Wow, wow, wow!! That is A LOT of elbow grease. Every surface- walls, ceiling, floor boards, light fixtures, windows, curtains had to be cleaned and disinfected. Great work uncovering this 1980s beauty! ❤
FYI at 5:07 we can hear your music playing. Just so you know, if TH-cam hears it they will demonitize this video. It's a copywrite infringement or something like that. So just beware, they can be really strict about stuff like that. Content creators work hard enough as it is for the little bit of coin you get per video, without TH-cam making it harder by taking your adds away. Just a friendly warning as i wasn't sure if you knew or not. Keep up the fantastic work. Im slowly making my way through all of your videos tonight and so far I'm really enjoying what you're doing. Cheers from North Brissy! Julie

Well done on being so willing to put in the hard work to bring this home back to it's glory. What a great project! I highly recommend getting some professionals in to tackle the mould issues within the home. It can make you very very sick to be living in a home with such a big mould problem. I lived in one with hidden mould and got very sick (research CIRS- chronic inflammatory response syndrome).
Me, I wouldn't bother getting mould professionals. Any timbers, gyprock and anything else porous would simply get ripped out and replaced. So much easier and less worry for me that it'll come back .
Loving your videos. With the grout in the bathrooms, buy the 2l yellow bottle of long life grout cleaner from bunnings. Spray the grout, leave for 10mins, scrub with a grout brush, sponge clean then mop floors. The next day, they are white and have a mould barrier. We used it thinking our tile grout was black but it's white. Brilliant product. For showers we used white King mould and scum, also Brilliant ❤
AGAIN an amazing job, through hard work. So sas to think the previous Owners has no one to care for their property after they passed over. They are lucky you have seen the beauty and will take care of the property moving forward, we'll done & best wishes on your journey. 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺🦘🐨
Wow !! I don’t even know you guys and I feel proud for you , amazing work. So glad that main bathroom was just surface dirt . And another awesome bed ❤Also in 1989 I was a teenager having my first child lol .aww Lord Walter 😊
Thank you so much!! We love the beds! 😍 and we love Lord Walter! And so blessed to have him here! He is the best!! and thank you for sharing the journey with us!
What were the “hand pens” at 4:03? Your channel just popped up on my recommended list and I’ve been binge-watching it this evening. I hope you managed to get the mould sorted. Bleach doesn’t kill it, it just makes it white. You’re doing an awesome job. I love that you’re trying to re-use as much as possible.
Your channel just popped up, fascinating watching your incredible transformations. So much energy and drive to get your hone looking as you want it. What really astonishes me is that in such abtropical climate you have fitted carpets. Im in Spain where its tiles or laminate on the floors. Love your cheerful and positive commentary.
Suggestion: Dont rip out the kitchen, just remove the cupboard handles and replace, and scuff up the doors, skim with filler and spray paint them as desired. Spend $$ on high end caesarstone/quartzstone benchtops and it will look a million dollars.
Fantastic job guy’s, Im proud of ya’s, good to see people doing some real work & getting their hands dirty to accomplish such a great goal, so many people now days will just tear it all up because they are too weak to put in a bit of effort, it’s just too hard or its not pretty enough. You are doing the right thing, clean it up & see what you have got before making any other expensive decisions or mods. Q. How long have you been working on this project now since handover? Ur making a lot of headway. Cheers.
I wish i could do something like this. I always imagine it but I'm allergic to dust mites. Lol I get so sick just not having dusted in 4 weeks, but I'd love to delegate the tasks in a place like this 😂 so satisfying
What a huge difference. Why aren't you wearing masks, and in some parts, gloves. Wouldn't take off my shoes either with all those needles around. Hope you remove those rugs. They look worn and filthy. Looking forward to next video.
You guys are doing an amazing job! However, after finding that dead rat, i would've had to rip up all of that carpet in there! Otherwise i could never go in there again without thinking about it and being sure i could smell it! Whether i could actually smell it or not! Lol. Not to mention all if it's dead rat juices running into the underlay! But that's just me, each to their own.
I seriously doubt that, if they were smokers the staining would be more prominent on the ceilings, & she has said previously that there was no evidence of smokers throughout the house. JMO
Incredible effort guys! I would have taken the easy road and removed the carpets etc. You just proved what some hard work can achieve. I was gob-smacked. Next time you head north, feel free to pop into the Manor and say hello!
Can see the potential of a cute transformed house. Would liked to have known how much you paid for it. Dont have a computer, watching on smart TV, havent been able to find descriptions on it, if it's in there. Would have been good to see the before + after at same time. Hope you are going to show us the transformed results, will be interesting to see how creative you actually are
P.S. vandals, like squatters, are criminals, should be fined, or jailed, or both, if caught. People need outside cameras to catch them in the act. They destroy good condition premises. What sound minded person would leave pins all over the place, unless they are mentally deranged. They seem like they want to hurt people with their pins - what destructive vindictive insanity, otherwise - why? What would be their reason for doing that, just to be very very annoying?

Thanks for the tip! 😁
@@UNXPIR3D no probs Marty
Thick yellow staining is probably years of smoking. It's disgusting moving into a house after a smoker. You guys are doing so well.
WoW!! What a job !!! Well done 👍 that was a mammoth task. I know. Ive done it !!!
Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🌺🌺🌺

Incidentally, my mother and stepdad honeymooned in Montville back in the 90s. They absolutely loved it!
Love both beds!
A rude question i know. What did the house cost to buy. I am sure i am not the only one curious. I would have bought it too what a great property.
I couldn’t handle the carpets lol I’d have 2 rip it all out & paint walls, the antique bed is stunning!!! Your so lucky they’re worth a fortune ❤
wow what a wonderful gem you have found under the debris!! so glad you are making the effort to bring this lovely home back to life.
I live close by.

Are you sure the house was built in the 1990s? The decor has much more of a mid-80s vibe to me.

It's looking so good. Even though it's so filthy, it's good to know that it's only dirt and not worse conditions.
How exciting!! I’m so glad to find your channel!!❤

Another gorgeous bed! Good score 😊 Your making excellent progress with it all.
Looks great however new carpets & I hope a new mattress for the 4 poster bed.

Congratulations its all worth it in the long run, Your Doing a fantastic job 👏 👍
So happy for you guys!👏👏👏👏👍👊🤩😊🥇
Thank you!! And thank you for sharing in the journey 😁
I believe the former tenants were smokers and the sticky yellow on the doors was nicotine.
I seriously doubt that, if they were smokers the staining would be more prominent on the ceilings, & she has said previously that there was no evidence of smokers throughout the house. JMO
March 1989 I wasn't even 1!
I was 5 in 1989 😂 so i was chillin

A great find and I'm wondering if it's built on a slab or if there might be polished boards as many homes back then had floorboards.
In the mid- to late 1980s? I'd think the tiles are original, the carpet in the bedrooms probably too.
Да эти покрытия сорвать и сжечь в утиль на свалку от их вони задохнуться можно
Почему вы не снимаете эти грязные половые ковры или покрытия.
Do you want to sell those watches? Cheers
Get some screens on window, a doors.
