO rad.
I need to cut the shroud off to make the RTX 3080 get inside :D
Hey can you link every thing in the comments or reply?
