    I'm pleasantly surprised by how well the Blackmagic did. I'm hoping to see some more permanent third party solutions to rod mount xlr ports so that the mini xlr ports are free of any stress. That should mostly take care of this issue.

    I was really surprised when comparing the sound from the saramonic lav vs the Sennheiser shotgun! I had some saramonic systems in the past and they were noisy as hell, but then that seemed it was my old GH4's fault, as now with the BMPCC6KPro even a wired generic lav sounds great. Maybe i will give saramonic another try! Thanks for sharing and Im gonna look for your movie right now! Would you allow it to be shown on a private cineclub?

    Another, cool and fun video. My mini XLR input are working OK, so far on my 6k pro. They are a little stiff, actually. That may depend on the brand of adapts, too. I have a Mixpre 6 version 2 and use tentacle syn e, with a Schoeps CMC641 mic. Sound on the 6k pro is usually just backup. Nice hat, by the way. You may have to buy your girl a new one if you keep using it. take care, be safe. from NYC, USA

    New to cinematography and was scrolling through the menu system for audio settings. Yeah it’s pretty weird, my shotgun wasn’t registering but noticed I had the menu on the wrong setting.
    It’ll be nice if there was a connecting relay that opened up the menu once plugged in. Makes no sense to scroll through a bunch of audio menus that you won’t be using anyway.

    great video xDDD
    But I have still some questions as it's pretty hard to choose between the 6k and 6k pro haha. I've never had a video camera, so I'm somehow afraid that it will be too heavy with the Pocket 6k Pro (1.2 kg DJI Rs 2 stabilizer, 800g Sigma 18-35 mm, 1.2 kg Pocket 6k Pro, and another battery or SSD.) Do you think that could be the case? Especially when you e.g. film the whole day or when you travel and still have a drone. I also wonder if the 6k Pro's "tilting screen" is really necessary? (I filmed with the Gopro and the cell phone on a stabilizer and never really had any problems, even when I walked very close to the floor. Maybe it's different with the camera, as many 6k users said it is necessary). Buying one later would make less sense, as it costs more and is perhaps even more uncomfortable if you use the stabilizer and fix a "DJI 3D focus system" / microphone on the "head" of the camera. I've already looked a bit on the internet and apparently the 6k Pro fits on the RS 2, but it's not yet entirely clear to me whether that's really true. I have one last question then I say more than thank you; Do you actually need nd filters a lot in filmmaking?
    thxx

    • @thesavagefilmmaker
      @thesavagefilmmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great questions. So I'm not sure if the payload of the 6K Pro is too much for the RS 2, but I imagine you will be fine, it looks like it can easily handle the weight, although it may take some time to correctly balance(or you may need a counterweight). Yes the 6K Pro is heavier, but I don't think it's that much heavier that you will notice it on the Gimbal. Yes ND filters come in handy for filming all the time. Especially if you film anything during the day outside. I would say that internal ND filters are actually one of the best features of the 6K pro and one of the most handy features any camera can have. It gives you more flexibility and speed when setting up a shot and more options of choosing your depth of field rather than being limited by the light in your filming environment. I would also say the Tilt screen is also really really helpful, it means you don't need an extra monitor and you can film low or high conveniently and quickly. So absolutely I'd say those two features alone make the 6K Pro worth the extra investment. So I think you're spending money now to save a lot of time and hassle later. Well worth it!

    Thanks for the comparisons. The 6Kpro’s preamps sounds cleaner (noise floor) to my ear/headphones than the c200’s.
    Unfortunately all I can clearly hear while using the shotgun on the 6Kpro, is its fan noise/rattle. I have the unit, and am hearing the same thing. It may be going back shortly.
