Wow, that's a lot of pages, I've never tried something like that before, but as long as you have a Chromebook with enough RAM and CPU power to handle all of that, I imagine it would work just fine. As for RAM upgrades, while there is nothing in the Chrome OS operating system to prevent you from upgrading the RAM, the RAM in most Chromebooks is soldered in and there are no empty RAM slots, so it's usually not physically possible to upgrade the RAM.

Apart from the standard thing of unplugging everything and plugging it back in again, turning everything off and on again (including your wifi router if printing wirelessly), and potentially removing the printer from your Chromebook and re-adding it.
I have found that my Chromebook can not find the printer if I have not used it for a while. Then it comes back after trying to print any web page or document. This happens over and over. There is no need to keep connecting to the printer.
I'm guessing you have the destination set to "Save as PDF". You'll need to click on the drop down menu and select your printer as shown at 10:34 in this video.

You could try some basic things like removing it and adding it again, unplugging it and plugging it back in again, and turning both the printer and the Chromebook off and on again. But if none of that helps, my guess would be the printer is not quite compatible with Chrome OS.

I also noticed on the HP site that there is no support for my model printer. So my question to you is if I buy a economical Windows computer will I have any problems using my existing printer
That should work fine. I actually have that printer as well and I can't get it to work with my Chromebook, but it does work perfectly with my Windows computers. However, it would probably be cheaper and easier to buy a cheap, modern printer that does work with Chrome OS and use it with your Chromebook, than to buy a cheap Windows computer to use with your old printer. Either way should be fine, but that's just my recommendation.
Hello, I would like to share with everyone a method thanks to which we can print both documents and pdfs without any problems on chromebooks. Yesterday I bought a chromebook and started looking for a way to make it as useful as possible... So, by trial and error, I found the NokoPrint application in the play store, which is able to use the printers that we added to chrome os to print documents. Just install it, choose the document you want to print, the printer and the format in which it is to be printed, and voila. My chromebook is HP Chrome 11 G6 EE and printer is Canon MX925.
If you open the Settings app, search for "spell check" and click on "Spell check", you should see all the spell check settings. Then, at the bottom of that screen, there should be a switch that says "Spelling and grammar check". If you click on that switch to turn it on, spell check should turn back on. If the switch is already on, you might just need to turn it off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on again. Or if that doesn't help, possibly try restarting your Chromebook. Hopefully one of these things will work to get it back on.
