There's no indication that Homelander would be immune to any nonphysical attacks. Cognitohazards, memetic kill agents, thaumaturgy, paranormal/theological anomalies, etc. His fragile mental state could mean he's even more susceptible to them. Omicron-Rho could attack him in his sleep.
Queen mave (idk how to spell it) stabbed through homelander's flesh with a metal drinking straw, without even causing any damage to the straw. So considering what the foundation deals with,not even mentioning something like 682, I think it's safe to say they got what it takes to contain Homelander. If not outright kill him.

They have several anomalous pieces of equipment that could take Homelander out. Their coffee machine could simply provide a "cup of Homelander's brain" The Nerfing Gun could be used to depower him. Dr Bright could simply become him, using 963 682...Homelander can't kill it. The little girl would cause Homelander to die The witch child could use a spell to kill or depower him 343...Exists. I don't think I need to specify any particular way that 343 could do it, just...He exists. The old man could bury Homelander in his pocket dimension 999, or "the Eye Pods", could neutralize him in the same way they do 682. Fuck, there's the orbital satellite gun that assassinates dictators. The second Homelander tries to take over, bang. then there's the location-based anomalies, like the infinite Ikea, or the library, where Homelander could just be shunted off to. There's no way for Homelander to win here. The SCP foundation just has too many nonphysical ways of dealing with him.
It is my own personal opinion that the SCP Foundation's MTFs - Hammer Down and Samsara in particular - could absolutely curbstomp Homelander given how the The Boys comic ends
The last SCP experiment did not gaslight Homelander. The experiment himself made Homelander see what he really is, and that does not equal to gaslighting, but that is called "being real", but with "mirroring" tactic.
Throw 682 at him, trick him into touching 409, trick him into getting too close to the Gate Guardian, allow Dr. Bright to just do whatever the heck he wants to him... honestly there's no end to the options the SCP Foundation has to deal with Homelander. :P

Two other options for this, ask 343 nicely to handle Homelander, or show him a picture of 096 and enjoy watching him spending the rest of his life running.
Unfortunately that’s not really an option Homelander can fly away into populated areas and cause untold damage by causing a lot of people to see it’s face . All it takes is a few pics going around social media and that thing will never calm down

That's not the same as fighting a being with Superman strength and speed and powers. SCP-682 can still be contained. It's not strong enough to break out by itself unless it is being used as an experiment. Homelander on the other hand, can break out of anything.

there's so many anomalies that bypass the traditional idea of being strong that they wouldn't need to sacrifice people, robots, recourses to take him down. If anything they could test a couple SCPs they've been trying to get rid of anyway on him first then use some real reality warping/command effects on him.
Dr. Bright saves the day! For that, he will recieve 1 Hour of free-time to do whatever he wants... not like he follows the rules anyways so he does whatever he wants regardless.

Here’s the thing that puts this whole issue to rest It’s said that in the boys, humanity doesn’t have any sort of way to kill homelander should he go rouge. The SCP foundation can casually lock up entities that threaten to destroy reality and are easily above homelander’s abilities.
Send out a message claiming there is a weapon that could destroy homelander at the location for the Garden of Eden would cause him to fly there and get wiped out by urial. Hell could even find a way to get him to turn himself into Dr. Bright as terrifying as that sounds getting homelander's body isn't the worst thing he would have done.
Or just do an entry for homelander but give it exaggerated feats and unrealistic dialogue. The wikidot moderators will remove the article and consequently remove homelander from the narrative

Laser vision is actually hilariously easy to defeat. You need three mirrors, arranged in a corner cube reflector. This will result in the lasers being sent right back to where they came from.

One thing a lot of people forget that even with all its flaws and failure the scp foundation same as the goc are master at killing and if something could be and needed to be killed they would kill it with terrific efficiency

Vought was incredibly secretive until making a very public debut with Soldier Boy in WWII, and the foundation couldn’t very well take Soldier Boy from the US army, and by the time the war ended, Soldier Boy was so ubiquitous that it would be impossible to amnesticize everyone who knew about him, because *everyone* knew about him. Considering that Even Black Noir didn’t know about Compound V until the leaks, it’s safe to say Vaught kept the secret of exactly how they created Supes a very tightly guarded secret that only a select few at the very top of the company were privy to. By the time a foundation plant worked their way high enough to find out about it, it’d probably already be too late to stop it, Soldier Boy no longer a unique anomaly, but simply the first of countless that were being churned out and paraded around for public consumption, at that point, what can the foundation do? They can’t expose compound V to the world, that would mean further exposing the anomalous world to the public. They can’t contain every Supe, that would be far too conspicuous. Even if they confiscated or destroyed all existing samples of Compound V, Vaught can just make more.
I can't believe that people are actually carrying on the old legacy and rivalry of Amazon and the foundation... I remember getting to know about that the first time by you only, in that old video... The one where Dr. Bright explains to a newbie how they ordered too much stuff for the SCPs and even the worst SCPs became peaceful ones, but then Amazon got to know about the location of SCP sights, so they raided them... Still remember quite a lot of it, particularly considering I watched it less than a week after it was published LOL

