I have a question great video by the way and info given, I have a issue with my 2016 Chevy silverado 2500HD 4x4 with the 6.0, no metal in the tranny pan of any kind just the i call it mud stuff on the magnet, the truck tranny in this winter weather is running 151 at max and in the past summer towing was 177 max, everyhting on truck fluids and all are perfect, no dtc codes and no tranny codes. I am getting a shudder only on hills here an their for a brief 3 second time lines nothing else, i do all my work becauses as i have talked to tranny shops many they say well turck has 215k miles on it drop a new tranny in it, Im thinking this is pointing me in my research and your video that this could be a U joint issue as they are orginal or a torque converter issue just starting any inputs for help. it is a 6L90E tranny always have serviced it 40k mark fluid and filter no flushes just dump refill change filter and then drive 3-5 times and dump fluid to get as clean as possible.
I think this issue is a torque converter issue.

This is a year later but I have a 16' 5.3l 6l80 4x4... Truck was fine I bought it with 68,000 now it has 82,000 on it. I had the fluid changed cuz it did shift a little hard going into third sometimes they changed the fluid they said it was good a little brown but not burnt still red. And it's still pretty clean right now but I bought new tires for it no lift or nothing stock size stock everything just so I got all terrains but they're stock the size and I did a burnout and dirt just went sideways barely even ripped it and then I started getting a shutter on the way to work. Shutters right when I get to cruising speed sounds like a torque converter right but the motor is still mint and it shifts great ever since I change the fluid it's shifts great... Now I got the shutter I parked it literally drove it home and parked it You think I can get away with just doing a torque converter or should I bring it to a shop and see if I did more damage... Still shifts great so hopefully trans is ok well see 🤞🤞🤞🤞.. no check engine light either

My 2015 Silverado v8 6 speed just turned 100k miles and started to do a shudder at 70 mph ; should I change the transmission fluid or just REPLACE THE TORQue converter .?

      Fluid/filter/ probably has reusable gasket
Flush cooler & lines & swap converter. Use Billet converter.
