I enjoy your narration on your rail fan clips. Having spent 30 years trucking, I have watched a lot of trains. From the shipping yards in Superior, Wisconsin, to the ports in Miami.
Love your videos Danny! I spent my first few years living in Belleview, CSX is still my favorite modern railroad. Grandparents used to own Pat's LP Gas right on Baseline, that's where I'd sit and watch em go by after school
A hot Florida winter day it is....a classmate of mine had 95 last week at Hobe Sound but think that was a closed vehicle she got into for that shot to send out. I'm liking the right hand graphics on this one to give us a bead on where you are on the line to look up in Google Earth to validate. Another gem as you have set the hook even deeper in this fan..and thanks as always.
+Todd Brown Yeah this winter has been nuts here in Florida. Not only warm temps but really high humidity. Glad you like the maps. I think I'll stick with this format for graphics. It seems to work well with this kind of video.
Thanks for the video. I was just up in Island Grove yesterday. I make the trip up there from Ocala several times a month just to watch trains. It's a quiet, picturesque place with an old Florida feel that is becoming harder and harder to find. Happy New Year!
+Jesse Ferguson Yeah, that is one nice place and you're right. It still feels like old Florida....except for that winery they built down at the intersection.
Danny I just wanted to say how much I love your videos. I l live in Sun City Center, FL and am in love with Seaboard Air Line and CSX. I am also starting a new n scale layout in the spare room. Your videos have been a wealth of info. Thank you. Loyd
loved the video. always great, your narration always makes it an A+ product. First week of February I hope to make a run up to the Callahan/Crawford area and maybe even Folkston.
Wow, would you look att that. 2:27 into your video and you have an old Amtrak box car.... WOW!!!! lucky you man!!!! Love your videos as always!!!! I railfan the NS route in and out of Atlanta so i'm hoping to start up a TH-cam page here soon!!!
@@2themoon863 From what I heard, Amtrak used boxcars in the 90s to carry mail. Some were even modified to carry automobiles. They don't do that anymore, though, so their boxcar fleet has been displaced.
A hot Florida winter day. OK, just rub it in Danny! ;) Excellent video with some great catches! Q025 got nailed by a clearance detector yesterday morning. About 7000' back was a container that had too much snow on top and tripped the detector. Cost them a 4 hour delay before proceeding south to warmer weather.
+Grainexpress Yeah, we've been getting a little tired of this 85 degree Christmas weather. Wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so humid. Thankfully it finally broke today. A lot cooler.
Thank you for the amazing video. I am not from America, so all the information you provide with the videos are very much appreciated! The amount of details you provide is awesome to say the least. Thank you for sharing and producing such great videos. I am impressed with the lengths/amount of cars/hoppers of various trains. I've also seen trains running in the middle of the street in other videos from other folks on youtube. Such street tracks are unthinkable here in Holland (The Netherlands). Do you have any trains that run on regular roads ? I mean running in the middle of a street/lane or such ? (sorry for my english, at times it is not very good, but I hope its allright most of the time). ;)
hey when you get a chance, try coming to seattle and do some videos on the 4 BNSF sub divisions here. the subdivisions are the Senic sub, seattle sub, Bellingham sub and the Columbia River sub. Seattle has a great Railroad history so come up to Seattle when u have time.
@@bnsfwarbonnet wrong. Locomotives of all over go straight to the receiving end. It wastes too much time trying to swap out engines. Plus what's the point of doing that???
Lol,Soon I'm gonna change my name to Seaboard Coast Line Productions,I live on the FEC that's near the station on the Hialeah Sub.Danny,Is the Hialeah Sub Ex-SAL/SCL?
Another great video. Hope you had a great Christmas. Love the old Ocala Union Station. If only Amtrak would return. (Of course I doubt that will ever happen) And speaking of Ocala, do you dislike quiet crossings as much as the rest of us? Not only does a quiet crossing take away from the railfan experience, with no horn they're extremely dangerous. (If someone nearby doesn't like train horns, then they need to move!!)
+MrCzechers I dislilke quiet crossings only because of the railfan experience. I'm afraid they're going to be a reality in cities from here on. It's the only way for railroads to co-exist with urban dwellers.
Distant Signal Yeah, I think you're right. However, when my grandparents were alive they lived 2 blocks from the old S line in Jax, south of Evergreen cemetery. Next to the S line was an ACL/SCL local and a Southern local track. Trains went through so often we didn't even notice them.
Danny question when did CSX train start running jumbo covered hoppers and in Palm center the. Auto distribution yard Taft/ Orlando yard Oh and love your videos get up the good work and have a good year first one rail fan to another
Danny, I hope all is well with you. I am, on the other hand, having Distant Signal Withdrawal Syndrome (DSWS). I keep looking for a new video from you.
Hi Danny love your videos on TH-cam i just started watching your video and now I'm a huge fan of your channel i was just wondering if you do a video on different trains and what they do if you don't mind i would like that very much your number 1 fan joey and could u please write me back please thanks again 😊 😊😁
Hi Joey. Thanks very much for subscribing! Yes, I'm trying to get out and do some more videos on what different trains do and where they go.Stay tuned!