Honestly only reality warper tier characters have any shot, but even the SCP universe has reality warpers so it’d be a very uphill battle. Pure power wouldn’t be enough, it’d have to be someone with hax abilities of their own or ways to counter a variety of hax abilities. The SCP Foundation itself is one thing but going up against the entire SCP universe would be brutal.
There's so many ways that Homelander would lose to the SCP foundation, but I really like the idea of using *THE SPECTER* against him. It feels incredibly thematic to have him lose to the ultimate superhero, rather than an anomalous weapon or random entity of mass power. Personally, I think the Dragonslayer was a bit of a bad choice, compared to all the other weapons they could have used. Perhaps it was needed to cause enough of a spectacle that it would call in *THE SPECTER,* but I still feel like using a weapon made for a giant in order to fight something that was strong enough to break through and small enough to avoid all sources of damage was an _incredibly_ poor call.
The dragonslayer's railguns move several times the speed of homelander. He wouldn't even be able to dodge. For instance, we see homelander moving at like supersonic speeds, so, we could assume mach 2 which would be 2,250.08 feet per second where as a railgun (not anomalous) can shoot projectiles at 52,493 feet per second. Literally homelander would vaporize on impact.
I think the main reason would be the cold iron sword. Homelander has an insane defense and increased healing. I dont think they really intended it to win but to severely weaken homelander. The cuts on his hands and chest would never heal no matter how much medicine or healing factor you have which ultimately would weaken any strikes he has with his hand and would slow his movements quite a bit, of course, it didnt slow him enough but it certainly helped and was a good attempt. Of course i do agree that a smaller scale version would have been much more effective, cost and efficiency wise, it was likely one of the best available tools at the moment as most SCP's arent so eager to help, and those who are tend to either refuse to fight such as Major Alexis and Cain. But others like Able are too eager to fight and thus can be liabilities in situations like this where theres not a guarantee that if Homelander is defeated by said SCP they wouldnt start an XK event or a Broken Vail event. A giant mech going through the city would be hard to cover up, but would be possible given the world the boys is in. However a biblical figure going on a mass killing spree which would likely be more brutal than homelanders is a bit harder to cover

The Foundation had so many ways of defeating Homelander, so I feel like this is the way they would "lose." I mean, THE SPECTER isn't actually them, just the embodiment of crime fighting, so The Foundation technically didn't defeat them, but it's universe instead.

Homelander gets contained with relatively ease. Just with certain SCPs on deck he would get smoked. Abel by himself could smoke Homelander, and 999 seems to no diff anyone lol. But even without utilizing sentient SCPs, he’s gonna get contained easy
I was expecting the foundation to expose Homelander to a memetic kill agent, or show him a photograph of Shy Guy, or maybe give him an amnestic to make him forget what he was doing. This was more fun, though.
They destroyed multiple buildings, sent a giant robot into multiple pocket dimensions simultaneously, and gave their operatives superpowers, and all that failed. Then *The Spectre* had a chat with homelander and he gave up. Seems like a lot of bloodshed could've been avoided.
The thing is, it was their goal to summon the Specter the entire time. There are many plans and ways to get rid of Homelander, he’s entirely fucked. Though this way shines light on a lesser known SCP. SCP-4494, the Specter, only shows up when a ‘crime’ out of the league of present law enforcement occurs, which it identifies the SCP Foundation as such. In this case, Homelander, having beat the Dragonslayer, was the catalyst in summoning this crime fighting badass. It was seemingly the plan all along, among many other possible plans that could work.

Seems pretty easy, the foundation can contain 682, which can adapt to literally anything. It can survive the heat death of the universe.
That's not the same as fighting a being with Superman strength and speed and powers. SCP-682 can still be contained. It's not strong enough to break out by itself unless it is being used as an experiment. Homelander on the other hand, can break out of anything.

there's so many anomalies that bypass the traditional idea of being strong that they wouldn't need to sacrifice people, robots, recourses to take him down. Laser vision is actually hilariously easy to defeat. You need three mirrors, arranged in a corner cube reflector. This will result in the lasers being sent right back to where they came from.

