- The Led Zeppelin catalogue has been reviewed, all 8 albums with every song rated from those albums to come up with the definitive ranking. 10 great songs have been chosen by me to go with this video.
I have been a long time fan of most of their work. For this video a fresh listen was the best way to do this so I re-listened to the catalogue one song at a time over the last few weeks before doing this.

Achilles' Last Stand is a perfect example of making a long song not sound repetitive or boring. 10 and a half minutes of awesome.
Same for In My Time of Dying, which is even longer at 11 mins
Then we get that exact song, Tea For One... probably the most boring Led Zeppelin song... Since I've Been Loving 2

About All My Love if I gave every song that is popular with fans a high rating what would be the point of doing this? I have to give my honest ratings as I hear each song.
“Ten Years Gone” is my favourite song of all time. It’s main riff is both gorgeous and groovy, an almost impossible combination. The solos are also some of the best ever written, especially that first one.
Agree its a good song. Got an 8.5 from me.

I agree with most of this, but All My Love the lowest ranking on In Through the Out Door??? What's up with that?
Maybe they were trying too hard to do a pop song

Dazed and Confused and Since I’ve Been Loving You are 10s.
Glad to see you ranked Presence so high. It’s in my top three Led Zeppelin albums. Very under rated album.
Carouselambra is the best song off ITTOD. You gotta give it another chance
That song has some good moments but lost a point for the keyboards
Good list ... however, IMO:
- Several songs on IV should have rated higher (Black Dog and Levee, for example)
- If Whole Lotta Love isn't a 10, you're not understanding it's importance. Heartbreaker should be higher as well
- As great as it is, there is no way on God's green earth that Presence is a better album than LZ II, even though you scored it that way.
- You generally scored acoustic or lighter tracks with lower scores, which I think is a flawed bias. Rain Song, for example, is as brilliant a track as anything in their catalog, and you missed that boat. One example of several (Thank You, Ten Years Gone, etc)
- CODA is a LZ studio release, period. It was released after Bonham's death, but it is every bit as much a LZ album as any other.
Good list, and generally the outcome is not far from what one might expect...but a few obvious WTFs in there. Looking at your list, I'd suspect you were under 40, but just a guess on my part.
Hopefully you at least enjoyed the soundtrack I put together for this

Wow, I am amazed that I am so close to your song rankings. That being said, to me, Stairway is not a 10. It's a 8.5. Since I've' Been loving you, In my time of dying. Kashmir and Blackdog. Are all tens though. Dazed and Confused. Whole lotta Love and How many more times are like 9.75's. LOL. My sleeper song no one ever mentions is Hots on for No Where. Thats a 9.5 for me.

8. Zep 3 I really like 4 songs a lot on 3 Immigrant Song, Since I've been Loving You. Out on the Tiles and Gallows Pole. But every song after Gallows Pole I really don't like much at all. In through the outdoor there is no song I like better than the 4 on I liked on 3 but there is no song I really hate either.

Stairway was always getting a 10. If you like seeing 10’s check out the video I did on Maiden, I think they have got the most 10’s from all the bands I have done

Whole Lotta Love and Dazed and Confused should both be 10
I knew, absolutely knew that when Presence came up you were going to crank Achilles the highest. Don't get me wrong, it's a great song, but For Your Life and Hots should have been rated higher.
Achilles Last Stand the best song for me from Presence and a top 3 Zeppelin song but its ok for you to like those other songs more. We all hear things differently.
Actually I think that you got it about right. But remember you get twice the bang for your buck with 'Graffiti ' mate.
Probably would be number 1 if they selected the best 10 songs from it and left off a few of the fillers

@herb white thanks for the feedback, I have tried to do something a bit different than the usual guy talking about albums in front of the camera. There are many that do a great job with that but I really wanted the music to be included in my videos. About Aerosmith I only have a handful of their albums but maybe something with them in the future.

Now Deep Purple or Accept, please
I’m considering doing a 1970-1993 Deep Purple one as I know that era well but I don’t know the other periods well enough to do the whole catalogue. For Accept I know a handful of albums only, probably not enough for a show but do enjoy the material with Mark Tornillo.

All the albums are worth a 10 except for definitely Presence and maybe Coda.
How can they be a 10 if some of those albums have songs that are 7’s or 8’s?

Can’t give you too much credit for this🙄 Ranking obvious greats like Kashmir and Stairway and of course Achilles 10’s, which everyone knows, but then missing embarrassingly on That’s the way and Ten years gone and All my love is inexcusable. To think you feel What is and what should never be is a better effort then the Lemon Song is blasphemy. I’m glad you didn’t rank Coda. You would have given it better marks than Zeppelin lll🤨
