Thank you so much Ginger for showing how you attacked the seam binding. I love the look of it on the spine. Just adds that special touch. You are so creative. You are so sweet to share it with all of us. Hugs, Mary
helpful hint; when I am threading seam binding through a small hole, I take a length of floral wire, bend it in half to make a loop, and then you can use it like a needle threader, and pull as many strands through the hole all at once if you want to.
I'm so glad to see how you do this - I've never been able to achieve the "fluffiness" effect and now I'm inspired! I've looked several places and can only find seam binding in the flat packages - they always have fold lines and seem stiff. Where do you shop for seam binding to get that marvelously soft, flexible kind? Thanks for whatever info you can share! As always, I've learned something from you and appreciate you sharing your talent!
Thank you so much , I was wondering about it as i just finished one of your albums using the steampunk spells mine looked like yours! now i know how its done and I can fix it now.
That's a great idea I love the fluffiness! I was wondering how you get your seem binding so nicely died and how do you get it to stay crinkly? I've tried the crinkly thing and it seems like when I heat dry it it takes out most of the wrinkles. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. TFS your ideas they are so helpful and inspiring!!
ceceilia, your seam binding tutorial it has been like a bright in my mini albums, must get the hole puncher .I have made 15 books since i started this pass summer .i mastered the hinge Katy oOrk? need your help in finding this ribbon u used .thankyou

This is 2/16/24 I have a question about how to make the seam binding? How to die it? And what is it made from? Any help would be appreciated I’m new at this. Dawn
hello! I love your work, I'd get one of your albums! I always follow your tutorial, amazing! a board the next time to insert the tape in the 'eye, Traduzione put duct tape on one end, like shoelaces, you'd first! I hope one day to be like you, and be able to buy so many beautiful cards like yours! now I can not!
Thank you, Ginger, for sharing this tutorial. From this tutorial I've learned new things that I can add to my albums. However, I'm stuck on locating the ribbon-like seam binding you use. The only ones I've been able to find, are the ones in the packages ... and they look too stiff and thick to use. Where do you buy yours ??? You're a busy crafter I'm sure .... but can you please reply ... it sure would save me a lot of foot work and computer time. Thanks !!!
margaret schuster I purchase my seam binding online from sewtrue.com. It comes in a 100 yd roll. It's pretty inexpensive. I only purchase the white and dye it myself. Also the seam binding from Stampin' Up is really nice too.
