@@zackakai5173 I have always attributed that to replay bug - maybe it shows the current speed and the corresponding value of 3/4th, so he was accelerating at that time and the counter went to Full when he reached close to max speed.
Happens to me several times, especially when I vary my speed a lot trying to avoid torpedoes. Do that a few minutes, and I tend to be at 3/4 speed while I'm sure I'm at full speed.

Hilarious as that was, in all fairness, Italian AP is really bad against cruisers, especially ones with light armor. It's so fast and has such a long arming time that it's basically guaranteed over pens on broadside cruisers and guaranteed bounces on angled heavy cruisers because it's caliber is pretty low.

Against cruisers, they either need to have a really thick armor spot for you to hit, or they have to be really far away so you can plunge it through their deck first. The key is it needs time to arm and most cruisers don't have enough armor to slow the shells enough for them to arm at close range. So, you're usually better firing SAP in those cases

It never ceases to amaze me how many players don't understand that you can win on points. So many think that you have to sink every enemy ship to win. Same concept with capping- so many players just don't think it's important- it's all about the kills

Recently I did the defense of naval station newport after some time without playing it, the usual idiots going out like it's a coop and hunt the incoming attack as if it's not headed to us already, getting instantly focused and sank by bots and triggering early waves. I had to stand alone in my Fuso against the final 2 waves and solo the Koenig, Bayern and Izumo all at once, every one else was dead and I manages to squeeze out a 3 star win. That wasn't even the worst one that week.
The Yudachi player I know him well! He spawns with me quite often, I think it’s him and a player running a battleship with no forward gears play on a team…. Next level players though, cause their always the last two to standing at the end of our loss. 🤔
I dont understand how perfectly normal people suddenly turn dumb, those enemy DDs handed the game back, after nearly winning it in the first place.....

Because you mentioned it Jingles, the Allies instituted programs to drastically change the cultures of previously fascist nations that were targeted specifically to incorporate older elements of a region's culture while pushing them away from nationalism. It's probably most evident in Japan where there is a fairly sharp 'break' in culture post war, but it happened to just about all the Axis (or prior Axis) powers.
You're missing the alternative expanation Jingles: they thought "Fascism" was a governmental system where power is assigned to the snappiest dressers; ie "Fashism"

The italian AP is in fact very good - too good for casual targets. You need to hit the hardest armor available, just to get no overpens. I like my Roma better in tier 10 than in tier 8 battles.
That was SAP shells he fired into the Roon Jingles. Ill give you the short version: In WoWS, you can tell what the shell is purely by the color of the tracer. AP SHELLS ARE WHITE, HE IS YELLOW, SAP IS RED. Any Questions?
I don't mind no longer having to worry about teamkilling trolls, but smoke firing penalty (aka visual cover being negated/reduced by noise) makes as much sense as radar/hydro that can see through islands.
Actually quite liked the days of lack of smoke firing penalty, it meant dds and bbs could work together - probably bad in competitive but in randoms it was just a nice thing to do every now and again. I know what you mean but to be honest the Italians didn't really manage to pull off Facism very well perhaps their hearts weren't in it:-). I think the Buffalo was complaining that he radard the dds and nobody shot at the dd he was radaring, which is pretty common - actually the team were busy shooting another dd which I don't think he realised but can understand the frustration. Lucky he didn't get a fire at the end on that low health!
It might have been ridiculous for a BB to be undetected by anyone because they were in a smoke screen, but it was a great example of teamwork, pushing a cap in a BB then a DD smokes you up and you murder anyone who tries to pry you out.

@@hubristicmystic soviet cruisers are great, Italian cruisers are good, American cruisers are still decent,french cruisers, Britbong cruisers are a bit of a challenge and pan asian ones suck,for BBs try british BBs or Soviet ones. For DDs its France,Scandi or Britain

I can understand that Buffalo, in way too many matches I'll have a DD spotted for either by view from a DD or I radar them in front of 3 or so allies and no one will shoot at the DD. On the flip side I've noticed that when i get spotted as a DD everyone who can get an angle shoots and half my hp vanishes within ten seconds.

Seems like with ships like the Lepanto you could really use Adrenaline Rush and that perk that trades turret rotation speed for reload time.

Jingles - when you went to Sardenia, did you go to La Maddelena (a small island off the northeastern coast of Sardenia)? I was stationed there on the USS Simon Lake from '94 to '97.
