Love what he said/quoted about humility, actually love the whole talk. It's so very encouraging to me to meet my fears and continue to strive to live my life the way God intended me to live it. Fearlessness is such an important staple to becoming free. I do believe, like the Swami said, that it is impossible to become free without having cultivated fearlessness.

The favourite poem of Daya Mata on Humility has become close to my heart as Brother Jayananda read it through. Thank you Swamiji for sharing it. To face all situations in life evenly with humility by itself is being courageous and placing our utmost Faith on God and Guru.
"Look fear in the face." 50 years ago when I was about 23, I was home alone and heard the metal trashcans outside my bedroom window clang in the middle of the night. I was so scared I couldn't move a muscle. That was not very helpful. I had read the Autobiography but I wasn't yet a member. The next time it happened I recalled Sri Yukteswar's quote about fear. I got up and looked out the window. I saw a cat. I went back to bed and slept peacefully. Over the years now, when I hear a tree rustling outside at night, I get up and look. I've seen racoons, cats, huge lemons that dropped off a tree. It makes me much more brave.
Another wonderful teaching indeed! It is always great to hear master's truthful statements with a witty side to it! Like Danger and I were born together and I am the elder one. I am more dangerous than danger☺️! 🙏🌹JAI GURU🌹🙏
Anxiety about a Dr. Appointment this Friday has been overwhelming!! I frequently seek Masters guidance. I'm new to meditation. Practice the technique he write in "Where there is Light". Today I felt an intense feeling that I should sit in my recliner, close my eyes and rest...I drifted off for a little while, reached for my phone and this was waiting for me!! Exactly what I needed to hear!!! So comforting knowing Master is not far away...
