The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

The skill and concentration he had for one of these, let alone both… he is the definition in impressive.
This is talent, this is the show
Keitä he ovat tehneet yhteistyötä eri tavalla ja se oli ihan hyvin menee niin että ei se mitään uutta tsemppiä sinne
my mind is blown, so this is where South Park's Jenifer Lopez/Mitch conner is based on.
I always thought they created the most original joke ever... but it turns out it was based on Senor Wences all this time.
Those plate spinning years. So much fun for a kid to see..
As a professional entertainer I get a bit annoyed when people say the kids would love that ,adults would too but they pretend they're too sophisticated to be entertained lol
I used to work with someone older than I am. And one day there was a package at the desk for me to take to one of the residents. When I told her I took the package back, she asked "wasn't it heavy?" and I said, "heavy for you, not heavy for meeee!" We Both laughed and she asked "How do you know about that? That was years before you were born!"
Amazing....I wish to be there again!
Holy cats! This man had talent!
Man, that takes me back! They don't make em like that anymore.
Pure genius!
"'S'alright."
Este lo tenía todo.
Qué calidad!!!!
As I kid, I don't think I realized the incredible difficulty of this act. Incredible skill and artistry
It"s EASY.
For you, easy. for me, difficult.@@MarkSmith-nw4os
Good plate spinning, excellent ventroqulism. Loved him as a kid. You pretty literally much see specialty acts like this in the US any more outside of the occasional burlesque show or specialty "circus" like Teatro Zinzani
Oh this is where South Park got this idea for Jennifer Lopez
I remember watching Ed Sullivan shows and he was sort of a regular. All the time both kids and adults would mimic that "All right? S'ALLRIGHT!" exchange.
This was very funny I loved it....
Ohh. This is where South Park stole the Jennifer Lopez gag from.
Its called a parody
Who knew he also was a plate spinner?
taco taco taco
burrito burrito
fullfill all your wishes with my taco flavored kisses
Mitch Connor is that you
Wow
Wowzer
How fascinating... How does he do the head with his hand?
Make a fist, now move your thumb knuckle up and down for the mouth.
A lever in the back. Interesting fact. Pedro was created when the dummy was destroyed in a train accident. Señor Wences put the head in a box and a new character was born.
I'd forgotten all about the plate spinning.
S' right?
He loses me at the plate spinning lol stick to the ventriloquism lol that's funny
