Usually I hate all the music that is added to videos here on youtube, (especially flying movies) but this I experienced as really really good for some reason .. I am surprised but grateful ..

Same movie that has the birdstrike video! The landing over the cars etc. Both very good vids. A vagrant thought crossed my mind while watching this one. Has anyone tried a horizontal Pugachev Cobra? Not close to the ground, of course.

@sadanjd It's called a dogfight because they are chasing each others tail. Of course today in the age of BVR off-bore-sight all-aspect missiles being being the opponents tail is rarely require to secure a kill.
Ludwig van Beethoven, 6th Symphony, 3rd Movement, titled "The Storm" Beethoven tries to emulate the lightnings with violins and thunderbolts with drums. Infact the meaning of Swedish word Viggen is...Thunderbolt. Appropriate choice.

Wrong. Both the Swedish SAAB 35 Draken and SAAB 37 Viggen intercepted and cought up with the SR 71 Blackbird more than ten times, but Viggen is the only plane that locked the missiles on it at one accation. I know the pilots =)

Only two ever made and shares no similarity to the Viggen what so ever. Nice try tho. I give you my "Most pathetic on TH-cam" award.

they are designed to be able to land on roads like that because if the runways gets destroyed you have to be able to land and refuel in other places.

A Blackbird passed outside of Sweden in the 80's and a Viggen got a lock on. Sweden got congratulated from the US because of that :)
