This is the closest I've seen to a tutorial for building the types of puzzle boxes I want to build. Thank you so much for putting this video together. Would you be willing to put together a parts list, or tell me what that type of motor and contact switch are called so I can do more focused digging?

I like the way you set up the electronics in the back of the drawer. I will have to do mine that way next time. On the box I would suggest overlapping the sides over the drawer face. Usually people’s first instinct is to pull on whatever the can. So just make the sides longer and the drawer face shorter.

Igor, perfect project... But i have to tell you, that i miss also, more simple projects, you used to run. I am sure, that anything you make, you make with your own way, so i 'm waiting for more projects, even they are simple or not... Bravo again

I made this box back in November 2019. It is a puzzle box for my friend's escape room. I have included the wiring diagram in my website - www.inspiretomake.com/#/lockbox/

What kind of motor did u use? How exactly did u wired everything so that when u put the drawer back in the motor would reverse to lock it.

Pretty cool minus the ugly drywall screws and plywood but-ended corners.
    It's a good prototype.
Miter the corners and get rid of the screws and you'll have a nice looking puzzle box

Where do you buy your electronics? I'm very new to the craft, but hoping to make something like this, so help is appreciated!

Ok so in numerical order the letters are: GANCGIJHDEKLBOPFMB, wether or not the pieces are in the right place or if that sequence has some significance I do not know
    (Cool build btw!)

So you are using the exposed screws to reverse the motor to close the box again?! 🤔

I just posted a video about an escape room we set up at our church. We did something similar but with a chess board and a drawer.
