I’m about to use my own hylauron pen for the first time. Should I use 5ml ampoules for mylips and how much filler should I use. Is neuramis ok to use? X
I had this treatment done last week and I have several little bumps. I didn’t massage it will doing it. What should I do now? I need these bumps gone and smooth lips. Help! Also what method do I need to massage my lips?
Really great tips, thank you! You’re so cute! How much HA filler do you recommend injecting in the lips for the first time for average\good size lips? Do you typically numb your clients to start?
Hi love your uploads. Just purchased my pen and just wanted to know what soft filler you would recommend for a first timer for lips and nasolabial folds? TA
I am curious- do you prefer to inject from behind a client positioning the pen downward on the vermilion border to create volume, or do you stand in front of them and place the product flat on the lips? I am trying to figure out what is the best technique. I have gotta 3 syringes of juvederm, it is not lasting and you can't tell very much. I want to build on what I have with this pen. Also- how do we avoid blood vessles which can cause a serious problem if bursting one. Sorry I hope this makes sense haha
Hi Mia, Thank you for the message, for the lips, if I am working on a client who is sitting in a more upright position, then I would normally stand next to them or in front of them . I would stand behind them or next to them if they are lying down, in the full procedure tips and tricks video you can watch my angles and in the third follow up treatment I show you how I angle my device. On the vermilion border I would normally hold it 90 degrees, and when doing volume more towards the inside of the lip (but not in the wetline) I work at a slightly more upward angle if I am working on the top lip and a slightly downward angle if I am working on the bottom lip ♥︎. I will definitely do a video on explaining veins, arteries, capillaries & blood vessels and how they can be influenced by the hyaluron pen. Keeping in mind that your shots are normally 0.02ml per shot (this is tiny) and it is implanted so superficially. Where with injectables you are able to implant the product much deeper and release the product in a 'line/ slither' which is so very different from the hyaluron pen. If you were to take water, and shoot it out of a water pistol, it would have a heavier flow and would make more impact. If you were to take the same amount of water and squirt it out of a spray nozzle, it would not have a 'heavy flow' and it would not make much impact. So are very unlikely to rupture a blood-vessel using a hyaluron pen and shots of around 0.01- 0.03ml per shot.nYou can defiantly hit capillaries, this would cause some bruising and swelling and is expected due to the lips being so vascular. This is not a big problem at all. Thank you for commenting and subscribing ♥︎ I hope that you get your results! I normally advise my students to (while still practicing 7 perfecting their technique) to purchase a fine and more cost effective filler so that they are able to learn/ practice and not be wasting such an expensive product.

