I'm lost. You showed the Canon app from your phone. Now you jump to showing the Canon on Chromebook. There is no information on the Chromebook related to Canon PIXMA printer
Am I needing a iphone to set this up? It tells me this printer cannot connect to the is running on your device and I've used my android and Chromebook.

Yes the way its asking will not be able to set easily. I do wifi setup first using a phone and then it should show up in the chromebook as add printer not setup. If it shows setup then it may not add.
Very useful video. Thanks. However, for those people who is having difficulties, base Windows 11 laptops are crazy cheap now. They are even sometimes cheaper than Chromebook on sale. The amount of time configuring and trying to make Chromebook act as a normal laptop is, for me, not worth it.
I have a question. I set up Chromebook to the copier. I hate the ink installation because if it's set incorrectly the ink cartridges are worthless and it won't register. Just a continuous E04 code. I disconnected it and placed it in the closet. I've pretty much given up trying to get this thing working so I just write everything down and make some copies somewhere else. A waste of $40, expectations and the relief from writing everything down. My question. How to clear the code?

I got my Canon printer set up I want through all the setup procedures at the directions said and I was trying to connect wireless it didn't seem to notice it setting up through the router but the minute I got the ussb cord and plugged it in it immediately recognized my printer and other than setting it up it worked perfectly no hesitation and mine's a can and all in one printer fax scanner so I'm happy I don't miss windows thank you Chromebook had Windows 11 on old laptop less than year old and took 20 minutes every day just to get it to load up this is so much better

@@aribrachelle504 hp deskjet 2752e it should be like 69.99 on Walmart app they have similar ones that are 100+ but this gets the job done and it’s wireless.

It’s wired there is no Wi-Fi I have the same printer just bought, my problem is when I go to settings and go to advanced,then go to printers and select printer. It’s not showing the model of the canon printer when I’m setting it up. Like when he went to set up it automatically added the printer

Hi you have do wifi setup of printer with a mobile or laptop and then it will appear in chromebook and it will add without any issue.
