Currently using DIY Detail products (Ethos for the wheels) and looking forward to your other hybrid videos! Thanks for the bringing light to #shinemate
#shinemate definitely appears to not be your typical "chinese" polisher, I appreciate that they are doing their own thing and not just pumping out crappy copies of someone else's design. You know I'm a sucker for RUPES, but I'm glad there are some good budget-friendly options out there (Shinemate, DIY, Liquid Elements) so that people don't have to settle for crap like Maxshine or Torq.
@ec details, Please do a one off video on the EB210 and talk about the attachment system. I have the nano and its under powered, im considering checking the shinemate out.
Great video and very true about listening to influencers. I was going to get a Rupes Duetto as my first polisher (do not like the price) and may very well look at the ShineMate now since it is far more affordable.
They are! Shinemate and Rupes are my favourite brands for polishing machines. Currently i have ex620/21 and eb210. I used to have eb351/, whish i sold and got milwaukee 15 and 21 and now i have hlr15 and 21. HLR15 is great but so is EB351/15. Milwaukee is the most powerfull 15 battery machine, but hlr21 is atleast as powerfull as 21 milwaukee. I havent tested eb351/21 but according to carcraft detailing, it is a beast too.
@@Ecdetails I had EB351 last summer, so its been while. I compared it to Milwaukee. Milwaukee was bit more powerfull, but Shinemate was smoother and lighter. I sold shinemate mainly because i wanted also 21 battery machine and there are no EB351/21 here in Finland, so i bought Milwaukees. But Milwaukees are too heavy and the 15 vibrates too much, the 21 Milwaukee is ok. Now i have Rupeses, but i kinda think Shinemate would be atleast as good option and they have so many more cordless machines, like 12mm 5" machine and a rotary.
I have a kind of mixed feelings from HLR15 and 21. They are super light, and smooth. 21 is a beast, 15 is quite strong, but just a lot weaker than 21. The things i dont like with HLR's are these: 15 could be more powerfull. Battery placement is not as good as Milwaukee, Shinemate etc. but you get used to it. I love HLR21 but there is too much computer monitoring, adjusting and make decisions for you. For example with the shinemate, well atleast ex620, if you putt more pressure it kicks in with more power and Rupes blings lights to say you are adding too much pressure. Thats stupid. Other thing i noticed that if i use HLR21 with 5" bp and speed six, it sometimes cuts power off. My guess is that the machine things that there is too much vibration and it is a warning signal. It doesnt vibrate that much really, but its not as smooth as ex620/21 with the 5" bp. The big issue with Rupes is that they say you dont need more power, you dont need 5" bp for 21. They dont listen to their customers. I mean with Milwaukee and Shinemate you can officially use 5" bp with 21 machine. I wish that i could test EB351/21. If its anywhere nearly as impressive as EX620/21, then i just might sell my Rupes HLR's and get EB351 12mm, 15mm, 21mm and a rotary.
First heard about shinemate on Brian’s channel (Apex Auto Detail). As I’ve been watching his channel, I’ve seen him reach for his shinemate numerous times. If I had to polish for a living, I’d probably look into them(especially after hearing your support story), but since it’s just me and my ride, the palm sander did the job for me(thanks Yvan).
Thanks for the informative video Eddie. Great to hear the backstory about the and the benefits of ShineMate polishers from a number of different people that have extensive experience with them. The EB210 is definitely intriguing. #ShineMate

The eb210 is a little power house ... I have two trucks in the shop this week . May put together a video review and post

Hi Eddie another great video. A quick question does the EX 620 have a lot more power than the cordless version as I've got the cordless version and I find it does bog down over curves?
Do you have 15 or 21? 15 cordless is very strong at speed 6, at least on bar with the Milwaukee, but speeds 1-4 its weaker. Shinemate cordless 21 should be a beast. I do have ex620/21 and it is the strongest polisher on the market.
@@clints8888 21 is supposed to be a lot more stronger. Same thing is with rupes hlr 21 vs hlr15, the 21 is so much more stronger. Milwaukee 15 and 21 is not that big difference.
