I watched The Golden Girls for the very first time during the pandemic and I'm not joking when I say that's one of the best and most wholesome comedies I've watched in my entire life. It deserves the number 1 spot in this ranking for me. May all those beautiful and golden souls be resting in peace. Thank you girls for being a friend❤
I always used to watch "The Golden Girls" with my mum and grandma, and we all had a different favourite girl. My grandmother loved Sophia, my mother rated Dorothy, and I liked Rose the best. ❤
The Golden Girls should have been no less than #2! Not only was it fcking hysterical but it was waaaayyy ahead of its time! Also, I’m surprised Will & Grace wasn’t on this list!
The Dick van Dyke Show is a sixties classic. Mary Tyler Moore got her start there, and Morey Amsterdam, Rose Marie, Ann Guilbert as Millie Helper, and Richard Deacon as Mel were all hilarious.
Golden Girls should have been #1. I was disappointed The Nanny and 'Go On' were not even on the list! The Nanny has some of the snappiest and best wordplay I've ever heard on TV!
Surprised that Cheers (1982 - 1993) isn't on this list. Really Gut busting following the Antics of Sam Malone and the regulars at the bar where everybody knows your name. It was must see Comedy from US TV's Golden Age.
It's sad watching this seeing how many talents we've lost. Thank goodness they left us with their shows and laughs. Seinfeld and Friends will always be my favorite go to shows. Thank you for the great list. Golden Girls will never get old!!😊
Omg 😂. You’ve got me giggling and my heart’s feeling so warm ♥️ I adore that about you I’am really much impressed about your personalities 💋. I trust you’re doing amazing. Where are you from ?
Friends not being on this list is a crime. 1. I Love Lucy 2. Friends 3. The Golden Girls 4. Will & Grace 5. 3rd Rock from the Sun 6. That 70s Show 7. Reba 8. The Nanny 9. Schitt's Creek 10. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air
George Lopez (2002-2007) This ABC Sitcom Led by the eponymous comedian Is one of the few primarily Latino sitcoms of all time and deserves more credit for that
Unforgettable Classics: Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Jeffersons, The Office, All in the Family, Seinfeld, I Love Lucy...and one more comedy series not listed (but should have been): Caroline in the City. Comedy gold.😍
Golden Girls is my favorite sitcom of all time. Perfect Strangers was hilarious in the 80s. (first few seasons, then it went downhill). I'm surprised Modern Family wasn't at least an honorable mention.
10. Community 9. The Mary Tyler Moore Show 8. Arrested Developement 7. The Jeffersons 6. Parks and Recreation 5. The Golden Girls 4. The Office 3. All In The Family 2. Seinfeld 1. I Love Lucy
"The golden girls" was the show that made me laugh most. Happy monday afternoon, Kirsten. Take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
1. Frasier 2. Arrested Development 3. 30 Rock 4. The Office 5. Scrubs 6. How I met Your Mother 7. Parks and Recreation 8. Brooklyn 99 9. Community 10. The Nanny
All In The Family, Golden Girls, Three's Company, The Jeffersons, I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, Will And Grace, WKRP In Cincinati, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Married With Children, Malcom In The Middle
You left out: 1) WKRP In Cincinnati. Absolutely hilarious show, whether it was "Johnny Fever" (Howard Hesseman), Jennifer Barlowe (Loni Andersen) or Arthur Carlson (Gordon Jump). Standout episodes include the pilot episode and the great turkey drop. 2) Hogan's Heroes. Was a very sanitized view of what a real prisoner of war camp was like during World War 2, but it also showed that there were Germans that despised the nazis (Sergeant Schultz hated the nazis for taking his much beloved toy factory from him) and that there were Germans who were incompetent (like Colonel Klink) who wore a uniform, but only did the bare minimum to stay out of trouble. 3) Taxi. Judd Hirsch headed this star studded cast, that included Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, Tony Danza and Andy Kaufman. Stand out episodes (look for these clips) Jim Before The Drugs, Jim With Latka's Cookies, "Elaine's Hair and Louie's Revenge" and finally "Taxi-One Night Stand."
Friends should have been #3 on this list & The Big Bang Theory should’ve been #2. The only classic show on this list is I Love Lucy. What about Cheers and Mash? (Mash had an eleven year run. Longer than any show listed.)
The Golden Girls is one of my favorite shows ever!! it was so funny. I always loved it when Rose talked about her hometown St. Olaf. there are a couple of sitcoms that were not mentioned: Roseanne, Three's Company, Mama's Family, Mork & Mindy, Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.
HOW THE HELL IS “THE BIG BANG THEORY” NOT ON THIS LIST!?!” WHAT A DISGRACE!!!! I have fallen on the floor laughing till my ribs hurt at that show more times than I can even count!!!
It's 1,000 times better than Friends. I watched several episodes the other day with a friend. We don't always find the same things funny, but we both love that show!
1. Friends 2. The Office 3. Parks n Rec 4. Golden Girls 5. I love Lucy (Seinfeld should't be on a list at all! Jerry himself looks full of himself, even though he's emotionless, monotonous and uncharismatic...He makes me sleep and makes my body itchy)
I thought it was a great list. But There is no sitcom that I loved and laughed to more than MASH and the fact that it didn't get mentioned is sad. Although I am hoping this is just them not considering it as a sitcom and more as a dramedy than it not making the cut. Also I though Scrubs was a really great 8 season sitcom.
Im absolutely shocked Friends wasn’t even in the top 10. I was literally expecting it to be #1 and then they were just an honorable mention? WOW. Also, some missing off the list and not even an honorable mention include The Big Bang Theory, Cheers, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Family Matters, and Modern Family. But I guess it’s your list… mine would have been significantly different.
I think the sitcoms that made me laugh the hardest are missing on the list: 3rd Rock From The Sun, The Nanny, Frasier, Soap, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Night Court.
Agreed, I always used to love this show, and I never even realised that it took place in the 80's, as it relied more on the characters, without using the setting as a crutch for humour.
Me too. I just saw it as a regular sitcom. The thing I found interesting about the show was that Chris Rock initially wanted the show to be set in the 70s(which would have been cool) which Chris would have been 13 in 1978 and 17 in 1982, but because of the popularity of That 70s Show, he bumped it to a decade later. The soundtrack would have been awesome with 70s staples like the Bee Gees, the Carpenters, Donna Summer, etc, but I enjoy the soundtrack the show would be known for as I enjoyed and still do enjoy 80s music.
Hard to pick just 10, but this is a pretty good list. I’d add to the honorable mentions Hot in Cleveland. Such good writing, great cameos and guest stars, and seasoned talented main cast. And of course, Betty White!
I vote for The George Burns & Gracie Allen Show, The Honeymooners, The Muppet Show, Taxi, The Cosby Show, That 70s Show, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Cheers.
No Frasier? No Cheers? No Will & Grace? No Modern Family? I mean I liked Community, Parks & Rec, and even the Office, but they were not any better than a lot of other sitcoms. Definitely not the same league as I love Lucy and the Golden Girls.
It’s a shame Fresh Prince of Bel-aire isn’t on here. That show still makes me laugh, even though I’ve seen each episode more than 10 times. And MASH as well was hilarious.
MASH Cosby Show Roseanne Two and a Half Men Hot in Cleveland Cheers Frasier Dick Van Dyke Show Fresh Prince of Bel Air Reba Home Improvement Big Bang Theory Three's Company Taxi Sorry MOJO, you really missed the mark with this one
You forgot,: "Harry and the Hendersons", "ALF", "Soap", "Benson", "Mork and Mindy", "Fresh Prince of Bel-air", "The Big Bang Theory", "Happy Days", "Cheers", "Love Boat".
Aww, Sybill should have at least made it into the honorable mentions! Especially when they started opening with some of her fictional commercials and strange acting roles! Haha! Now that I'm reminded of The Golden Girls a great joke pops into my mind about the time Sophia was in the hospital and joke about Rose actually writing "Zulu, Queen of the Gypsies" on her chart!

