Sadly the badge on the back is of an older series vehicle and is now a lie, Solihull is no longer in Warwickshire, we’re now in the West Midlands, which isn’t as romantic. It is a cracking looking Lanny though. Although you’d think if they’ve gone to the bother of putting a puma bonnet and bulkhead on it, they’d have put a puma dash in too!
The price of them in the uk is a bit mad too, which unfortunately leads to people stealing them and the security from the factory is pretty much non existent, which means we have to get creative to keep them.
@@hurleylfd Well there are only a few legit builders, what is your idea of a leading restorer of Defenders? They are rare, not talking Ford Fairlane 500 R-code rare, but not sure the last time I saw another 110 at a red light. Not sure how you do not recognize Arkonik as a leading restorer?

A common comment from owners and also the opinion of some Land Rover shops are that the fit and finish of the Arkonik Defenders is not what someone would expect for a $100k+ vehicle. There are a couple of the Arkonik Defenders in my area and I live in a rural area and there are a few in the neighboring large city. There are at least five other rebuild companies that build as good or a better Defender.