That is very professionally done. Great video!
Danny, you and Walter Parks are the 2 best railroad men on You Tube. Watching your videos is a big stress reliever!
+1977SOUTHERNBOY Thanks! I don't know Walter Parks. Send me his TH-cam channel name.
+Distant Signal. Walters channel is PWALPAR. He is a retired railroader. He worked for Southern Railway for over 30 years.
+1977SOUTHERNBOY Oh yes. I have been a subscriber of his for a while. I've only known him as pwalpar though. :-))
Love your videos Danny! I spent my first few years living in Belleview, CSX is still my favorite modern railroad. Grandparents used to own Pat's LP Gas right on Baseline, that's where I'd sit and watch em go by after school
+deerhuntin01 Very cool! I love Belleview. Gotten too crowded now, though.
The shot at 7:24 was amazing! Great videos as always. Thank you very much!

+bhuddaloyd Many thanks Loyd. I'm glad you've enjoyed them.
Two CSX SD70ACE's, a CEFX SD40-2, a BNSF engine, and Standard Cab Dash 8's. That is a hell of a day
No kidding
loved the video. always great, your narration always makes it an A+ product. First week of February I hope to make a run up to the Callahan/Crawford area and maybe even Folkston.
+Brian Ruhlen Thanks very much. Weather permitting, I'm gonna try to get to Waycross on Saturday.
Thanks Danny ! I have seen all of your posted videos. I wanna say to you........ Extraordinary Work !!

2:26 that's an Ex-Amtrak boxcar!
Now a CMHX car
I’ve not heard of Amtrak having boxcars....learned something new!

Another fine production. I wish I had your narration skill set.
Great video! The SD70ACe looks nice in the new boxcar logo paint.
Very great video! The narrations are very nice to have
Another professional quality videeo, Danny. Thanks so much!!
Danny, great job! Love the graphics, thanks for adding the maps. Much appreciated!
terrific video Danny, keep them coming, and have a great new year,
Thank you for sharing your great videos!!!
Great video. I just love that roaring sound of them diesels. Happy New Year fro Denmark !!!
+Gert Ladefoged Yeah, me too, Gert. There's nothing like it. Thanks from Florida!
Excellent video as always Danny
Awesome, as always!! Note that Amtrak boxcar at 2:27!
From 4:34 to 4:44 Is my favorite part of the video
Overall Good job Danny
Good stuff! Always nice to go on a chase right after a holiday.
Very nice! Lots of action after Christmas!
Thank you Danny, another great vid mate.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Wonderful Video, thanks.
Excellent video Danny!
Awesome video as always, Danny!
Excellent, as always!
6:19 Way to go, Danny, you caught a loco that doesn't exist anymore (The YN3B CSX)
You got some incredible catches there!