i love your videos they are helping me a lot since i just completed my course. i'm excited to start injecting but there are some things that i really want to make sure about. i saw a lot of girls that are doing this and they charged for every ml for example 1ml=$170 2ml=$250 3ml=$300 that is just an example but its just something similar of what im talking about so if i used on the client lips 1ml on the sides and 2 ml on the body of the lips how will that work since is still one syringe? and another question is, if i want to put 2.5 ml how much should i twist the nozzle or how that works? and can i used half of syringe or full syringe? i know that i made a lot of questions but they are some of the things i struggle with. by the way you are very sweet and i love how you explain in detail every video
Hi Monique. Im excited for you to start your journey. Yes the below pricing examples sound correct. You should only use 1ml in your clients lips per session. Clients normally need 3 sessions in total. Each session can be 2-3 weeks apart. So it will take about 6 weeks to get all 3ml's into their lips. Your client can then pay $300 once off or $170 per appointment. your shots are normally 0.02ml per shot. so it would take you about 50 shots to get the full 1m syringe into her lips. 0.02ml's = twist the pen down two lines.
@@BerthashannonLeonard Hi do you suggest twisting down 1 line for someone getting it for the first time? Also do you apply warm compress after injections?
Hi - thank you for your comment 🤗. A fine HA is usually a good starting HA to use. Many great brands offer a ‘fine’ HA in their range. Dermalax, Revolax, Bonetta, Hyladerm basically all the brands should be able to offer you their ‘fine’ serum. I do love working with a ‘deep’ but for a beginner it is advisable to start with a ‘fine’. Also as a beginner do not buy the most expensive filler you can find, you will probably have some product loss initially and do not want to be waisting the most expensive filler you could find.
I tell them that if they properly clean their hands before touching the area then they can gently massage through out the day, if this is necessary, alternately, if they can wait 24 hours that is also great.
Hi Rihab, that is 100% normal. We all heal on our own time, so clients have it only for about 1 day, others for about 11 days. all depends on you. Drinking lots of water and using arnica oil can also assist.
I didn’t buy a pen yet but I first find more information. Also what kind of pen I can buy. And which serum is good. I don’t want to use it for my lips but for 2 lines above my lips and the fine lines underneath my cheeks. Are there also complications if I try it for that area?
Hi Janine. Thank you for watching and thank you for the video. It sounds to me that maybe you need skin tightening first. If you have lax skin, then first tighten with micro-needling or plasam, thereafter you can do some hyaluron pen on the wrinkles that are left. If your skin is tight and you have some wrinkles, then you can use the pen. If the wrinkles are only present when you express, then the pen is not idal (as those are expression lines.) for the smoker lines, do a few shots on your vermilion boarder as well. Please send me your email address and I will email you some information on suppliers.
@@BerthashannonLeonard thank you so much for your answer. Where can I send you my email address? In there I send you some more information about my skin . Pity you don’t live in my country 😉
Hi Celha- thank you for.commenting 🎀 I recommend a thinner viscosity for beginners. It is less prone to lumps and it is easier to inject with minimal product loss.
I just used my pen for the first time last night with the filler it came with called Inobelle F which includes 3mg of lidocaine. This morning I woke up with a bunch of little “bump/blister” like things on the ares where I injected. I was massaging my lips right after I was finished to hopefully not have any lumps since I did get one before from regular lip injections. What do you think I could have done wrong?
Hi Marilyn. Shew, many items can contribute to creating little lumps, for example: 1. To superficial application - not enough pressure 2. To superficial application - faulty pen (very rare situation) 3. Too superficial application - moving away too quickly after taking your shot (alwasy wait 5-10 seconds before moving away your device) 4. Not massaging (but you did do this step) Im not familiar with the the above mentioned product. You can send me a photo and I can have a look and maybe give your better guidance whatsapp - +27825600992 email: bertha@capribeauty.co.za
Yes, very smooth, plump and hydrated. You can exfoliate your lips prior to the appointment, this will also help with the 'chapping'it is externally important to stay hydrated.

Hello Lovely Bertha!!! Silly question; do the HA fillers dissolve on their own?, or do they stay in your lips? I have a pen and purchased Dermalax plus because it’s a lighter one to start with. I hope my question makes sense. Thank you.
Hi. Not at all a silly question. Yes they dissolve on their own as your body metabolises it. Dermalax is one of my favourite, but Neuramis is known to be a good one to start with as it is slightly easier to get into the lips.
Hi, that is completely normal and to he expected. I suggest you use arnica oil or drink arnica tablets to assist with a speedy recovery. Also drink plenty of water. Xx
Hi, I had this done 5 months ago and I still have two lumps on my Cupid’s bow. I’ve tried massaging them but they don’t go away. Is there any other way to dissolve the product?
hi Ashley. Our pen is unfortunately only for sale in South Africa, it seems to be too problematic to export out of SA, but i can send you a list of suppliers for other pens that I know work well?

But yesterday I de died to do on my lips, and I am very unhappy and afraid, they got soooo big, I like like a monster!!!!!! I put ice, I used arnica, massage andeverything that you said on your video, but still horrible. Can you help me? What should I do? Tks...😒😒
Hello, I have a question. I got my lips done with a girl who uses the hyaluron pen and has her own business doing it. I did my lips with her July 2020 and I still have like these small little balls on my upper lip that look like they have a small black dot in the middle. And although they aren’t as big as in July, I still have them and they haven’t gone away. I’m worried because she says it’s normal and some girls stay with the little balls for up to 8 months. Is this normal! Please help.
HI Tanya, it does depend on what type of filler she used. If she used a monophasic filler it could last up to 12 months. If possible, maybe try to book a quick catch up with her so that she can see / feel them to check if it is just taking a bit long to break up or if they will need to be dissolved. If you are dehydrated, then it is 'normal' for them to be a bit visable, but if you are very hydrated and they are visible all the time (permanently visible) then it is worth investigating She is probably the best person to go back to because she knows what she used and how big her shots were etc. Best of luck! Worst case scenario would be they need to be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Hey, thank you so much for responding. So it’s been a year already and I still have the small balls on my upper lip and they are small but I can still see them. They look as if they are permanent now. I am dehydrated most of the time. I have told the girl who did them and she always tells me to put a warm towel on my lips and to try and dissolve them with a q-tip. Do you have any recommendations? I’m just worried she doesn’t want to help with solving my issue because she says I’m the first person this has happened to. And I’m scared I am the only person who has this problem. Any advice? Or tips? Thank you again.
@@tanyaarroyo4048 hi something very similar happened to me Is it still there? Did you find a way to treat it? I think it my be a collagen buildup from the injury in the shooting area.

