Nice looking figures Oggie. I got 2 of the interior kits specially for the heads. I'm working on making the bridge from Wrath of Khan but needed to replace the heads on the figures i have. I think that McCoy is the best sculpt of them all, closely followed by Scotty, Checkov, Sulu and Spock. You mentioned Mark Myers, he used the extra heads from the latest bridge kit on his figures as they fit perfectly
Outstanding! The first time I have watched a video like this and your skills are amazing. Beautiful work and vision. Thanks for including the colors, the brands, the brushes, and the links. Thanks.
Great job on the paint. The blending and high lights, low lights. The figures are excellent. I’m definitely looking into semi brush. I’ve seen videos of miniature figures where they use a microscope to paint. I actually thought the rig they use were able to paint super paint detailing. Very fine job interstellar dude.
Amazing work as usual Oggie! Love your technique for the uniforms. I’ve tried the wash system a few times but it’s never turned out satisfactory for me. I must say I’m an avid dry brusher so that seems to work for me. I always start with a black base and work backwards to lighter colours even on flesh tones. Looking forward to the next instalment my friend. 👊🏻
Thank you very much Derek. Dry brushing is a good technique as well. My experience painting those busts has really helped with improving my wet blending skills. I thought I’d try it at this scale and it worked out. Appreciate your kind words as always. Good to hear from you
Very helpful tips, Oggie! Your painting skills are amazing and continue to be honed! I’ll be checking out the brushes you recommended and I love the idea of color chips!
Hi Oggie, have you seen what Lou Dalmaso did with his kit I think it looks fantastic, and I love your figures I cannot do that my hands are not steady enough but at least I can appreciate a dam fine job when I see one great work Oggie, great work.
It’s slated to be on display eventually at three Ticonderoga Star Trek set tours. No definite time yet set but I know they’ve been building the display area

The figures look great. It would be interesting if someone made figures of Nancy Hedford and Zefram Cochrane for a diorama from "Metamorphosis".
Thank you

Interesting techniques here, personally I'd have gone with a wash and dry brushing for shadows and highlights.
Thanks

What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
Thanks. I use Vallejo and the colors are all listed in the video’s description. The brushes are from Zembrush.com
Someone restored the original used in the show. Full size.

Just a heads up not is pronounced Sherwin Williams not Sherman.
omg I cant believe I did that. Thanks for the correction.
@@InterstellarModeler I called it Sherman as well before I worked at the plant. 🤪

Only when building Lol. And the red shirts actually survived on the Galileo 7 episode Lol
