    wow thank you for sharing the winter scene of Lapland😊 I have been to Lapland in summer but i noticed that there are too much crazy mosquitos(os: i will not be back in summer!)😆😂

      They last for long minutes, appearing in one place in the sky, slowly fading, then appearing again in another place in the sky. In fact, the most annoying thing to observe them are of course the clouds : we had an evening where they were very important but we could only see small parts of them between the clouds… In Svalbard, they were huge but the blizzard was unbearable, causing the tripods of the cameras to fall… In short, the phenomenon is not at all exceptional, one might even say banal, but on the other hand you need a little luck to observe it properly ! Note that solar activity was at the lowest of its 11-years cycle in 2020 and that in 2022 we have already been able to observe a clear increase (increasing phase of the cycle).