Hi, are your lips hydrated? Are you drinking water & have you been using something with electrolytes (like rehydrate) to help retain hydration? Do you know what product was used? Have you spoken to the therapist who helped you? The little lumps & bumps should be gone after 14 days, if it remains a concern then I would suggest you speak to the therapist or have them dissolved.
@@BerthashannonLeonard hi Actually its in the eye area and i did it myself, i am not professional. Its on the thin skin under the eyes and under the eyebrows also. Can it be some kind of a collagen buildup? A scar? And not the filler? I used "ammi-s" filler, i am hydrated, drinking, massage them but it has been 2 months already.... I really appreciate your help Is it possible that it will stay permanent? It looks allitle bit like milia.
@@Miamiralisette thanks for sharing Mine are also there, i think that some of them are just very surfaced hyaluronic acid so you can see them and other are maby a collagen buildup as a scar I hope it will go with time...
@@mommadeenaa Im so sorry for only responding now! I hope that you are happy with your result. Remember that you might have some swelling that will subside within 1-2 days, thereafter the HA will need 10-14 days to gather water molecules in order to plump the area. So only 'judge' your result after 2-3 weeks and ONLY AFTER you have done 2-3 treatments. I absolutely love this treatment, but understanding how it works is super important. If your paying a lot Im sure it is because the lady is using a good quality brand. I know of people who charge bewtwwn $300 - $400 for a session.

Hello so 3 months ago I did a clients lips and I believe I went too close to the wet dry border of her lips and she has a bump that hasn’t gone down , is there any way that she can have it go down ?? PLEASE HELP 🙏🏼 THANK YOU !!
Hi Kimberly. I’m sorry to hear this, it can be very stressful if a client has an issue and you can’t find a solution. If it is reducing, then I would continue to encourage her to apply pressure daily. If it seems the same & it is really bothering her, then the best is to have it dissolved unfortunately.
Soooo today I need my cheeks(I’ve done them before) but I think this time the HA was too thick. Now I have bumps, I just did it so I don’t know if I’m paranoid... should I push down on each bump today or should I wait three days to see actual results??
HI Andrea. I think you can do some massaging now. If your shots were bigger than 0.01ml - 0.015ml, then there is a bigger chance of having lumps (if you were using a medium to thicker viscosity). If your shots were the same as I mentioned or less, or you used a low viscosity serum (more like a meso serum than a filler) then you should not have bumps. But if you do have bumps, you should be able to get rid of them without big issues, so no need to stress 🤗 thank you for commenting. I hope to do a video on cheeks within the next week
Hey I got my lips done today and after some hours now, the right side of my upper lip is still not swollen at all, compared to the rest of my lips. It looks the same as before. Will the acid spread, so that it looks even after?
Hi Fabiana, I hope that you are well. It is hard to say that your result is on its way when I dont know anything about the product, therapist, technique, request used during the treatment, but, yes, it takes about 10- 14 days (depending on how diligent you are ith hydration) for the Hyaluronic acid to gather water molecules wich will plump the area. So it does take time for the results to be visible. swelling isn’t usually 'symmetrical' so lets see how it plays out in the next two week. Remember that this process is 100% dependant on layering and if you are not committing to about three treatments (initially) then you are wasting your money. Hope that this helps. xXx holding thumbs that you get beautiful plum, juicy lips very soon 🤗
Hi Gwendolyn, that is a good question. I think the supplier would be the best place to get that answer from. I can unfortunately not answer that, but please do share the information with us if your supplier can give that info to you.
HI Jenny. Bumps and lumps can form if the hyaluron pen is used incorrectly (for example incorrect depth) but it is also quite normal to feel a little bumpy for the first 10 days or so following your treatment. My advice is for new therapists using the pen tp rather start with fine serums rather than the thicker ones like Dermalax. Hope this helps. I’ve been trained recently and decided I wanted to do the procedure to myself before taking my first client- first go around I not only had very little product coming out but I had little bumps from the injection site I only did three before stopping. Looked like air bubbles what am I doing right? My form seemed spot on I’m thinking maybe there were bubbles in the filler but very very small
do you have any updates? have they gone away yet? i have the same thing 😭
@@buddhamarley2954 yes mine went away. I have nice full lips to begin with so I think I’m my case I wasn’t using enough. That being said, I won’t be doing this to myself again because I don’t need it .
How soon do you recommend massaging after you get the treatment?
How soon after placing the filler can I tell my customers to apply ice? Thank you
Hi I love your videos !! what’s the best pen and filler for lips ? Where can I sign up for your class?
Do u massage right after getting filler or how long after can u do massages?
i love your videos they are helping me a lot since i just completed my course. i'm excited to start injecting but there are some things that i really want to make sure about. i saw a lot of girls that are doing this and they charged for every ml for example
1ml=$170
2ml=$250
3ml=$300
that is just an example but its just something similar of what im talking about so if i used on the client lips 1ml on the sides and 2 ml on the body of the lips how will that work since is still one syringe?
and another question is, if i want to put 2.5 ml how much should i twist the nozzle or how that works?
and can i used half of syringe or full syringe? i know that i made a lot of questions but they are some of the things i struggle with.
by the way you are very sweet and i love how you explain in detail every video
@@BerthashannonLeonard thank you so much you explain all that so well!!! I finally understand 💜✨ thank you so much you are very kind ❤️
@@BerthashannonLeonard Hi do you suggest twisting down 1 line for someone getting it for the first time? Also do you apply warm compress after injections?
What low viscosity ha do you suggest for a beginner?
Hi - thank you for your comment 🤗. A fine HA is usually a good starting HA to use. Many great brands offer a ‘fine’ HA in their range. Dermalax, Revolax, Bonetta, Hyladerm basically all the brands should be able to offer you their ‘fine’ serum. I do love working with a ‘deep’ but for a beginner it is advisable to start with a ‘fine’. Also as a beginner do not buy the most expensive filler you can find, you will probably have some product loss initially and do not want to be waisting the most expensive filler you could find.
GREAT tips!
Thank you for all excellent information.
Thank you for watching 🙌💕
What product line do you recommend for beginners ?
Hi Denea.
As a beginner it would be advisable to start with a fine serum.
Neuramis fine, dermalax fine, revolax fine....
Can yo recommend a good effect hyapen and hyaluronic acid for a beginner, there are so many to choose from and it’s a little intimidating, thank you
Hi Kim. So sorry that I am only responding now! What country are you in?
When do you recommend the client to start massaging any lumps or bumps after their appointment?
I tell them that if they properly clean their hands before touching the area then they can gently massage through out the day, if this is necessary, alternately, if they can wait 24 hours that is also great.
Hello, thank you for the video, is it normal to still have blue in the lips after 4 days of the treatment ? Thank you
Hi Rihab, that is 100% normal.