A great review bro! I was wandering how these cordless machines perform, but im thinking i'm still gonna go with the corded Rupes MKIII, my first serious buy, never had a Rupes machine before, just wandering if i want a 21mm or a 15mm, i like to work on 21mm, but want it to be smooth and light thats the main thing, i hate heavy machines (i srsly do :) ) just wondering if i can swap the 6" on 21 Rups to a 5' and still have a smooth and good experience with it, and also do i need to buy a specified 5' Rupes backing plate or any one will do, as i said i never had any experience with them :) They are super expensive here in the EU (in my country it s like 550$ for a mark III corded 😳) so it NEEDS to be a REALLY good buy and experience or i will bust my head
Been eyeing these for a while for my first polisher, it will primarily be used on my personal vehicle a 21’ RAM Limited with Crystal Granite Metallic. Paint pops so nice when its shining and corrected. Which one of these would you reccomend for entry level detailer/weekend warrior…i was thinking 21mm throw but not sure difference on the benefits of a 15mm throw. Ill have to experiment with pads and all that. These have the edge guard backing plate now too as well correct?
@@Ecdetails thanks man! For my first decent polisher would you go with 15mm or 21mm to have a good all around polisher? Im thinking 21mm i can go less aggressive and get done what i want with pad selection. But not sure if theres a reason i should go 15mm instead on such a big truck?
I’m still learning paint correction, I was using a Milwaukee 15mm and went and bought a shinemate 15m corded and it’s just insane the power and no stalling is unbelievable. It’s like nothing I’ve used. I can compound on speed 2 wool pad and remove heavy defects like no other. It’s made me better and faster. No joke try one.
@ what happened to parks car care? No reply to emails or phone. I ordered a shinemate cordless kit and it didn’t come with a charging station. Contacted them no reply’s and other detailers having issues.
@Ecdetails my ex was good on those curves too hahahaha! No but the feynmach does struggle a little on the curves that's my only complaint with it. Other than that it's gold
I have ex620 21 and 15mm, monsters. what is the performance of the cordless rotary polisher? 1500rpm seems enough for me I don't put a lot of pressure on the machine, but I'm interested in the optimal pressure, how does it work then, does it slow down or maintain speed? i'm tired of cables. They are available now and here, greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina, thank you very much.
Awesome Eddie!! Thank you for this. I’ve been wanting to get a Shinemate for a long time now and going for get one off Carzilla unless the new place ships to Canada. Thanks again for the video!! #shinemate
Eddie bringing out the red carpet for Shinemate. You did them proud, and you polish more in a week then I do in my whole life 😂. #Shinemate #ForTheCulture #FakeDetailer #SaveTheDolphins
Have you tried the HLR yet Eddie? I have a SPTA 15mm its not bad. Smooth. Matt moreman is apparently very excited about liquid elements yet to be released 15mm cordless.
@@Ecdetails but how close is eb351/21 to ex620/21 in terms of torque smoothness? I do have ex620/21 and yes it is a beast! 21 Mk3 and HLR21 are great machines too with lots of torque, but Shinemate is the strongest and it works flawlessly with a 5" bp and it doesnt add any vibration unlike Rupes.
I'm a beginner. Looking to buy a polisher. Was thinking Griot garage or Maxshine. But now, I consider shinemate, especially if I can get it shipped to Hawaii. What do you think is the best coating? Affordable, durability, etc.
Nice video! I was currently in the market for a cordless DA polisher and it came down to Shinemate and Dewalt. I ended up choosing Dewalt as I already have a few Dewalt tools with the same interchangeable batteries. It's nice and I do like it, but I might just have to pick up a Shinemate for backup tho... 🤔 😁 #shinemate
Great video as always! Thanks for everything you do for us your subscribers I can't BEGIN to say how amazing my 21mm Shinemate felt in my hands annnnnd they have a nice long cord for the corded ones 👍🏼😁 #shinemate
I reach for my corded Ex 620 over my battery operated, cordless, spta. Its that much of a difference in smoothness, and with the 6inch you can almost edge like a rotary. I now see why Papa Yvan prefers a 6 inch pad and cut with a DA. #shinemate
Idk if parks car care had these for sale 3 years ago but I got mine from Carzilla but like others I absolutely love the 2 I have and want to get the cordless versions as well
On the d a which do you find more comfortable to work with the corded or cordless? Is one more balance than the other? I started off with a Milwaukee and it’s nice but it’s heavy with the battery and kinda loud. #shinemate #fakedetailer

15 smooth man less then my old cordless one
Thank you Eddie.
