- Hello IT Pros, this is Alvendril! In this Video, "How to Print from a Chromebook", I show you how to Connect, Configure and finally Print from a Chromebook. For this end I used a HP Chromebook x360 14c, but the process is similar for any Manufacturer. Besides, I also used a HP LaserJet Pro M102w Printer. I made a mistake buying a chromebook. I can't print anything with this thing. I've tried many printers, followed all directions, spent many hours dealing with this stupid chromebook. I'll never buy another chromebook again.

Hello one question the "see more" option does not appear to my menu. What can I do? I have an asus flip c214 Chromebook and my printer is hp 2630.

This video is great, thankyou for helping so many people out! However I am still having an issue. I am trying to connect my old Canon printer (Canon MP280) to my Chromebook via a usb cable and yes it does connect however it doesn't allow me to set it up in the printer settings so it doesnt print. The model I own doesn't come up when it asks me to configure the printer and I'm not sure if that's because it is an old printer and Chromebooks don't support it, or if I am doing something wrong. The printer worked completely fine with my previous Windows running laptop, so I am completely lost.

Hello. Wanted to ask if G2070 same as GM2070? I have a GM2070 canon printer.
Just tried and failed to open an .ods file saved on a usb memory stick - apparently open source file type is not compatible with chromebook unless payment is made for microsoft 365, that really negates some of the reasoning behind buying my chromebook.
What cable do you need?

It depends what port your CB has, in the video, mine has a USB C, then i needed an adapter => regular USB A to USB C.
Printers normally use USB B. So the connection would be:
printer = USB B ---------------USB A --------adapter -------- USB C = Chromebook

The chromebook detect the Printer correctly but on the notoficatio box appears massage *USB printer connected but need configuration* . I clik it & setup but cant find Model/type that Canon LBP6030 Printer. Please help abaot that problem. Thanks
