Good morning to you my dear friend. Another outstanding page you will be doing and I watching....HA! Love those colors! I love the way you talk yourself through...I started doing it too and my hubby asked me if I talked to myself like that all through my coloring.....I believe he thinks I may be getting senile, ha! He simply does not understand our artistic process.....

I think this book is going to beautiful when finished by colorists that know what they are doing, like you, Karen! For myself, I can’t imagine doing it though...Since I can’t do all the tiny details that Johanna Basford does in her books, there is no way that I would be able to do it in this book! Kudos to those of you who can!!! Thank you for showing how to use POSCA for getting rid of things you don’t want in the image.... I got the three main sizes of those at the same time I got the eraser...and so am not 100% comfortable with them yet, so seeing how you got rid lines and went over it with the pencil was very helpful to me! Question: is it easier to go over the POSCA with the oil pencils verses our Prismas or is it just a matter of needing practice?
Thank you 🤗 It is a bit easier to use the oil based pencils over posca, but if you let it dry completely you can use prismas, just very lightly and build up the color

Hi Karen! I’m working on that exact page as well! I tried to mimic the page best as I can but some stuff you just can’t achieve with pencil since it’s a oil painting.. so I kind of just do my own flow.. I figure painting and pencil! I love your videos and pencil techniques and I learned from you! Thank you and keep on coloring and the great work! ❤️❤️🥰