Living Single didn't even make honorable? Did yall consider any African American shows?
Home Improvement and The Big Bang Theory
@@jcj268 home improvement made me laugh as well.
Cheers, Fresh Prince
Family Matters
The thumbnail is correct. Golden Girls is the best show ever.
*laughs in Always Sunny*
It definitely should have ranked higher than the office I mean come on
Yes it is
It is so timeless in its humor. I don’t think there was a single joke in that show that isn’t still funny today. It deserves to be higher on the list.
Sanford and Son is the funniest sitcom ever
I watched The Golden Girls for the very first time during the pandemic and I'm not joking when I say that's one of the best and most wholesome comedies I've watched in my entire life. It deserves the number 1 spot in this ranking for me.
May all those beautiful and golden souls be resting in peace. Thank you girls for being a friend❤
Golden Girls, Friends, I Love Lucy, all such hilarious classics. They just don't make them like thay used to.
Agreed! And thank you for continuing to support our channel!
I always used to watch "The Golden Girls" with my mum and grandma, and we all had a different favourite girl. My grandmother loved Sophia, my mother rated Dorothy, and I liked Rose the best. ❤
same with my mom and grandma! my mom and i still have it on all day sundays on a tv land marathon
I just watched The Nanny for the first time this past fall and was so great!!!
Frasier is always able to make me laugh. Good one-liners and the actors work off each other perfectly.
Frasier's humor was witty and sophisticatedly funny, we don't except everyone to appreciate it but the best ones do.
I think it’s a profoundly better show than Cheers, from one of my least favorite characters on Cheers.
Golden Girls will never get old!!😊
Everybody Loves Raymond should be on here!!!
They said "funniest"
@@jr22hon I know, but I’m just stating my opinion.
Huh? Raymond was hilarious! It definitely should of been on here.
Mama family should be there
I was wondering when, the list was going to get to 'I Love Lucy'. I sighed in relief knowing it's number ONE!
Omg 😂. You’ve got me giggling and my heart’s feeling so warm ♥️ I adore that about you I’am really much impressed about your personalities 💋. I trust you’re doing amazing. Where are you from ?
The Golden Girls is indeed the best sitcom show ever
Frasier was the funniest sitcom
Agree Friends should be in the top 10. Also The Dick Van Dyke Show, Three's Company, Big Bang Theory, Night Court
No Full House, no The Nanny, no Step by Step, no Family Matters. All great sitcoms.
Definitely agree but Where's Frasier? That was a great show too!

