- Some time ago, this area was bustling with sounds of machinery working, people speaking and shouting, freight trains coming and going. Thousands of workers earned their wages here… but the war put an end to that. Production facilities were destroyed, machines were stopped and train rolling stock was abandoned on their tracks. As you might have guessed, today, we’re speaking about the location called Abandoned Factory in War Thunder.

Spawn camping is unstoppable when there is nothing to do for a team (when they capped all zones) they will go to the enemies spawn and camp, if you don’t do that, then you are wasting your time and potential points.
And this is what you call spawn pushing.

A is lava, B is for rushing russians, C is dank memes.
Don't go b without mobility. Don't go c in Japanese and tanks(ie unarmored vehicles). A its the equilizer, were heavy armor and casemates tds can protect the their sides and light armor can flank

My choice, especially for a heavily armored tank such as a StuG:
Charge to C as fast as possible, swing around the corner of the nearest building to the center of C. Not only will you have a chance to nail your enemy more quickly, but you will also already be within the circle and essentially an extended wall, allowing your allies to cover fire from above you and next to you.
Once you secure C point, take a full assault at B, smoke and cover is absolutely needed especially for the damaged tanks. You will easily overrun your enemy by numbers and firepower.
At this point, use mortar fire on A. Your team should split into two groups: one to advance at the enemy spawnpoints and the other towards A. At this point victory is in your favor.
often I park a tank destroyer on the road next to B effectively cutting the map in half. You have buildings to either side and the spawn point behind, the only hard part is hitting tanks as they rush across the road from A to B. They come up quick and often in great rushes so it ends up being like an old fashioned shooting gallery.
my favorite trick on this map is to turn my tank into an inferno to cover my teammates. lol
Abandoned is a flawless War Thunder map in my opinion.

Yeah, 'flawless' if you enjoy being killed in your spawn by the 90% of players that rush for where C is in Domination mode, just so they can get that first minute of kills.
I wouldn't say flawless. Mainly because youalmost always get stuck with idiots that rush C point, and a lack of open areas for long range tank destroyers. Aside from that I love this map.

Personally, they should literally just block the spawns from fire coming out of where C is, otherwise it's pointless trying to change anything with the map and it should just be dropped from rotation entirely.

Considering it's size (like others) this should be Arcade and Reserve tanks ONLY, not even close to top tier (as it is in game)))).

If I get unlucky and spawn on this map, and If I am on the right side spawn, then I rush A, hoping that my team is smart enough to cap C instead of B. After we cap both points I hug them the building facing the enemy spawn wandering over to the center ally way and crossing it into the fuel tank area just behind the B point. Finally I sneak into the B point and the kill fest begins!
Make a map guide for Port Novorossiysk as well
yeah that ones always such a troll i think everyone could do with a little advice on that map...
Do you show the Panther 2 and the King Tiger 10,5cm this often because you intend to remove them in the next update or is this supposed to say that you don't want to remove them afterall?
Spawn killing on that map is a hell and one of the reason why I as a new player stop playing WT for 6 month, I just wish there was a better system that made defensive playing more lucrative, like...
(This is ideas I have, they may be stupid or bad, but I just want something else than what we have today)
Give more points (per second of combat) closer to the capture zones and fewer points if you are to far away from own spawn or the points, the order is to take and hold the points so if any player try to go away from the spawn by going towards the enemy spawn it should be seen as he are breaking the orders, when this happen he shall not be able to see the team on the map and the commander will be incompetent (same as dead) but can be restored by going towards a point to take or defend it.
The other thing is to make a game mode where you shall free an area like a town, you will only get points when you are inside this area (a big circle) and the rule are fight to the enemy have no more tanks, if a player is outside of the play area and kill someone then the kills player get a new reserve tank for free, if a player are inside the war zone and kill a player on the way in it will give less score depending how far away the player are, and no point if snipint the spawn. This is a mode I think many TH-camrs would like, it is more action and kills are what give you the win, the scoring shall be counted by the kills, best team and squads shall get the usual bonus.
Last: I like WT, this is not critique but rather ideas from my side, I will still play WT even I still do not like spawn killing.
the team on the left rushes up to the north, are slaughtered, and that usually spells the match.
Once you control C, you control the whole map.

This video was very useful for me. I always have a hard time positioning myself well and I have a hard time getting more than three kills per each tank in my lineup.
I usually go to C, get intel on the enemy, usually mark off 3 spots of where I see 3 enemy tanks, then ask for backup if there is more than 3 enemies, which 99% of the cases there are, and 96% of the cases no one even responds to my "backup", which I then begin to lay a strategy around the facility, even if I got a heavy as my tank in use, I will use it as a light tank in those moments.... which I mean, flanking on a bigger scale
This is one of the most intense maps in GF, I love playing on it.
Always enjoy these helpful tips to improve my gameplay experience because it gives me ways to flank or go head on.Changing the experience every time.

Jokes aside, this was a very good guide, this map is kinda confusing to me.
One of the must intense map of the game! After a few time BAM you are in the middle of the fight :D

I usually flank at A in the riverbank area. I do however prefer to give my team suppressive fire instead of rushing in and capping and like to stay at banks and hold down the position. If A is secure I usually like to go to C, hold down one of the production areas using a low pro(file) tank. Popping around a corner to surprise enemies who are engaging my teammates. As you may have noticed I'm really depending of my team.

