Downing Street has chosen to back Lee Anderson over his controversial comments about migrants not wanting to board the Bibby Stockholm barge. Rishi Sunak has said that the Deputy Chair of the Tory party speaks for the British people.

This debate really brings out the worst in people.Where gas our compassion and empathy gone? I am not for unlimited free movement however I think about what I would do if I lived in some of these countries.Anyone who thinks that the government is fighting for them is delusional, this is red meat to detract from how badly they have run the country.

What a car crash of a TV programme if this clip is an example of this show. Absolutely depressing. This is nearly as bad as what the Jeremy Kyle show used to be like. Why does Carole Malone have to constantly shout over the other guest and at times Jeremy Vine. Where is the discussion here when you have Carol Malone believing everything she says is right and anyone else who has a different opinion she has the right to shout them down. Carole Malone is a hypocrite ten years ago she was involved with rhetoric supporting austerity, supporting benefit caps supporting measures that have increased homelessness in this country. Yet here she is supporting a caller who talked about being homeless against Carole's new easy to target group migrants.
