I've built more drum stuff and here's a little video about them!
The little wood pieces in the 8" snare (you can see these briefly in the intro) were just an experiment, I tested if it made a difference in the sound when the screws and the shell had a contact, but it didn't! But I couldn't bother to take them out, as they made no difference! I accidentally forgot to include this info in the edit lol

Like I say in the video, I used my DIY dynamic mics as microphones for the demo clips! Here's a video if you wanna build one yourself! It's easy and cheap yay! • cigar box SM57 mic
Oh yeah and all the synth sounds of the demo song come from the diy modular synth! I realised it might not be clear to everyone, cause a lot of the time I'm not even looking at the synth and just playing the controller on my lap hahah

I really hope you'll release drumkits/samplepacks. Would love this to be a new wave, making and recording custom drums to use within audio production!
Thats a good idea! I might start collecting some samples whenever i record the drums and eventually put out a little sample pack 😎 I did make a sample pack of some sounds from my analog modular drum machine, you can find the samples in the drum machine videos descriptions!

Hey! The pedal is half of an old Pearl double pedal i got for free from an old friend who used to play the drums as a teenager! I don’t know the exact model but with a quick google search i think it might be P100TW. The fluff is a sock 🧦🧦🧦