How thick of the hyaluronic acid do you reccomend? For beginners?
Hi Celha- thank you for.commenting 🎀 I recommend a thinner viscosity for beginners. It is less prone to lumps and it is easier to inject with minimal product loss.
I just used my pen for the first time last night with the filler it came with called Inobelle F which includes 3mg of lidocaine. This morning I woke up with a bunch of little “bump/blister” like things on the ares where I injected. I was massaging my lips right after I was finished to hopefully not have any lumps since I did get one before from regular lip injections. What do you think I could have done wrong?
Hi Marilyn. Shew, many items can contribute to creating little lumps, for example:
1. To superficial application - not enough pressure
2. To superficial application - faulty pen (very rare situation)
3. Too superficial application - moving away too quickly after taking your shot (alwasy wait 5-10 seconds before moving away your device)
4. Not massaging (but you did do this step)
Im not familiar with the the above mentioned product. You can send me a photo and I can have a look and maybe give your better guidance

Do your lips start to feel smoother after? Mine feel like they are chapped after getting them done
Yes, very smooth, plump and hydrated.
You can exfoliate your lips prior to the appointment, this will also help with the 'chapping'it is externally important to stay hydrated.
Hello, i have a question please when I am doing the Hyaluron Pen it’s really common that I see the product doesn’t enter in the skin. I don’t know if I am doing mistakes or the product is not good for it do you have same products name please thank you
Hi Rihab. Please give me some more information on your pen and the fillers you are using.
Have you taken a course, have you done yourself or clients?
This information will help me troubleshoot ♥︎
Hello, thank you for your answer. I had a course in France and I started to apply for clients but I stopped when I saw that. I used Hyaluronic acid like Hyamira Forte and etermis 4 . I used the same pens that you used... Now I am trying to apply for myself to try
@@BerthashannonLeonard Thank you for your response. Blessing from 🇺🇸

I just got my lips done with then pen I have swelling and bruising on the bottom of my lip and top should I be worried ?
Hi, that is completely normal and to he expected. I suggest you use arnica oil or drink arnica tablets to assist with a speedy recovery. Also drink plenty of water. Xx
How to get rid of bumps nd filler
Hi, I had this done 5 months ago and I still have two lumps on my Cupid’s bow. I’ve tried massaging them but they don’t go away. Is there any other way to dissolve the product?
Yes, with a dissolver. It will remove it but you will need to re do the filler if you want it back
You’ll have to go to a a medispa to dissolve it
I really love your pen, can I have info on it? 😊
hi Ashley. Our pen is unfortunately only for sale in South Africa, it seems to be too problematic to export out of SA, but i can send you a list of suppliers for other pens that I know work well?

