- Omni-Man might have started out as a Superman archetype - but it turned out pretty quickly that he had absolutely no problem with killing other heroes. Not very Superman of him, but it did make him a whole lot like another evil Superman out there. Homelander. Now Omni-Man vs Homelander has been endlessly debated - but I think the more interesting question now is if Omni-Man could pull off something similar to what he did with the Guardians? Could Omni-Man defeat the Seven - maybe even with Soldier Boy and Stormfront thrown in there for good measure? Well let’s get into it!

This scene wasnt in the comic because it didn't make any sense, we see that pretty fast mark became much stronger than any of the previous guardians (since he is stronger than immortal, and he was strongest of them) and at that point he is nowhere near nolan's strenght. You see nolan literally obliterate a civilisation by flying by fast (later in the comic it is explained that you can train flying by constantly pushing yourself to your limits and he had thousands of years to do so) They died fast because they stood no chance, in the show this scene just feels wrong. He would clap hard enough and they would die to the shockwave.
I mean you also can't forget he's basically a super powered batman in terms of fighting skill. He's a soldier who has been training his skills for hundreds of years.

Didn't Omniman already do that in his own series when he annihilated his own team in the series. They had comparable powers as The Boys except super strength, and he still killed all in one fight.
The Guardians were much better than the Seven, they were an actual team for one. I expect the Seven would be too busy running away to actually fight in any meaningful way.
They also had greater techniques, legitimately fight for others and justice like true heroes, and Omni-Man canonically would’ve lost if they had a better strategy.

Remember when Homelander in season 2 gets hit by the bus. He gets smashed through the ground and the Boys manage to escape from that. He didn’t take any damage, but he was still moved by it at the very least.
Nolan casually blasts his way through an entire train. The train literally tears itself apart around him, and he’s just casually floating there like it’s made of water.
He simply was using his flight to be unmovable, Nolan could get lifted by a fit man if he lets them do it

About the speed comparison: when something is traveling through space it will keep gaining speed because of inertia.
Max speed within a vaccuum will always be greater because its essential infinite depending on the timeframe

Because if something is accelerating in a vacuum it will just keep gaining speed because there is no wind resistance/planet gravity. So its not really a feat.

Almost all superheros in the boys universe rely on their powers too much.
On viltrum, they are trained by others of similar strength or stronger. Also I have a feeling that the training regiment for viltrumites is not to be scoffed at. Durability or strength doesn't matter if you don't develop the skill.

What I like about The Boys universe is that it is more grounded and well balanced with no over the top shenanigans, which also the reason why so many can easily beat them, but it does make for a higher personal stakes stories which is a good thing.
The Texas sized asteroid mentioned in the video would be roughly 5e+20 or 500 quintillion british tones assuming for a 2 grams per cubic centimeter dense asteroid. That is exponentially above the quoted millions in the video. In fact it is 500x1million to the power of 3. This is probably one of his best feats bc stopping an asteroid like this going well above mach 30 on the low end is so much stronger than what people give it credit for. With this strength omniman would be able to literally flick his finger and instantly explode homelander from the force.
What should also be considered is that the guardians were holding back until the very end of the fight since they thought omni man was being mind controlled. For most of that fight they were injuring him and they werent putting in full effort. Couple this with them already being several magnitudes stronger than the 7 and you can really see how powerful they and by extension omni man is
Maybe the only Boys character who could do something is Hughie's dad as he can phase through objects and phase into other people as he did it in the show. I wonder what would happen if he'd phase inside Omni Man (or Homelander for that matter, maybe this was unexplored for a reason). It's not clear if Omni Man is squishy enough from the inside.

Something that people don't realize in the fight between Omni men and the guardian is that he wanted to be nearly beaten. He wanted to tell the story that they got attacked and only he survived. If he wanted to, he would have ended things in about 10 seconds

At least under the Vitrimite Empire, you have worth. Not much, but you are under the protection of the empire. Another race or group comes by starting trouble, is going to get brutally curbstomped with the added "this planet is not yours to conquer ".

I would say no. Batman has to spend all day running his billion dollar company. And then all evening making and designing and maintaining all his super high tech equipment. And then all night fighting crime. And then he must slip into a pocket dimension where time doesn't exist to train another 24 hours to be the best martial artist in every discipline in the entire universe, and then another 24 hour equivalent preparing his contingency plans against every single living thing in the universe. That's 72 hours a day and WE EVEN HAVEN"T COVERED THE 16 HOURS SLEEP HE NEEDS TO RECOVER! Plus Batman never gets injured somehow or fully recovers instantly. ACL tears must be non-existent if you are Batman. Don't forget the most important part, Batman is just a normal human. LOL

Omni-Man, like any other matured Viltrumite, would annihilate the entire bunch within seconds, Homelander included. Viltrumites can survive within close proximity to a star and will only ever start to (slowly) take demage when submerged in it. Black Noir, Homelanders identical clone, was ultimately blown to bits via high-caliber military weaponry.

Another good reason for Omni man. The seven don’t ever actually fight anyone comparable to them. Every single supe besides like 3 are all working for vought. They have no actual combat skill besides their powers which are minuscule compared to Omni man

Stormfront is not as strong as Homelander. She took Homelanders' eye lasers only because he wasn't using them at full strength. This is why Ryan (Homelander's son)nearly killed her with his eye lasers, and he was still very new to using his powers. Heck, it might have been the first time he ever tried to attack someone with them.
Also isn't a bit dishonest to keep talking about Omniman beating up Invincible? Those seens took place just after Invincible first got his powers, and he clearly wasn't good at using them even for a while after that.
Maybe one day they can make an amalgam universe with the two properties????????
