Mess Kit Canteen- Cooking Pork chops in a Vintage 1950's-60's Boy Scout mess kit.

I used the 1964 Boy Scout Handbook to find a Recipe to cook in my mess kit, I cooked Fried Pork Chops and Fried Tomatoes. I added mashed potatoes to my recipe and all together this meal was really good.

I was in cub scouts about 5 minuets and then taken out before I could do any of this stuff, I'm a firm believer that is why I'm doing it now lol. My oldest son Eagled out and my youngest is a Webelo and I do stuff like this with him.
