Peter, I have a 93 Corolla 1.8 7A-FE. The CEL is on. I have tried the jump many times, but the light does not blink. Does the car have to be warmed up first? I have new spark plugs and wires fuel pump and filter (different) pump relay VSV IAC The mechanic cleaned the throttle body and removed (but have not yet replaced) the catalytic converter. The engine quits even with starting fluid sprayed into the throttle. My car still doesn't want to run. I've heard rumors that if the speedometer doesn't work on the 7th gen Toyotas, then it could affect the idle. Is that true? PLEASE! What's left???????????? I LOVE your videos!

Mein ae101 is not entering into diagnostic mode, even though I have jumped these two ports.

Check check engine code 2007 Toyota avalon
You are most welcome
You could not put the interior
Ok
I tried your method on my 96 Toyota Corolla and nothing happened. The check engine light was on but did not blink.
Please connect cables again.
@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor Turns out the car had an OB2 connector anyway. And I had a bad spark plug wire, even though it was only 5 months old.
Use a large paper clip instead of the wire. I couldn't get it to work with wire. My Camry data link is on the opposite side.
What the hell is this dude talking about
hes awesome and has taught me a lot, maybe your ears or brain are broken?
T1 and TE 1 are symbols
Thanks. :-)