Considering that Even Black Noir didn’t know about Compound V until the leaks, it’s safe to say Vaught kept the secret of exactly how they created Supes a very tightly guarded secret that only a select few at the very top of the company were privy to. By the time a foundation plant worked their way high enough to find out about it, it’d probably already be too late to stop it, Soldier Boy no longer a unique anomaly, but simply the first of countless that were being churned out and paraded around for public consumption, at that point, what can the foundation do? They can’t expose compound V to the world, that would mean further exposing the anomalous world to the public. They can’t contain every Supe, that would be far too conspicuous. Even if they confiscated or destroyed all existing samples of Compound V, Vaught can just make more.

I can't believe that people are actually carrying on the old legacy and rivalry of Amazon and the foundation... I remember getting to know about that the first time by you only, in that old video... The one where Dr. Bright explains to a newbie how they ordered too much stuff for the SCPs and even the worst SCPs became peaceful ones, but then Amazon got to know about the location of SCP sights, so they raided them... Still remember quite a lot of it, particularly considering I watched it less than a week after it was published LOL

After all they are both in fiction and out of fiction, though it could be a curbstomp considering the camera man literally trancend realities and can hop from fiction verse to fiction verse whereas stuff like 3812 can only go up (one direction), camera man can literally go any direction he wants at whatever rate he wants to.

Honestly only reality warper tier characters have any shot, but even the SCP universe has reality warpers so it’d be a very uphill battle. Pure power wouldn’t be enough, it’d have to be someone with hax abilities of their own or ways to counter a variety of hax abilities. The SCP Foundation itself is one thing but going up against the entire SCP universe would be brutal.

There's so many ways that Homelander would lose to the SCP foundation, but I really like the idea of using *THE SPECTER* against him. It feels incredibly thematic to have him lose to the ultimate superhero, rather than an anomalous weapon or random entity of mass power. Personally, I think the Dragonslayer was a bit of a bad choice, compared to all the other weapons they could have used. Perhaps it was needed to cause enough of a spectacle that it would call in *THE SPECTER,* but I still feel like using a weapon made for a giant in order to fight something that was strong enough to break through and small enough to avoid all sources of damage was an _incredibly_ poor call.
The dragonslayer's railguns move several times the speed of homelander. He wouldn't even be able to dodge. For instance, we see homelander moving at like supersonic speeds, so, we could assume mach 2 which would be 2,250.08 feet per second where as a railgun (not anomalous) can shoot projectiles at 52,493 feet per second. Literally homelander would vaporize on impact.
I think the main reason would be the cold iron sword. Homelander has an insane defense and increased healing. I dont think they really intended it to win but to severely weaken homelander. The cuts on his hands and chest would never heal no matter how much medicine or healing factor you have which ultimately would weaken any strikes he has with his hand and would slow his movements quite a bit, of course, it didnt slow him enough but it certainly helped and was a good attempt. Of course i do agree that a smaller scale version would have been much more effective, cost and efficiency wise, it was likely one of the best available tools at the moment as most SCP's arent so eager to help, and those who are tend to either refuse to fight such as Major Alexis and Cain. But others like Able are too eager to fight and thus can be liabilities in situations like this where theres not a guarantee that if Homelander is defeated by said SCP they wouldnt start an XK event or a Broken Vail event. A giant mech going through the city would be hard to cover up, but would be possible given the world the boys is in. However a biblical figure going on a mass killing spree which would likely be more brutal than homelanders is a bit harder to cover

The Foundation had so many ways of defeating Homelander, so I feel like this is the way they would "lose." I mean, THE SPECTER isn't actually them, just the embodiment of crime fighting, so The Foundation technically didn't defeat them, but it's universe instead.
The foundation used themselves as bait to summon him. Homelander caused so much destruction that the specter appeared. So it was all according to the foundation's keiaku.

Homelander gets contained with relatively ease. Just with certain SCPs on deck he would get smoked. Abel by himself could smoke Homelander, and 999 seems to no diff anyone lol. But even without utilizing sentient SCPs, he’s gonna get contained easy

I was expecting the foundation to expose Homelander to a memetic kill agent, or show him a photograph of Shy Guy, or maybe give him an amnestic to make him forget what he was doing. This was more fun, though.
They destroyed multiple buildings, sent a giant robot into multiple pocket dimensions simultaneously, and gave their operatives superpowers, and all that failed. Then *The Spectre* had a chat with homelander and he gave up. Seems like a lot of bloodshed could've been avoided.

There are many plans and ways to get rid of Homelander, he’s entirely fucked. Though this way shines light on a lesser known SCP.
SCP-4494, the Specter, only shows up when a ‘crime’ out of the league of present law enforcement occurs, which it identifies the SCP Foundation as such. In this case, Homelander, having beat the Dragonslayer, was the catalyst in summoning this crime fighting badass. It was seemingly the plan all along, among many other possible plans that could work.
