I do kinda agree he should've died and the rest of the anime would be them attempting to bring him back or find his reincation it would've been a better plot than them kicking him around about the fact he wants to die honestly this feels like the most anti climactic situation that could've transpired after the previous episode
something more evil then that the hero was technically an immortal they finally found a way to weaken him to the point of bringing him to death true death that he's been waiting for for god-knows-how-long and they up and change their mind at the last minute what could possibly be more evil than that you go as long as he has looking for death and when it's finally in front of you the ones who were about to gift you what you've always wanted change their mind
I can't handle kids that are too emotional like that. I try to comfort them so that way I won't feel like crying if not then I would be fighting back tears at the sight of it.
One small problem that everyone seems to ignore: Wasn't the portal about to collapse, thus forcing the demons to retreat? And wasn't the Core the only thing that could help the demons improve their world? Both of those problems are never actually solved, by the end...
And this is what gets stupid man it disappoints me that from a serious situation later is taken as a joke, sometimes I question manga creators and their writing skills in story is not bad but kinda ruins the mood for me, or maybe it’s me who is already into more serious manga stories lol
I think you've missed the point. While this manga isn't as 'serious' as your serious manga, it does delve into serious themes. The turning point here signify something important to the entire story.

There's more to his story though, along with just his reason not wanting to die. But to get that part you have to read the manga because it's less condensed. Also, I can't be leave a 3000-year-old being with op magic could not figure out a way to die, if he really wanted to.

A weapon created by humans, that they grew to resent.
A near-immortal being that survived many generations of humans and demons.....
What he needed is companionship, not death.
The fact they even knew he was holding back
In the anime he was in way worse conditions, he even lost his arm
I think the reason for this is because is because if it was the same as the manga it would be like how the fuck he survive like that lol
@@syntraxmellow266 its because they didnt wanna be as graphic. if they truly wanted to represent the manga, leo would be missing the entire right side of his torso. he survived because hes immortal. even in this scene we see that when facing otherwise fatal damage, the only way to actually kill him would be to remove the philosophers stone (his core) before it enacts auto regeneracy.
@@MasterOfTruck In other words censorship
Why do all that damage in the first place tho?
This show was surprisingly deep in the end bro, it was truly a master piece.
like i thought always a happy end
There's this web novel called "The Main Heroines are trying to kill me!" where the MC has to pretend to be a scumbag because it was the only way to get the "Best Ending" according to his transmigrator ancestor.
Love the spot where you cut it, gave me a good chuckle lol
If this doesn't get a 2nd season, imma be real sad
a 2nd season would ruin the ending
@@ChewMeLikeGum not really, i just want to see Leo helps them rebuild the demon kingdom, and maybe figure out a way to be on good terms with the humans
I pretty much guessed this as this is quite predictable, they wouldn’t actually kill the hero. I want something more evil!
Read Dungeon Defense if you want something similar but evil.
I do kinda agree he should've died and the rest of the anime would be them attempting to bring him back or find his reincation it would've been a better plot than them kicking him around about the fact he wants to die honestly this feels like the most anti climactic situation that could've transpired after the previous episode
welp, Japanese will do what Japanese want and this was made for the Japanese so we have no say unfortunately.
@@spirittail4958 I agree it felt anti climatic. Though it also felt like the morally right decision so I am a tad conflicted with it
something more evil then that the hero was technically an immortal they finally found a way to weaken him to the point of bringing him to death true death that he's been waiting for for god-knows-how-long and they up and change their mind at the last minute what could possibly be more evil than that you go as long as he has looking for death and when it's finally in front of you the ones who were about to gift you what you've always wanted change their mind
The way she treated a dieing person is disrespect full
same energy as your mom waking you up for school, we've been there
0:42 that caught me of guard, girl turned on auto tune
Leo: kill me before i lose my mind again
Them: bruh
Leo: i did all I could to make sure you all would be able to carry on my will
Them: nah
This anime: The Philosopher’s Stone.
My brain on FMA and JoJo’s because of that one One Minute Melee: The Philosopher’s Stone of Aja!?
Seems like he got a good enough reason to live at the end there.
leo 3000 years old, but edchina just 500 years old😂😂😂, and she fell in love with him in manga 🤣🤣🤣
Alternate title: 5 demons bully helpless villager.
In the end he don't wanna die, he just wanna find place where he call it home 😅
A little funny how he was designed to grow and learn but learning to grow beyond his programming was the hardest task for him to learn... 😅
正直レオが羨ましいです。エキドナ様に踏まれたい…
Lol underated
Feel bad for bro cause they are all gonna die and him still alive imagine the suffering
I Feel Sad About The Fox Girl I Have To Give Her A Hug 😢
I can't handle kids that are too emotional like that. I try to comfort them so that way I won't feel like crying if not then I would be fighting back tears at the sight of it.
Leo : can't i just die?
Meliodas : sometimes i wish i could too!
reiner : i want to die too!
spawn : bitch please!
I wish this was the dubbed version, I’m slow at reading subtitles and too lazy to pause lol😂
Leo: Please let me die.. and take on the duty to co-exist with humans and monsters..
Echidna and gang: Never back down never what!? 🗣️🗣️
Comments: Yeah, he just wants to die.
