There is something so beautiful about these videos. The peace both in your voice and the manner in which you deliver your story. You seem completely unflustered, and incredibly determined. I also like that you never complain about the limits of your lower powered bike. Most permenantly grumble but you never do. Thank you for entertaining me so much.
So interesting and challenging. While watching your journey across barren land, it makes me wonder how electric scooters or motorcycles could ever replace gasoline powered. I will always feel more confident of gasoline powered vehicles.
I am so impressed with your strength of personality and perseverance. I'm convinced this is 10 times harder than it looks on video. Cheers...You are a legend !!!
Great video👍 the thumbs down must be the person who found the video after buying the Puch Moped, believing it was low mileage after it got back to Austria🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why was i Lucky to not be robbed? Its Not like someone waits around every corner to rob you. And a Moped doesnt make you look rich, rather the opposite.
Maybe you're assuming the worst because you don't understand the language, what the locals were saying was "your bike is so cute, where are you headed, got any smokes". Stuff like that, they were just curious.
Doing this on a 50cc moped is the entire point though......I found it amazing what a 50cc 2 stroke could do watching all of this.....I bought a '99 Tomos to do something similar, I am doing a light resto on the bike over the winter and plan to hit the road summer '22. Not 13,000km worth but weekend type stuff.
Small bike, long travel, see more as you don't need to rush, good thinking and have gut, however did you encounter any engine break down (two stroke?) or tire punctured?
Hey mate, very inspiring how you managed to do on small cc motorcycle. Can you tell me wich time of the year you have been there since there is snow all over the place. Cheers
Yes, mongolia was really good with mobile data. Until I was back from Tajikistan I didn't have any GPS cause the module in my phone failed. Only in tajikistan I had prolonged periods without reception, but anywhere else it was surprisingly good, maybe the odd 30mins without reception while on the road in the middle of nowhere.
Maxi Touring that’s great man! Thanks for the reply. I just wanna let You know you got great content in your videos. Very raw material but with the right amount polishing. I’ll be expecting your new uploads! Most importantly, stay safe!

I love these old Mongolian people. They are so nice and curious about the bike and everything. True gentlemans.
Where did you see any gentlemen .. those two dudes with a motorbike? .. c'mon .. two local drunks just chilling out doing nothing :)))
@@greybeard5774 i don't even remember leaving this comment :D
Seems like you have made more friends along the way who are also traveling.. Glad it was a safe trip.. very inspiring ..
Beautiful trip just a year before Corona hit the Earth.. beautiful footage

Inspiring. I love the idea of small capacity, cheap to run everyday motorcycles for long distance. Take your time, settle in for the ride.

Drei Jahre später aber ich feier diese Videos. RESPEKT 🤗✌️💜

Beautiful journey........I love the choice of your music of Noah Gundersen , I never heard of him. But now I listen to him daily...
Wow..just wow.

Deine Videos sind gut gemacht und toll geschnitten! Fahre morgen mit meiner alten R65 für immerhin zwei wochen nach Frankreich/Spanien zelten

Nice to see it can with a maxi! Are you driving full throttle for long times?
Yes almost always full throttle
I like small bikes but I think you need a few more cc ha.

@@thomash4447 looking forward to watching more. Cheers Jeff
I love this series. Did you do this all on a stock maxi? That carb looks a bit different than the 70s-era bing I have on mine. :-)
Also with all the elevation changes did you have to re-jet?
@@bjf10 It's a stock 14mm Bing, the exhaust is not stock. And yes I had to re-jet quite a bit.
@@maxitouring That makes sense. Yay for the Bing! I have 15mm bings on a couple of my puchs, they're great (if a bit leaky :-) )
@@bjf10 The Bing SRE's are solid and simple carbs, the later ones with the square floater chambers are a lot more problematic.

ja china mit eigenem Kraftfahrzeug einreisen ist richtig schwer bzw braucht viel planung und kohle

Thanks, 1 punctured Tire, changed pistonrings, one broken clutch and a few broken condensers from the ignition, not really anything else.

did you have any kind of phone reception or GPS on the road??