Excellent vid-appreciate all the perspectives from the community #shinemate
Thanks for watching
Hi Eddie another great video. A quick question does the EX 620 have a lot more power than the cordless version as I've got the cordless version and I find it does bog down over curves?
The cordless one is no slouch just the battery under load last 30 mins corded is constant power
Do you have 15 or 21? 15 cordless is very strong at speed 6, at least on bar with the Milwaukee, but speeds 1-4 its weaker. Shinemate cordless 21 should be a beast. I do have ex620/21 and it is the strongest polisher on the market.
I have a 15
But I'm fairly sure they are the same power the 15 and 21
@@clints8888 21 is supposed to be a lot more stronger. Same thing is with rupes hlr 21 vs hlr15, the 21 is so much more stronger. Milwaukee 15 and 21 is not that big difference.
They are the same as I was told today
@@victoryensured7137 rupes 15mm is smoother , changing the plate to a 5 inch on a 21’m is nothing I’ve done before but I would try it
@@Ecdetails Thanks man! You da boss!
Nice video Eddie 👍 #shinemate
How does this compare to the Maxshine 20mm da?
way better in terms of quality and performance
Been eyeing these for a while for my first polisher, it will primarily be used on my personal vehicle a 21’ RAM Limited with Crystal Granite Metallic. Paint pops so nice when its shining and corrected. Which one of these would you reccomend for entry level detailer/weekend warrior…i was thinking 21mm throw but not sure difference on the benefits of a 15mm throw. Ill have to experiment with pads and all that. These have the edge guard backing plate now too as well correct?
21mm has more bite and battery with load 30mins 15mm smooth criminal does well battery last 40idh min with load
@@Ecdetails thanks man! For my first decent polisher would you go with 15mm or 21mm to have a good all around polisher? Im thinking 21mm i can go less aggressive and get done what i want with pad selection. But not sure if theres a reason i should go 15mm instead on such a big truck?
Great informative video. Shoutout to all content creators in this collab. #culture #shinemate
Thanks bro and with out them this would of been a flop
I’m still learning paint correction, I was using a Milwaukee 15mm and went and bought a shinemate 15m corded and it’s just insane the power and no stalling is unbelievable. It’s like nothing I’ve used. I can compound on speed 2 wool pad and remove heavy defects like no other. It’s made me better and faster. No joke try one.
Thanks for sharing this man!
@ what happened to parks car care? No reply to emails or phone. I ordered a shinemate cordless kit and it didn’t come with a charging station. Contacted them no reply’s and other detailers having issues.
sounds like a baby kitten on speed 4 #shinemate Thanks EC and thank you community for being great 👍
For real!
Parks Car Care got me setup with the 5" DA. Loving it so far.
Dope!
I bought the feynmach instead of shinemate but now I feel like I should have got that instead! 😅
Nah your good its a good machine too I think ex 620 is better on curves
@Ecdetails my ex was good on those curves too hahahaha! No but the feynmach does struggle a little on the curves that's my only complaint with it. Other than that it's gold
I have ex620 21 and 15mm, monsters.
what is the performance of the cordless rotary polisher? 1500rpm seems enough for me
I don't put a lot of pressure on the machine, but I'm interested in the optimal pressure, how does it work then, does it slow down or maintain speed? i'm tired of cables. They are available now and here, greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina, thank you very much.
I can cut half a mini van with some pressure at 1300 and doesn’t drop - j like the cordlesss rotary better the the corded
@@Ecdetails thank you very much, I wish you all the best.