Hi Bertha, how are you. I am ROSANGELA, and I have been studying how to use those pens for a while. I watched many videos and I have done some clients with no complains, in fact, they love the result. But yesterday I de died to do on my lips, and I am very unhappy and afraid, they got soooo big, I like like a monster!!!!!! I put ice, I used arnica, massage andeverything that you said on your video, but still horrible. Can you help me? What should I do? Tks...😒😒
HI Rosangela. I am so sorry to hear that. Can you send me a photo to my instagram? @premieracademybertha

@@tanyaarroyo4048 hi something very similar happened to me
Is it still there? Did you find a way to treat it?
I think it my be a collagen buildup from the injury in the shooting area.
@@מרבדוידסון hello, I still have them and they have no dissolved. It’s been 1 whole year and 5 months. It’s been a long time and no improvements. It honestly looks permanent to me at this point. My lips are not the same anymore
How interesting your video seems to me !!!!! My problem is that I understand very little English and I am afraid of making a mistake, thinking that I have understood you. A suggestion: would it be possible for you to put subtitles in Spanish? Would it be very complicated? In Spain there is very little information about it, but many people are interested in training in hyaluronic pen .... Well, thank you very much for your generosity in sharing your experience. A beautiful kiss, I already subscribed 😁
Hola margarita Gracias por su comentario positivo. ¡Sí, haré eso por ti! Creo que es una muy buena idea. Trabajaré en eso este fin de semana.

the little red puncture marks take awhile to go away for me, is that normal or something I'm doing wrong or my body?
Hi, thank you for commenting 🤗. What do you mean with "a while" like, how long would you say
So it’s been two months and I still have little bumps on my lips from where she used the pen. Do you have any idea why I keep massaging them and nothing has changed 😭
Hey i have the same problem
Did it went away already?
Hi, are your lips hydrated? Are you drinking water & have you been using something with electrolytes (like rehydrate) to help retain hydration? Do you know what product was used? Have you spoken to the therapist who helped you?
The little lumps & bumps should be gone after 14 days, if it remains a concern then I would suggest you speak to the therapist or have them dissolved.
@@BerthashannonLeonard hi
Actually its in the eye area and i did it myself, i am not professional.
Its on the thin skin under the eyes and under the eyebrows also.
Can it be some kind of a collagen buildup? A scar? And not the filler?
I used "ammi-s" filler, i am hydrated, drinking, massage them but it has been 2 months already....
I really appreciate your help
Is it possible that it will stay permanent?
It looks allitle bit like milia.
I ended up getting regular lip filler injections and you can’t see them as much because of the filler but they didn’t go away for me
@@Miamiralisette thanks for sharing
Mine are also there, i think that some of them are just very surfaced hyaluronic acid so you can see them and other are maby a collagen buildup as a scar
I hope it will go with time...
How much does this usually cost?
Hi 🤗 thank you for commenting. Which country are you in? then I can maybe better assist.
I’m in Los Angeles
@@mommadeenaa Im so sorry for only responding now! I hope that you are happy with your result. Remember that you might have some swelling that will subside within 1-2 days, thereafter the HA will need 10-14 days to gather water molecules in order to plump the area. So only 'judge' your result after 2-3 weeks and ONLY AFTER you have done 2-3 treatments. I absolutely love this treatment, but understanding how it works is super important. If your paying a lot Im sure it is because the lady is using a good quality brand. I know of people who charge bewtwwn $300 - $400 for a session.
Quick question have you used the pen on ur own lips? Never mind you just answered my question lol
Lol. Pleasure. Here is the link to my video where I do my own lips. I think I'dd do another video sometime to show different mapping and angles.

Hope that this helps.
xXx
holding thumbs that you get beautiful plum, juicy lips very soon 🤗
Can I mix my filler with sterile saline to bring it down from 23mg to 20mg? I know a lot of Derms do this?
Hi Gwendolyn, that is a good question. I think the supplier would be the best place to get that answer from. I can unfortunately not answer that, but please do share the information with us if your supplier can give that info to you.
No. Do not mix it with saline. And “derms” should know not to do this!
Is it normal to get a bump under the lip?