I don't usually go tactical. I always use the hit-and-run tactics on maps with one cap point. Now I know what to do with the abandoned factory.
This is a good map and I have my route that usually works for me
If the enemy team starts to get the upper hand, and they start closing in on the spawns, theres a building north of C almost outside of the map that allows cover for sniping.
Basically depends on what tank I’m in for my higher tier tanks I flank in between b and c and attack from the side in an ambush position. Sometimes works sometimes not

I bring my friends along and make a formation. The enemys wont attack large numbers.
Night combat really worst here, think about 1 M22 locust hiding with bush camo somewhere near cap point and the whole team have no idea where did he hide
My tactics? Well simple, rush b with spg or heavy tanks
I usually play my AAA tanks. Usually a lot of aircraft buzzing around. My last best was 14 aircraft shot down with my quad .50s.
its simple, if u dont have the bias, just keep at distance behind a cover and spot all that u can, if u have the bias, just hold w and the victory will go to u
The map simply demands a good cooperation between the players, because there are very little places where 1 or 2 tanks can feel relatively secure.
Can you ease BR compression? Like adding a BR of .5 (like 4.5, 1.5, 7.5, etc.)

What tactics abd strategies I use on this map you ask? I immediately go back to the hangar to reduce my exposure to cancer causing substances.
After the Leopard A2A4 and type 90... will we see more french modern tanks? Like the Amx 32 amx 40 and maybe the Leclerc?

Abdullah Al Jhmani Why??? This map is pretty good. I usually stay around B and A, hiding in an ambush or just waiting for action. If needed, I can move to A or B depending on what's happening. Japan is actually a map I like. Just find a good hull-down position and boom, you're set!
Adam Velez, I guess you are right, but the thing I don't like about Abandoned Factory and Japan is that they are too frequent, tho I sometimes have a great time in them and I have to admit they are fun, but like I said they are too frequent

Abdullah Al Jhmani I see. I'm level 35, so I guess I have some more experience. I would recommend that you attempt to develop a strategy that works with you. If you are a speedy tank, then rushing A or flanking C could be a good Idea. If you're a brawler C is a great area for that kinda combat (B could also late game). If you're more defensive, stay hull-down between B and A and look forwards the path to B. That way, if the enemy attempts to rush B late game, you can blow him to kingdom come.
On Japan, brawlers are good at the bamboo forest area (A or C, I don't remember) and B early game. Speedy tanks can rush the open area in (A or C, still don't remember) and then flank any snipers looking over B. Hull down (my preferred strat) is to stay hull-down between B and the open area. That way you can try to prevent a rush at the open area (and prevent flankers) and look over the brawling at B (Which usually is early game)
The best option for Japanese tankers it's to go for A, from there you own medium armored tanks and can flank while using the stations as cover any casemate td and heavy tanks.
Crowded Factory guide for top tiers: leave the match.

I flank around the outside of c if I spawn on the right and execute anyone who comes to the zone. Best in a pz4f2, it’s lethal
A- no one bothers to cap
B- Rushed by Russians and is second kill zone
C-Everyone rushes and dies immediately
once, when i played c was a, and the only spot. I was a AA tank, out of ammo... so I tried just for fun to flank the enemy by behind. It worked 100%, until they saw my lack of ammo. R.I.P.

As a puma 1 player in 6.0 and 5.3 the best for light tanks is huging the wall for safety because at that br every one is blind in that br its ez
In AB people usually go C or B but most of them go C some go B and 1 or 2 go A , to complete cap C in AB go flank the enemy , basically in warthunder : Who Dares Win ...

Dear gaijin, I am writing this message to you because I am quitting this game for good. I have been playing this game for about 4 years and as of lately i am unable to enjoy the game like i did in the past. I really hope you guys fix the problems as soon as possible and make the game enjoyable again for me and other players that have stopped playing the game for the same reasons.

My tactics are....1. Follow team 2. Stay with team 3. Be a scaredy cat an hide behind your team.

I neve go for C on this map, I start capping A and then B.

Go to a sniping/ambush position while my teammates are capping a zone nearby...and got killed by either a rushing enemy tank or countersniped while aiming for another tank.
All before firing my first shot, of course.
(Nah jk, I like this map, mostly went to either B or C for supporting roles before roaming around)

Ginjin you better not make this a large map. also agine ask if you want some advice on things. ima make a list of things to do to help your compony. that also includs people playing that want to put there imput, comint on this so i will mite put it into the list.
Just another city/urban cluster.
And the strategy for this "gem" ? In past, when this "AF" was spammed so hard (at least in SB), the strategy was an immediate CTRL-Alt-Del and good riddance "aces.exe" (If you do this on the loading screen fast, you are not counted in, thus no crewlock, and no boost/wage losses - it is also worthy to set a bat as an" aces.exe" killer). Also you do not screw your team, as you are not counted in - another will have the chance to join in your stead.
Nowadays it sees to be less frequent, so its bearable. Yet its quite rare for me to take a ground vehicle there. Somehow I happen to dislike these urban areas, so mostly this bolshie factory provides some screnery to the mission, be it CAP or CAS.
So I was playing my leopard 2k. Going fast as fucc boi. And hit a small fence. Stopped me dead in my tank tracks. Can you please have a patch that just focuses on fixing issues and graphic loading, packet loss. And other major issues? Your player base with thank you. You've added enough modern tanks for a time. So please just fix these issues.
Regarding the factory map: mass on C and take it first, the world is your oyster. /game

I take ASU 57 rushing field ( close to C ) and 14 kills every games x)

Im not sure why , but I always have monster game on this map ,but only with german tanks. Easy 10+ kill streaks. I dont have much luck with other nations however xD