Awesome Eddie!! Thank you for this. I’ve been wanting to get a Shinemate for a long time now and going for get one off Carzilla unless the new place ships to Canada. Thanks again for the video!! #shinemate
Carzilla is dope man parks not sure they ship to Canada
Eddie bringing out the red carpet for Shinemate. You did them proud, and you polish more in a week then I do in my whole life 😂.

Thanks Sam
Thanks for the review brotha looks like well built machine! #shinemate
Thanks for watching
#shinemate would love to win one of these polishers.
:)
Have you tried the HLR yet Eddie? I have a SPTA 15mm its not bad. Smooth. Matt moreman is apparently very excited about liquid elements yet to be released 15mm cordless.
No I haven’t tried it I’ll
Need to check Matt’s stuff out
#shinemate have not used but definitely looking at the little beast!
Its good man
How strong is eb351/21 compared to EX620/21?
I can do a car no issue ex620 is a beast bro
@@Ecdetails but how close is eb351/21 to ex620/21 in terms of torque smoothness? I do have ex620/21 and yes it is a beast! 21 Mk3 and HLR21 are great machines too with lots of torque, but Shinemate is the strongest and it works flawlessly with a 5" bp and it doesnt add any vibration unlike Rupes.
#shinemate Great video Eddie!
Thank you !
I'm a beginner. Looking to buy a polisher. Was thinking Griot garage or Maxshine. But now, I consider shinemate, especially if I can get it shipped to Hawaii.
What do you think is the best coating? Affordable, durability, etc.
Tyler whats good man thanks for watching
Affordable? Ads quartz , Carpro 3.0uk, Diy 3 year. Im testing the new version of cerakote and its performing
#shinemate
Appreciate the love
Amazing deep dive into the world of Shinemate 🧼🔦🍩
Thanks for making the video I appreciate you
Great video and info, will definitely check them out. #shinemate
Thank you 🙏
I think I'm sold. Next purchase will be 21 mm DA and rotary cordless #shinemate
Same here. I wish they'd offer a package with those 2 polishers and one charger, 2 batteries
They just make good products man, like I use itall here and have compared them against the best
Great video as always! Thanks for everything you do for us your subscribers I can't BEGIN to say how amazing my 21mm Shinemate felt in my hands annnnnd they have a nice long cord for the corded ones 👍🏼😁 #shinemate
AND its balanced haha! Thanks for watching
@@Ecdetails Yes sir incredibly balanced! Doesn't vibrate me to death like my Torq haha. I'm always watching bro 🤝🏼
I reach for my corded Ex 620 over my battery operated, cordless, spta. Its that much of a difference in smoothness, and with the 6inch you can almost edge like a rotary. I now see why Papa Yvan prefers a 6 inch pad and cut with a DA. #shinemate
Thanks again for your video bro appreciate you
@Ecdetails No problem man. You do so much for all of us.
This looks like a great solution for those just starting out! Thanks Eddie!! #ShineMate
Yes 🙌🏾
Great video exactly what we need in the budget... #shinemate
Thank you
Idk if parks car care had these for sale 3 years ago but I got mine from Carzilla but like others I absolutely love the 2 I have and want to get the cordless versions as well
They just started a year ago I believe selling it. Carzilla’s had them for a while
Great video Eddie!!! #shinemate
Thank you!
Great informative video, Eddie! #road to 10k Subs!!
Thanks bro appreciate you
#shinemate brilliant polishers, their polishing pads are amazing as well. Thanks for the upload Eddie.
Thanks for your feedback I have enjoyed everything about them I terms of polisher , pads I haven’t used the compounding fluids.
On the d a which do you find more comfortable to work with the corded or cordless? Is one more balance than the other? I started off with a Milwaukee and it’s nice but it’s heavy with the battery and kinda loud. #shinemate #fakedetailer
I use both, I grab the wireless one , if I wan more torque I grab the ex 620 21/6
Been looking for a battery powered option. Thanks for the vid! #shinemate
Your welcome
Great video! Thanks for sharing ShineMate with us! I’ll have to check them out! #shinemate
