- A new RCMP-trained contingent of Canadian police offers is deployed on a peace mission to the dangerous streets of Haiti.
In the 21st century, crime no longer respects borders. Under the RCMP’s International Peace Operations Branch, Canadian Police Officers are serving on peace missions in a dozen countries around the world. They train and support local police forces, trying to provide safety and stability to a country in chaos. A new contingent of Canadian officers has just landed in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. There they will be faced with extreme poverty, extreme heat and extreme civil unrest.

I think you need like 3 years as a Constable.

They addressed that right at the beginning of the video. Crime spawns outside Canada and reducing it elsewhere trickles down to reducing crime here.
Probably isn't a perfect theory but they did seem to put some thought into it.

Wow did not know these are volunteer missions..
They probably mean voluntary opt in for the assignment but they are still paid. In fact they may not even pay taxes as they are deployed outside Canada.

Pity they can’t behave that way here at home. Due to the actions of some RCMP, I now hate cops. To the point if you fell down in front of me with a heart attack, I could probably save your life, but I wouldn’t. That is what you did to me and I still deal with the trauma. I will never forget, I will never forgive.

Field Marshal Aiden bud it’s ok your obviously not a cop and people are allowed different opinions. Not saying I agree with it but everyone is entitled to one.
