Love the look of the new design, look forward to hearing them at AXPONA ... hopefully you've got some better demo music that the crap that's playing on this video.
I was at the show and these just didn't do it for me. Sounded boomy, could have been the room and placement, but other rooms with a lot of bass were not boomy. Mids and highs sounded recessed. I think they might need to reevaluate the crossover on these or something
Damn…disappointing to hear. I’m in the market to upgrade my Ultra Bookshelves and am leaning toward B&W’s 704 S3 but waiting until these come out and get reviewed.
I am an SVS die hard fan but I would not buy these speakers, they are just too weird looking and I have had weird speakers but these just won’t blend well with my room. Maybe my opinion is ill change of if I see them in person, but these sound like an incredible sounding speaker! Time aligned and can probably go down to 25hz with -6db at 22hz
Lowest octave is not well blended with the speakers. Should lower the volume on the sub and make sure it is in phase. These guys at SVS know their stuff, but that lower bass sounds slow and loose. If there are no sub(s) with these speakers, then the speakers need re-calibrating at their R&D dept. Me no like the sub notes presentation.
No offense to SVS, I avoid their rooms now, because every time I have gone in, it's like this. Highly exaggerated bass that is completely non-musical. Not my cup of tea.
Why? It's a really cool tune, and tons of fun on a good system. I'm glad to hear ever more electronica and and interesting music being played at shows. Or do we need to stick to Diana Krall and Buddy Guy for eternity for audiophiles?
Maybe that is the music, and not the speakers. Also, the recording quality of this particular TH-cam video is extremely poor, which is ironic since it was created by Stereophile.
The name of the first song in the demo is called WARRIORS it’s on the SUBWAY GAWDZ album track number 5. Just a FYI

I think of it as cars.
Different price ranges and styles for everyone.
Where are the reviews?
Does anyone know the exterior dimensions of the big towers?

Radiohead!
God, at least play some music with more natural instruments.
Amen...so bad.....
They didn't make the video/demo just for you...
@@FatterTony no kidding? I thought they did.
@@Nightjar726 clearly...
The irony in your sarcasm is priceless 😂
The RH track has very impressive holographic image, although that is useless over TH-cam.

What is your cup of tea 🫖🔊? And please add price.
Thanks
That music is punishing to listen to on TH-cam, I feel sorry for the folks in the room.
That track actually sounds good if you hear them in your speakers.

@@QuintEssential-sz2wn don’t really care for Diana Krall and never listened to Buddy Guy.
yeah most demos are garbage jazz, aka LOUNGE MUSIC. 🤮
do they sound as good as a pair of ATC SCM ASL DYNAMIC ACTIVE MONITORS , NOT ON YOUR LIFE 🤣🤣🤣
speakers sound like unpleasant farting instruments .

Uhh displaying speakers? Wtf I'm out.
