I am only referring to the CENTER CHANNEL passive 3-way speaker here. I am setting up a hexaphonic & octophonic surround sound room, initially with 6 identical speakers, then expanded to 8 identical ones. For SVS Sound to be jumping from USD $399 to USD $799 was one huge and super-risky move, SVS Sound had basically DOUBLED the price for basically the same exact thing here for the center channel passive 3-way. We'll have to see in a few years how did that turn out for them. In my case, 6 x $400 = $2,400 and 8 x $400 = 3,200. Now, with this "Ultra Evolution" model, those prices would have to be doubled. Hmmm.... let me think about that for a NC second.
Very interested to see someone do a good write-up against the rest of the wide world of speakers. Disappointed I missed seeing them at FLAX, I feel like it's hard to walk into the places around here and just listen/try stuff out.
Interesting technical discussion here Gentleman, I’m still sorta looking for a Video that’s going to let me see and hear 👂 them in Action. I realize I’ll be hearing them through the Soeakers on my Desk Too ( Mac) . But it’s the next video the Panel should create. I’ve talked to Jay & Nancy several times with some questions. They have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. But should I switch out my 2 Way Bi-Amped B&W CDM-7NT Towers & matching Center ( roughly 14 years old ) , and working currently. To jump into the SVS Ultra Titans and Center. 5Kish+? Note: I did replace my B&W Sub with a SVS Sub. Model is 70+lbs and 3 ports. I did replace the Amp in it about 6 months ago. And gave it new Life again. And discovered on a Sunday , and with a phone call 📞 had an answer within an hour, and the solution at my Doorway in 4 or 5 days. Due to this outstanding and unimaginable Customer Service, is probably the most reason I’m considering updating my Yamaha Receiver AV RX-A3030 with 65” Panasonic Plasma Flat Screen home theater. And also hoping the latest technology will get me interested in listening to Music (CD’s, Vinyl again). So back to my point , why isn’t there a Video demonstrating the Ultras doing their magic ? It’s sorta like that Hot Chick in the Club you’ve been eye balling , and when you approach her and carry out a Convo , she sounds like a Man with a Lisp. Let’s put the Ultra System to test , no Rears or Sub Video soon. Which brings up another? Is this design of the Towers and Center for people who don’t have room for a Sub , because they offer Drivers already within them to compensate? I don’t want to shift my House 🏡 off the Foundation!
Thanks for the post and especially for your purchases and support of SVS! To correctly evaluate any loudspeaker, it must be experienced first-hand in your own home, with your electronics and unique room acoustics. Only then can you assess intangibles like imaging, sound stage, detail, tonal balance, etc.
To that end, the SVS Bill of Rights offers free shipping both ways and a 45-day in-home audition for all direct purchases. I would encourage you to take advantage of this and audition the SVS Ultra Evolution Tower, Titan or Pinnacle loudspeakers in the comfort of your own home. We can also assist you with set-up and system optimization as needed, including the best way to optimize their bass response in both 2-channel and AV applications. Ed M - SVS
@@SVS_Sound ok. Thanks, I will wait on the Black Oak Model in TITAN I always thought 💭 that these B&W’s CDM would be my last HiFi purchase, but I guess one must sometimes Upgrade, sorta like Divorcing your old Speakers. 🔊. It’s sad but a reality of life. Fatter , Louder, and a new payment. But one is never happy with what they have sometimes.
What's the crossover made of what type of parts? Cheap equals sound quality. No free lunch. But for mass home theater, I am sure they would be nice. But a lower end of Dynaudio I don't think so.
the best crossovers alone would cost thousands of dollars. 99% of speakers do not have the best crossover components, u want the best. u will be spending big time
Both Series are timbre-matched and can be blended together. The new Ultra Evolution will have a higher breakup frequency in the upper octaves with the new tweeter as well as greater dynamic output and more solid imaging. With the towers specifically, bass response will be more even throughout the listening area from the force balance array.
I'm glad that svs has moved forward with higher end speakers. The 2500 each speaker market is very competitive. But low efficiency speakers are not the best for class a
I think you guys have gone too far now you're in La La Land of Looney what are you going to come out with next pre burned in cables sadly I have tried to make some contact to find out when you are going to come out with these when I couldn't get any real anything I went and bought my center channel to this day it's still in the unopened box because not a week or so later you release the silliness I was going to buy a second system for my mother now I don't know if I want to keep what I have not that there's anything wrong with it it's a principal thing.
"La La Land of Looney?" Okay, so are you then talking about California, Californication, Caliweird, Kakaland, Kakafornia, Newscumfornia, or the newfangled Communist State of Kamalafornia? Or all of the above? On a serious note.... jumping from USD $399 to USD $799 was one huge and super-riski move by SVS Sound. Excellent speech! I really enjoy listening and not wonder the SVS speakers are so good - well done!!👏👍👍👍
Great show and product! I appreciate your efforts at making excellent speakers. They look awesome!
Preach about the "measuring well but not sounding good" part. Everyone at AVS Forum is dumbfounded LOL

SVS being the most generous company when it comes to giveaways! Who’s going to be the lucky winner of these Awesome new speakers! 👍🏻🔈

I live in Evans, Georgia. How can I get to physically see and listen to a home theater system. I really would like to get some speakers
Can't wait to get a pair in my hands to audition.
I REALLY need to hear these up against the Martin Logan XT F200.
Same bro, same.
read the review where they dip to like 2ohms which can destroy amps.

Will we ever see the SVS bookshelf speakers with mounting holes options and in wall speakers?
Our Prime Satellite and Elevation models currently support wall mounting.

When is SVS going to do Car audio?
No plans for the immediate future but we'll never say never.
Please don't do it
I'm very happy with my svs ultra system I got 2 years ago for my surround system, but I won't use any svs in my analog system products products
Any idea where they'll be available to demo in Austin, TX?
Please check out our dealer locator and contact first to make sure they have in stock: www.svsound.com/pages/us-dealers
Are the ebay sellers authorized to sell these? Will I get warranty ?
I will have to locate a dealer now, you sold me on these, completely. I assume Listen Up in Denver, CO, should have access...
Yes, ListenUp will have in stock within the next few weeks. Thanks!
How would you compare these to the outgoing Ultra Series in sounds quality, acoustics, soundstage etc?
Both Series are timbre-matched and can be blended together. With the towers specifically, bass response will be more even throughout the listening area from the force balance array.

Where can we find objective measurements on these?
Reviews will be coming soon.
The Speakers are Beautiful, The Design are Nice but the Only problem is the Price but everything else is Perfect.
i didn’t realize canada is 12,000 miles away from america.
What kind of power is required to drive these?
The tower models will take between 20-300 watts. The more you feed them, the more they will open up.
Will it be @ MWAVE?
Yes.
@@SVS_Sound Awesome, I will have to go then!
Hi
cnd prices are absurd. 8000 dollars for pinnacle? 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
OMG and then all those Canadian taxes 😅