5:45 That’s what I call “Flyin!”
I love your videos, keep up the good work
Danny watching you from Washington Court House, Ohio
The second catch you got was pretty sweet but the main thing that caught my eye was the Amtrak baggage car
+Dan Zugman Yeah that was pretty cool. Wasn't exactly a baggage car. It's what I call an "AmBox". Boxcar they used for express package business.
Great video like always happy new year too
+Andrew Bowe Thanks Andrew!
Happy New Year Danny !!
Nice work, Danny!
Hope Liz held your dinner and wasn't too mad about you being late!!! LOL!!
I think she is used to dannys hobby by now lol.
Great Video as always ...Loved BNSF power you caught
Love those orange BNSF auto racks.
lemme know if you ever decide to railfan mid MO...I'll drive you around...great work
I love your videos they are so cool
Thanks very much. Glad you enjoy them.
Terrific video!
first train you caught had a Tier 4 locomotive leading ;)
+BBT609 Did not catch that. I had to go back and look at the footage again. Thanks for the catch.
+BBT609 Those ugly tier 4's, gotta love to hate'em
+Distant Signal I also saw an old Amtrak boxcar on the second catch!
+loganbaileysfunwithtrains I though I was the only one that hated them at least I'm not.
+TheThomasSproduction i thought I was the only one that hates them, well that makes two. Welcome to the club
love the video keep them coming
I love rail fanning this video was great

Great video Danny
And nice catch with the BNSF
Is that an Amtrak box car at 2:28 ?
Does K-802's power go all the way to IL? I feel like what that BNSF engine, it would and then they'd take the power off and rearrange it...?
Jon Guiot Probably, Cicero is a BNSF yard and BNSF would most likely take their engine and give the CSX one back.
@@bnsfwarbonnet wrong. Locomotives of all over go straight to the receiving end. It wastes too much time trying to swap out engines. Plus what's the point of doing that???
Nice horn on that juice train!
+1977SOUTHERNBOY Yeah, those SD-70's have killer horns.
"I was a little close", more like I was going to be the plow at the front. Stay safe that was a close one!
great video As always . :)
Mack
Lol,Soon I'm gonna change my name to Seaboard Coast Line Productions,I live on the FEC that's near the station on the Hialeah Sub.Danny,Is the Hialeah Sub Ex-SAL/SCL?
+FECSD70M2 PRODUCTIONS I think it's the Homestead Sub and that would be ex-SAL.
Distant Signal I don't know what station it is, I think it's Oakland park, It's got double tracks and is near a TD Bank,No idea. But thanks!
Happy new years
Very good video

Who's locomotive was the second unit on the phosphate train?
Only just seeing this comment but it is a loco leasing company
Great video Danny, today I actual saw 2 GE C40-8w's in the bone valley over by Fort Meade, you should check it out.
+CentralFlorida Railfan Yes, I hear they've moved some GE's to the Bone Valley. First time in about 30 years.

Another great production! Question, Are you a narrator by trade? Because you do one hell of a job on these videos
+SD70ACEguy Many thanks for such a nice compliment. Yes, I'm a TV announcer by trade. Also a writer/producer.
wow Thats awesome!
How come Q-452 didn't have DPU enginesx since it was over 9000 feet
+Alex Lorenz I'm guessing it's because 452 is mostly empties.
Danny, I hope all is well with you. I am, on the other hand, having Distant Signal Withdrawal Syndrome (DSWS). I keep looking for a new video from you.
+Ernie Bennett Working on it, Ernie. Maybe I'll have one this weekend. Thanks!

Thank you Danny for the great videos to pass the time. I wanted to ask what program/software you use to edit your videos?
+North-Texas Railfan Thanks very much. I've used Final Cut Pro since I started out in 2000. Now I use Final Cut Pro X on an iMac.
Thank you, sadly I am not a Mac user.
have you got a model railway?
No modeling for me. One hobby is all I can afford. Plus, I'm no good at it. I want a train around my Christmas tree and that's it.
At the beginning you said CSX took Christmas off? That sounds odd, I've heard that there are basically no holidays if you're a railroad worker.
+TX Trainiac They try to give the big holidays off to as many employees as possible. Christmas is the biggest of them all.
CSX Autoracks train Q-237 Louisville KY to Tampa FL
CSX Florida rock train K-779 junction city Ga to Coleman FL
CSX fossilised train K-802 Mulberry,Fl to Cicero,IL
I like how the DD in Ocala said "niner" instead of nine. That's kind of funny!
Niner is how its said over the radio. Also the number 3 is pronounced "Tree"
I've still yet to see a CSX ACE
I think CSX only owns 20
Its 19 now. One of them was retired recently, wreck damage if Im not mistaken
Ive seen two in my days so far

nice 56 Crown Vic!
you oughta buy that car danny!!
oh ok
Quiet Zones are stupid!!! Bring horns back! right Danny?
Having to honk horns for idiots who don't realize that railroad tracks mean trains is what is really stupid.