MC second earlier: I want someone to save me.
when she putted foot on his heart he felt so much painful
Fantastic 🎉
Reminded me about the demon of razgriz but it's actually opposite direction of this anime.
One small problem that everyone seems to ignore:
Wasn't the portal about to collapse, thus forcing the demons to retreat?
And wasn't the Core the only thing that could help the demons improve their world?
Both of those problems are never actually solved, by the end...
1:14 魔王エキドナというより、女王様エキドナw
Leo : I JUST WANT TO DIEE!!!
Echidna : _*steps on Leo_
Leo: this is good too
And this is what gets stupid man it disappoints me that from a serious situation later is taken as a joke, sometimes I question manga creators and their writing skills in story is not bad but kinda ruins the mood for me, or maybe it’s me who is already into more serious manga stories lol
Ok go read Zetman, clearly you are looking in the wrong way.
I think you've missed the point. While this manga isn't as 'serious' as your serious manga, it does delve into serious themes. The turning point here signify something important to the entire story.
Old animes and manga were just golden ..this generation is losing creativity
@@vitaminprotein9669 people like you are just spoiled with choices, you know why older animes are better and more creative? Bcoz they were literally the ones that started it and that made it special, you can't expect everyone to come up with new shit, just look at the real world, how long has it been since we got any new developments in technology or literally anything
@@DenLim123 it's not about new shit ..its about good shit.... nowadays animes are mostly shonen with just hot girls and ok-ish plot ..animes back then were more real life oriented and also the darkish arystyle and bgm made it classic.. nowadays all anime are either Romance.. fantasy or isekai and too much censorship of certain details.this is why I like seinen and not shonen
Echidnut in another world
0:41 cries sounds like it got some autotune lmao
Step on me Queen Knuckles the Echnida
ohhh yeees please Echidna please step on me lol
かわいい魔王エキドナ
👍buen anime de la temporada espero y rezo para q salga la 2 temporada😱 me gusto esta chingona
Him just getting kicked on with no strength to hold is even more funnier in anime
i totally forgot i binged watching this anime lol
I actually hated this ending cause like, what now, he's still immortal and is just gonna be alive forever? He's going to outlive all of them and have to help bury each one, do they expect him to do that and then just kill himself? Considering the lengths he went to for this suicide plot it can be assumed that he CANT kill himself, weather it's a mental thing or he's just to powerful to do himself in. And then these guys just take what might be the only chance for death away?? Yeah of course he still wants to live, everyone would TRY to live forever if they could. They gaslighted him into thinking he had to stay alive just because they didnt want him to go. Like god that's so unbelievably shitty. He's been alive for 3000 YEARS. Every time he meets new people they're always gonna not want him to die, he's gonna end up sticking around till the sun explodes and then just have to float in space forever because no ones every going to let him die. That's truly hell. Being forced to live forever because people keep guilting you into it.
There's more to his story though, along with just his reason not wanting to die. But to get that part you have to read the manga because it's less condensed. Also, I can't be leave a 3000-year-old being with op magic could not figure out a way to die, if he really wanted to.
In the next arc he find out that one of his brothers also survived the last 3000 years
A lot of ppl keep using the term gaslight wrongly
thats what immortals do, they burry everyone they know
Better than most animes how it just ends without no conclusion plus it's different how demons age nobody's thinking about that logic
lets be honest they robbed this man of his final chance at rest now hes immune to it and will live forever.
"Gosh I wish that were me"
So you want to be a hero who was forced to protect humanity for more than 2000+ years and ended up being considered a monster by humanity itself.
@@yuyjyuyj2382 if it means getting stepped on by a demon girl then I'll endure.
@@bungiecrimes7247 you down bad bro
Homie just wants to go to the Gulag. XD
At the end of the episode, echidna gets a message that there is a report from the viceroy in the demon world, is it his child, does echidna have children?
dude id be pisssssedd. imagine being immortal but the imortal where even if you wanna die you cant and these so called firends refused to grant that. fuck that shit man
This was a cute anime
Bro just let the man finally rest after a long ass time 💀
and this is why you should have a plan be encase your friends get soft
if Leo died the anime would have ended, why I expected a more interesting resolution lol?
There should be a season 2
i thought it will be as brutal as the novel
Needs to be more family friendly you know
I read the manga a long time ago and this aint that sad
Ok now this is finally something I want to watch again, I am such a sucker for tragic heroes that give everything only to be shunned and then have only the villain to turn to.
Do you know the name of the anime?
This man literally proved Green goblin right
Leo : step on me
Wow. All the ppl getting all philosophical about the immortal being denied death. Yeah after 3000 years I might get tired of living - but first I’ll take that 3000 years!!
Hugs
Well this guy just learned his lesson about wanting to be a villain
Villains always lose, don’t want to lose, don’t be a villain
i wish that was me, i want to be steped on my those heels
In the manga hes body was cut
This anime is underrated,,
Leo Wants to die
Chapter Master Dante : Me too Kid, Me too...
Dante will get his rest one day, but he's such an iconic and popular character I don't think it will happen any time soon. I reckon it will be Abbadon, Angron or Ka'Kandha that will finally finish him off. Then again, Dante did beat a Swarm Lord in a one on one fight.
@@Demalion1there are fates worse than death in 40k.
He could be gravely injured and then gets put into a dreadnaught sarcophagus so that even in death he still serves.
