The “Safe Cracking” International Physics Tournament 2024 - Hong Kong Final
今年首次由學苑主辦的「破解保險箱」國際物理錦標賽香港區決賽已順利舉行，勝出者會代表香港出隊參加國際賽事。
是次比賽參賽者衆多，每隊高中生參賽者需要根據不同的物理原理，設計、組裝及製作一至兩項鎖扣裝置。參賽隊伍需要了解保險箱背後的複雜機制及物理原理，親自破解保險箱，再向評審講解隊伍的設計理念和原理。參賽學生能夠透過評語和比賽過程，加強對物理學的認知，以實際操作累積經驗，同時増加隊員之間交流。
The Hong Kong Final of the "Safe Cracking" International Physics Tournament organised by HKAGE for the first time this year has been successfully completed and the winner will represent Hong Kong to participate the international contest. Each team had to design, assemble and fabricate one or two locking devices based on different physical principles. The teams were required to understand the complex mechanisms and physics behind the safes, crack the safes themselves, and then explain the team's design concepts and principles to the judges. Students were able to deepen their understanding of the application of Physics and accumulate experience through the evaluation and competition process, as well as to enhance the communication among team members.
