    I went to London for the first time (and solo!) this past March. Traveling solo is the absolute BEST. I LOVE it. These are all such great tips. Don't be nervous to adventure out of the city, which is something I wish I did more. It's a shame that people think traveling alone is scary or lonely. It truly is the best.

    Loved all of them.. Totally in for the last tip though! It's so important for us to be able to do whatever we want to while we're somewhere, to just soak it all in because we may never visit the same place again! There should be no rules while traveling :) Nice videos. Looking forward to enjoying the summer in London.

    I absolutely love going out solo. No complaints. No hold ups. Can do d go where I want without an argument of which place is better. My own space. I just love it. Everyone must exercise being alone sometime it’s not everyday a group.

    I just watched your comparisons between living in the US and the UK video and your comments are disabled so I'm commenting here. I just wanted to say that I've seen sooo many videos of Americans doing "comparisons" and just complaining the whole time and not explaining differences, so they just make it sound like we're stupid for the way we live. Your video was the only one I've seen that was balanced and positive and contained good explanations of differences. Thank you for showing your fellow Americans a true picture of life in the UK :)

    Loved your advice in this video! ☺️ I went to London solo for 10 days a couple years ago. It was my second time, but first alone, and being able to do whatever I wanted was AMAZING! I walked around a lot of parks and just found myself getting lost in neighbourhoods admiring all the houses. Also, I loved going to covent garden and having a listen to whoever was playing downstairs at the time.

    I have been solo traveling london the last week, following a lot of your Tips like clothing and stuff but for example a lot of mostly women came up to me and asked for money. One even followed me for like three or four minutes and almost hit me when I wouldn't give her money.
    Also I did not know that the "old" 1 pounds are not taken anymore and I had to change them at a Bank.
    But most Londoners were super nice and I had a lovely week without sightseeing and a whole bunch of "casual" london experiences thanks to you

    Great ideas! Traveling solo is a great opportunity to do the things that the people you normally travel with (family, spouse, kids) don't usually enjoy.
    Do you offer an Airbnb experience? I'm curious to know more about how they work as they're not available yet in many cities.

    • @loveandlondon

      I don't do one myself but you just go on to the site and book the ones for London, they have short ones and ones that are a few days. I did one that was great and I met lots of wonderful people.

    Hey jess, i jumped to ur videos yesterday and wow, thanks for the tips :D . I Have one question in mind tho. Since im solo travelling, is it safe to ask the local / stranger to take a photo for me? Especially in the Tourist sight area such as westminster abbey, london tower, buckingham palace, etc.
    Been to West europe countries like france, spain, italy. mann, There's a lot of pickpockets right there, And im afraid that london has the same story 🤣

    • @loveandlondon
      @loveandlondon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Yuda!! Hard to say really. It's like anywhere... you're essentially giving your phone to a stranger so you have to decide for yourself what you think!

    • @yudawibawa3542
      @yudawibawa3542 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@loveandlondon ahh okay, i thought london is safer than most europe countries in terms of pickpockets crime. so it's not that safe isn't it hahaha. Probably taking selfie is the best option for now 😅 or maybe asking the tourist in that area 😜