George Lopez (2002-2007) This ABC Sitcom Led by the eponymous comedian Is one of the few primarily Latino sitcoms of all time and deserves more credit for that
It's actually considered the first successful latino sitcoms
Unforgettable Classics: Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Jeffersons, The Office, All in the Family, Seinfeld, I Love Lucy...and one more comedy series not listed (but should have been): Caroline in the City. Comedy gold.😍
Golden Girls, Office, love 'em all 😂😂😂.
Golden Girls is my favorite sitcom of all time. Perfect Strangers was hilarious in the 80s. (first few seasons, then it went downhill). I'm surprised Modern Family wasn't at least an honorable mention.

The golden girls and the nanny always crack me up 😂😂😂😂
Modern Family And The Big Bang Theory Should Be On The List
"OH MY GOD"! How is #Friends not in the Top 10!
I LOVE abbot 😂. Ava is hysterical
Everybody Loves Raymond!
WKRP in Cincinnati
Barney Miller
Living single > friends
No Frasier????
Bob Newhart, old and new shows.
Loved them both.
Not having Modern Family and Big Bang Theory, then putting Abbott Elementary and Friends in honourable mentions, you guys need to be arrested😂
1. Frasier
2. Arrested Development
3. 30 Rock
4. The Office
5. Scrubs
6. How I met Your Mother
7. Parks and Recreation

10. The Nanny
All In The Family, Golden Girls, Three's Company, The Jeffersons, I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, Will And Grace, WKRP In Cincinati, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Married With Children, Malcom In The Middle
Malcolm in the middle is overlooked constantly. It's such a raw look at how most of us grew up
Sanford and Son should of be on the list not only the show is funny but groundbreaking too.
Friends got a honorable mention it should been in the main pics
No. It’s overrated and just turned into shouting catchphrases at each other.
You left out:
1) WKRP In Cincinnati.

