Maybe the stepping stones you had out the front from the first slap to make it like a hop scotch. That would be funny and a fun to do and put a smile on your face before going inside,

This is the first time ever I've seen a tape measure marked in millimetres! The ones we get in central Europe are all centimetres (obviously with small lines for millimetres but no numbers).
FYI - the 2nd Concretor has installed the 75mm ableflex to the wrong height. The current installation now concrete abutting the brickwork below the Ableflex in effect nullifying the articulation from the home. Note - I am in Independant Inspector based in Victoria. This is a common defect I see when inspecting concrete preparation before pour.
It’s a sad state of affairs in the trades games now days & it’s hard to find someone who can even flatten off a bit of mud anymore without stuffing it up.

What a nightmare for you. I would report the 1st concrete mob to Consumer Affairs. The REO should sit on reinforcing bar caps. Keep the water up with watering the turf for the next 7 days, especially if windy. But not too too much, you dont want it rotting.
I live in a tropical climate and we have to keep out dirt down to the foundations due to termites. We had to go all around the house and dig away the dirt up against the bricks away down to an inch below the start of the stab foundation.
When I saw that first lot of concrete going down I was thinking that the consistency looked wrong - it looked way too dry - and yes the rio wasn’t raised - shame you had to go through that 😢

Looking forward to the driveway & boat ramp builds. I seen that imediately that it had No Bar Chairs, but it did have Able flex in places, even the formwork was wrong. I hope you never paid the Concreters

I hate seeing people get ripped off by cowboys. Second lot of concreters were only marginally better. No compacted base material below the concrete, barely thick enough and not enough chairs. The place is looking incredible compared to when you got it though. Well done!

Have your thought about restoring your roof. Repaint, colourbond? My husband restores roofs, we live in WA but can certainly give advise😊 especially after the concrete fiasco !
