Wow! I was getting so frustrated trying to read the rules, so I started watching videos on TH-cam. Those videos didn't help and left me more confused than when I started. Then I found this video and now I understand the game. You Fully explained rules better than anyone else. Thank you
I just started getting Legion stuff with no intent on playing the game, I just like to build and paint models. But after many videos of how to play this game game, I want to play it now. Out of all the videos that I've watched, yours by far is the best video I have seen. You explained the game very well and it was easy to understand.
Imagine a game of Rebellion where each battle is played useing Armada and Legion 😀!!! I can think of worse ways to spend a few weeks. (Btw Great channel. I am new to Armada and thinking about Legion. I used to play 40k and I'm not sure if I'm ready to dive back into a table top infantry game. But the more I watch your videos, the more tempted I am to try.
@@tookiem7618 The channel "Inside the Box" did a skit where they were going to play something like that. The only problem was the game would last longer than the Universe would.
I set up a few friends to do a dnd style rpg with both xwing and legion, Basicly in space combat we play Xwing but on the ground we have two phases: 1. Exploration; you can find crates, shop keepers, and quest items to buy upgrade cards. And 2. Firefight: it is litterally just legion but you use the cards and units you bought\ found against the empire or.rebellion you also roll a 6 die to see how many rounds you have to fight and survive. Currently i have a freind of mine playing as another gamemaster who is leading the imperial airassult in space above scarif while the transport that did make it down with the other players is being attacked by my imperial garrison

Agreed , the rules may be the worst written I have ever tried to read. The only other rules that were this hard to understand was a game by Avalon hill called "Republic of Rome"
Could you possibly make a longer video explaining Keywords and putting time stamps for each keyword? That would be a video I would save to a library to have on hand while playing so it takes less time to search for it in the book.

Hi, what is the most commanders in operative star characters can you have an army at one time?like can I have a Han Solo and a Leah commander and then a Luke operative somewheres in the army?
So I have a question about attacking. From what I got from the attacking part is that you combine your upgrade dice with your regular weapon. So an example would be like if my rebel troopers have an upgrade for a grenade that has 1 black dice and upgrade for a machine gun that rolls 6 white dice. Would you combine the 6 white dice and the regular weapon dice. ?

can you choose any force powers or you always have to take the force powers with the faces of the character on them. Like could I give luke Force Push or something from the Card Add On Pack?

That's pretty much the norm for teaching modern games. Give a summary or brief overview, because covering all of the rules would make this video probably about 20 hours long.
What "nice miniature" Star Wars game are you referring to? Imperial Assault is a BOARD game not a minis wargame, and WOTC's collectible minis game has been defunct for years.

Which unit types can claim an objective? Core, commander, special forces...?
Objectives will say which type. It's usually troopers, or "Any unit leader".

Yeah for the most part. There are always new FAQ documents and some minor rules adjustments every few months but nothing gamebreaking