Ooh, I forgot Taxi on my (own personal) list. In that same vein, Barney Miller.
@@HeronCoyote1234 I knew I was forgetting something. Barney Miller-YES!!
@veronicaa.1416 s-l-o-w down!!
You can come watch TV with me. These are all my favorites as well.
Friends should have been #3 on this list & The Big Bang Theory should’ve been #2. The only classic show on this list is I Love Lucy. What about Cheers and Mash? (Mash had an eleven year run. Longer than any show listed.)
I only agree with numbers 9, 5, and 1 on this list. You can’t go wrong with the classics.
The Golden Girls is one of my favorite shows ever!! it was so funny.
I always loved it when Rose talked about her hometown St. Olaf.
there are a couple of sitcoms that were not mentioned: Roseanne, Three's
Company, Mama's Family, Mork & Mindy, Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.
One word: CHEERS
HOW THE HELL IS “THE BIG BANG THEORY” NOT ON THIS LIST!?!” WHAT A DISGRACE!!!! I have fallen on the floor laughing till my ribs hurt at that show more times than I can even count!!!
Big Bang Theory didn’t have that wide of an appeal. Maybe if it were a top 20 list.
TBBT is incomparable! My personal número uno forever and ever!
I think the original run of Rosanne deserved to be on this list
Everybody Loves Raymond was the best. The situations were so relatable and the cast was incredible.
Growing up we loved The Honeymooners. Ralph and Norton blundering their way through life. So grateful MeTV has picked it up!
I was annoyed Friends didn’t make this list but y’all made up for it by making Queen Lucy the top spot. ❤️
Big Bang Theory, New Girl (a new, improved Friends IMHO), Fresh Prince of Belair, Andy Griffith Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, Brooklyn 99 + I
One of the most on point lists Mojo has ever done. Well done, Mojo.
Not sure who made this list but MASH should have been included!
The fact that Living Single didn’t make it on the list is an insult!
It's 1,000 times better than Friends. I watched several episodes the other day with a friend. We don't always find the same things funny, but we both love that show!
George Lopez deserves at least an honorable mention.
The chuckles the clown episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show is hilarious and one of my favorite episodes.
Remember watching that episode, as a kid, with my family. My mom laughed hysterically. A classic episode.
I Love Lucy is just the greatest i still watch it today never fails to be entertaining and hilarious
That number one spot was well deserved ♥️
Golden Girls and I love Lucy. My classic!
Golden Girls is by far the #1 sitcom followed by maybe Will and Grace.
1. Friends
2. The Office
3. Parks n Rec
4. Golden Girls
5. I love Lucy
(Seinfeld should't be on a list at all! Jerry himself looks full of himself, even though he's emotionless, monotonous and uncharismatic...He makes me sleep and makes my body itchy)
My top 3 favorite sitcoms are Baby Daddy, Just Shoot Me! and The Big Bang Theory 🤣💕📺
I think you could count on one hand how many others (myself included) watched, and loved, Just Shoot Me.
Number one I love it
Will and Grace, I Love Lucy, The Golden Girls
I thought it was a great list. But There is no sitcom that I loved and laughed to more than MASH and the fact that it didn't get mentioned is sad. Although I am hoping this is just them not considering it as a sitcom and more as a dramedy than it not making the cut. Also I though Scrubs was a really great 8 season sitcom.

Malcolm in the Middle
Married…. With Children
My Wife & Kids
The Big Bang Theory
You forgot "Big Bang Theory", "WKRP in Cincinnai" and "Happy Days"
I think the sitcoms that made me laugh the hardest are missing on the list: 3rd Rock From The Sun, The Nanny, Frasier, Soap, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Night Court.
Golden Girls, Frasier, Happy Days, Family Ties and Family Matters
Once again you dissed the funniest and best sitcom of all time The Big Bang Theory
👊🏿 "The Boondocks" (2005-2014)
Everybody Hates Chris hands down! Never fails to make me laugh. Rest in peace to Ricky Harris, who played Malvo on the show.
Agreed, I always used to love this show, and I never even realised that it took place in the 80's, as it relied more on the characters, without using the setting as a crutch for humour.
it was hilarious to me as indian.. it was a look into american households and schools lol
@kamsismith cool. I probably would have liked the show more set in the 70s because I dislike the 80s lol. Loved Julius and Rochelle though
It's a crime, that "the Nanny" isn't even an honorable mention!

I doubt many people owadays have seen the Burns and Allen show, but it was crazily funny. I'd also vote for Cheers.
Burns and Allen for sure!
No Frasier? No Cheers? No Will & Grace? No Modern Family? I mean I liked Community, Parks & Rec, and even the Office, but they were not any better than a lot of other sitcoms. Definitely not the same league as I love Lucy and the Golden Girls.
I love The Golden Girls, it makes me laugh a lot
Fresh Prince
It’s a shame Fresh Prince of Bel-aire isn’t on here. That show still makes me laugh, even though I’ve seen each episode more than 10 times. And MASH as well was hilarious.
Yes I love Golden Girls, Community, Arrested Development, and The Office but where’s Taxi and Curb Your Enthusiasm?
The "awkward moment" was the genius of the Mary Tyler Moore Show... KDM
The Golden Girls started when I was 11. Made a huge contribution to my personality.
No no, the top 4 for me are The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, I Love Lucy & The Golden Girls
NINE NINE!
“Mike & Molly”, “Frasier”, and “2 Broke Girls” are all good sitcoms I find myself returning to. Ooh, and we can’t forget “That 70’s Show.”
Indeed, Frasier should have at least received an honourable mention.

Cheers
Frasier
Dick Van Dyke Show
Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Reba
Home Improvement
Big Bang Theory
Three's Company

Three's Company should have made the list
I honestly don't see the hype about Seinfeld. I tried watching. I admit I chuckled a bit, but never full on laughed.
