These are gorgeous!!! I want to try this. Tough to choose a favorite, but maybe Apricot. They are all lovely colors.

You mentioned that the florescent colors don't glow, but the box says right on the front that you need a UV or black light for them to glow. Thr Mica powders are beautiful!

I know that. I put them under my UV light for 10 mins and nothing!

I don't think they charge under UV. I think they only glow WHILE under UV/black light. Fun at raves or roller skating rinks LOL

i'm wondering if you tried those fluorescents without grinding them? I've been making soap and cosmetics for years and my favorite company is TKBtrading. I learned from them that you shouldn't mix most mica colorants in a grinder because it damages them. They suggest only using a grinder with pure pigments, like oxides and ultramarines.

I just recently bought some mica pigment power to make my own custom colors for hard gel and they came out amazing… and was searching and come across your channel making them with dip power and thought that would be another cool project and money saver since I already have the pigment… those colors came out amazing my favorite is the blue 💙
my question is too mix the colors did you just shook them or did you have to grind them in a grinder to get it mix?

I liked the apricot and sky blue. I'm way to lazy to do my own dips. LOL The consistency looked like Dodi's thermal powder which I actually really like.

UV pigments require a UV light to glow, like a black light.

The UV powder is just that, UV reactive! They do not glow in the dark they glow in blacklight or UV lights!!!
