Gerry and Justin throw down their allegiances to each side of the Force for a game of Star Wars: Legion.
This isn't a regular wargame though as they've decided to use the new skirmish rules to see how that works out on the tabletop. With Justin as the Empire and Gerry as the Rebels we soon find out who is strong with the Force this day.

Fellas, cover cancels hit results. Light cover 1 hit, heavy cover, 2 hits. So if you are in light cover with 4 hits it becomes 3 hits. So u only need to roll 3 defence dice. Enjoy your legion lets plays still :)

The skirmish rules will be handy for folk who want to play but don't have their full army fleshed out yet.
On the first turn, first move, you missed using a free ranged attack with the Snowtroopers. Since they have the "Steady" keyword, they get a free ranged attack after issuing a move order.
Great video guys, I am interested into getting into starwars legion and this video was a perfect intro, love the snowy terrain board as well!!! Fun game guys as always a brilliant informative video guys love the content.

To role 4 blanks on the red defense dice stunned Justin to the point he thought he'd role white defense instead!

Check the updated points values. Tabletop Admiral has them recorded and you can toggle between printed and updated. Lots of stuff went down; notably Vader, force powers, AT-RT hardpoints, the snowspeeder, speeder bikes, and more. Sniper teams went up.
IF YOU LOCKED COMBAT CAN YOU SHOOT I.E. VADER ? LUKE WAS IN HAND TOHAND WITH VADER.

Funny the biggest mistake no one mentioned was the shooting into combat and that is what killed Vader. But yeah the saves are what was done the most wrong consistantly
Imperial are red dice for defence on storm, shore and snow troopers, scout troopers and speeder are white defence
Yeah, Justin just doesn't pay attention to things. This has been for years. And it's really too bad because it took away from a good game. Nice terrain and such.
All I had to do was take a look at all the cards on display and conclude "This is definitely the kind of game you forget more than one element about while playing".

I'm starting to put together Legion terrain. Where did they get the buildings, specifically the one they rolled dice on. Thanks for any help.
The Company is called Battlekiwi. It's the Bunker from their Star Battle Sanctuary range

I might have missed it mentioned in the video but who makes that game mat? I don't recall seeing that on either DeepCutStudio's or GameMat.eu's sites. It's a nice looking mat...and great battle report as usual, even if half the game was obscured. :)
With all the mistakes Justin was disadvantaged, this lets play need to be a rematch after you have read the rules reference. Rematch rematch rematch :)

This really doesn't feel like a Skirmish, it feels like a full game on a small table. To me a skirmish game would be half the points you guys used.
huh? the official skirmish rules for Legion is a 3x3 board with 500 pts. Exactly what was shown here.
@@alcovitch That may be the rules to but to me that doesn't feel like a skirmish game. It feels like a full game on a small table. You still have enough points to field multiple squads and a vehicle.
it takes exceptionally poor reading comprehension to make that many rules errors. Also, these guys must not have ever watched a single other Let's Play of this game.
